This riad is tastefully decorated by the French owners. It is in an extremely quiet location, without any traffic noise. Mohammed and his brother were excellent managers. The housekeeper/cook was lovely. The safety was good. We left items in our room without incident. From the roof top, the Saadian Tomb storks could be seen nesting. The breakfast was more than enough. The proximity to sites was good.

The paint was peeling in a small section of our room probably due to water in the wall. The towels were air dried making them stiff. The children felt their beds were too firm. There is no spa in the American interpretation but there is a jacuzzi on the roof. These were all minor issues.

Really beautiful Riad in an excellent location. Close to everything but far enough away to enable us to explore and also enjoy piece and quiet away from all the madness of the city.

once you are in you feel comfortable. Mohammed and his brother were lovely to deal with and they can be your guide for many activities and excursions that you will never regret you participate in. The Riad is close enough to all the main attractions that you want to see. It is clean and the helper's ladies are so kind. We totally enjoyed our stay. I advice who plans to visit the old city in Marakesh to stay at Riad Étoile du Sud et Spa. It is really a lovely place.

The breakfast needs to have more variation from day to another. May be to add some cheese or boiled eggs to the same daily good breakfast they offer.

Nice atmosphere and staff very friendly.

Hammam facilities were not available to use as we arrived rather late - around 8 pm, after having difficulty to find the Riad. This was a big disappointment as we had booked this place especially since it has those facilities.

Mohammed and his brother were lovely to deal with, as were the 2 Female helpers who I didn't catch their name. We were welcomed with tea on the terrace in the sun which was great! The breakfast was very yummy - great tea, coffee and a variety of food to choose from - we always left from breakfast happy and full. It was really quiet at the Riad, yet close enough to all the main attractions that you want to see. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. I really have no complaints, we totally enjoyed our stay and would go back if we ever visit Marrakech again. The only downside was the wifi you had to go upstairs to the first floor to get a good connection, this would be easily fixed by moving the WIFI access point.

Rooftop spa was fun, the kids loved it.

The map showing the location of the Riad on website was wrong which was irritating and time wasting (this may be a Google maps issue). The night manager could have been a little more helpful in making us comfortable on a chilly night.

I was travelling with my husband and his brother and we loved the Riad. The breakfast is great! The manager Mohammed is so frendly and attentive. Only 10 min (by foot) far from Jemaa El Fna. The room is comfortable.

The Booking's homepage has a information that check out is at 6 p.m. This is not true, we had to make a check out at midday. But we leave our luggage on the Riad until 7 p.m.

A hidden gem in the heart of Marrakech old town. Beautiful hotel, lovey staff, fantastic location and a great breakfast on the rooftop terrace.

The location is in a rough part of town the only good thing is that it is in walking distance of the town square, the night manger was helpful however the actual manager was rude, there was no hot water, breakfast was only served for in a one hour slot and he made sure that we finished exactly on time which was difficult with children. And even though it stated that check out was until 6 when wanting to leave our luggage in the room while out before going to the airport at 2 the manager said we would have to leave it in the hallway of the riad.
