Breakfast was good and we were even served it after the hours specified one day. Female who was running it was very friendly, attentive and did anything asked of her eg booking taxis, laundry etc. Lovely roof terrace and nice quiet room even when noisy outside.

Bit of a walk from the square but easy enough to find after a couple of days.

This Riad is totally worth it! I've been very well welcome by the staff, they were here each time I needed something, even when I arrived late because of my plane. The location is ideal, it is near everything and with the explication of the staff, it was really easy to find my way. The breakfast was really tasty. I highly recommend it !

    - Very friendly staff, who go out of there way to assist you, for anything for example personally taking us to the main square on mopeds. - easy to book excursions which was also cheaper then those offered in the shops -Lovely design of the hotel. - the pool is good to dip in for a bit after a long hot day in the city. - Although breakfast was standard, as every Moroccan hotel served the same variety of bread and cheese ect, however breakfast time was flexible whenever you wake up -

Although not far from the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa), well 20 mins walk ( i dont consider that far) it was too easy to get lost en route, due to poor quality signs, so maybe a map should be available in the hotel,

khalwa and especially Abdul made our stay in Marrakech extra special!! We became friends and will be seeing them again! The riad was lovely, everything you could need. It was very cosy away from the crazy city of Marrakech but still just a 10 minute walk. Highly recommended :)

I liked the place itself - the decor and the ambiance were soothing. The staff were helpful and friendly and made a person feel welcome. It was quite good value as well and the supplied breakfast was a welcome start to the day. I would definitely recommend the Riad Farniente and would stay there again.

The outside noise at night could sometimes be disturbing - but it is a small niggle.

Very friendly staff, breakfast and dinner were delicious. Nice and clean rooms. Worth the money! Walking to place Jemnaa el fnaa is about 20 minutes, without a cityplan you easily get lost! We did the excursion to cascade Ouzoud, which was wonderful! (But maybe too expensive, because the guide and lunch were not included in the 30 euro's per person. We were with 6 people so we paid 180 euros only for the transport)

    Nothing

We were so well taken care of when we dined at this Riad. We were welcomed by such friendly staff. They were incredibly cheerful and great fun throughout the evening. We were brought the most breath taking amount of delicious food- definitely one of the best meals of the holiday. The candle lit courtyard of this Riad was a stunning place to spend the evening, cannot recommend it enough!

My mum and I have just visited Marrakech for the first time and loved our stay at Riad FARNIENTE! The riad was decorated in a lovely way and offered real sanctuary from the bustling streets. We had evening meals a couple of nights there and the food was wonderful. Thank you to Rhaola and Abdou who helped to make our stay so fantastic with their superb service! We hope to visit again soon!

This lovely riad is just 10 minutes walking from the main square of Marrakesh. The riad is beautiful restored and decorated. We were welcomed with mint tea. No rumour from the outside. Good rooms, excellent beds and nice service .We enjoyed the housemade breakfast on the roof terrace. If the owner is there, ask him to go with you for a one day trip in the mountains (High Atlas). We had a great day, visited a local market, had splendid views and met local people. This riad is a topper.

We do not think you will find a more perfect place in Marrakech . A charming Riad, well situated for the Medina , for the Souks & square. NAIMA ET RHAOLA were perfect hosts & couldn't do enough. The staff were all attentive & friendly. It's a place to return to & will become a firm favourite.

Everything was perfect from arrival to depart! The pick up was essential....although in a very good place, easy to walk around the medina, its difficult to find first time, after its no problem! Slept like royalty in a beautiful room! Staff all friendly, helpful and happy! We loved every moment there!

The riad was clean and the people nice. My partner had food poisoning when we arrived and they gave him tea to calm his stomach.

The isolation of the rooms is quite poor. They charged us 15 € per person for a dish this is more than the room costs and totally overpriced! Don't eat dinner there outside it's much cheaper! Hard to find on your own the first time. Ask women for help instead of guys approaching you as they won't be happy with what you pay.

Haola and Abdul were great hosts. Could not have been more pleased at how good the service was. We felt very welcome.

The location was difficult to navigate to/from but it made for an interesting experience as well. It was pretty far from the city square but that also gave us the opportunity to see what life was like beyond the super-touristy areas in the city.

Really nice Moroccan room, with nice roof terrace. Very clean throughout. Good breakfast. Use the airport transfer, you'll never find this place on your own (I think true for all riads)

It's at least 20-25min walk to Djemaa, but there's so much to see around you as you walk that it doesn't seem to far!

If you're looking for a Riad in the midst of all the activity, this is the place to go. Excellent service, friendly and would do anything for you. We were a group of seven ladies and the service they provided for us was excellent.

Unfortunately no locks on the rooms which wasn't a problem for us as we filled the Riad but if you were staying alone there's no security for personal belongings.

The very friendly staff, Mohammed made us feel very welcome. Very good breakfasts and very clean rooms which were cleaned daily.

Getting lost in Marrakech, this Riad was very difficult to find. It is a good idea to take photos of local landmarks, so as you can find your way back!

We only stayed one night in this Riad but it was the best so far of the three Riads we have stayed in on our three visits to Marrakech. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the roof terrace was substantial and adequate. The location is very convenient to the medina. We would return here.

We booked this riad as it was very good value for money. There were 9 of us travelling to Marrakech for my 30th birthday. From the start the staff were excellent, Moroccan tea on arrival and arranged a meal and birthday cake for the next day for my birthday for a small charge, the food was lovely however did work out more expensive than some restaurants. The riad was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and always on hand if you needed anything. The riad was about 10 mins walk from the square and after the first walk there it was very easy to remember. I would recommend this riad if you want a real taste of life in Marrakech with a safe and friendly atmosphere.

Only negative was that one of the single beds was extremely hard.
