Riad Fes Baraka was the first place we stayed at in Morocco after a long journey there. We couldn't have asked for a better location not a more hospitable staff. And to make things even better, they were able to upgrade our room to a suite (which I had requested earlier but there was limited availability). Great breakfast, good dinner too. And really pretty riad.
I liked everything, the building is very nice, the service, cleanliness and location are superb. Highly recommendable for an unforgettable stay in Fes
We had a splendid time- the staff are all lovely and looked after us in such a nice way.The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were really kind. We also really enjoy our massage I do recommend the Riad to anyone travelling to Fes.
NOTHING EVERYTHING WAS SPLENDID ! ! ! ! ! !
- Location (inside the medina, but 2min walk to a square where taxis can be taken) - Very friendly and welcoming staff - Really well decorated and authentic - Clean and comfortable - Delicious food
Lots of character Good food
Good quality for the money. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice roofterrace, and a great location to discover the Medina. Also the breakfast is a plus!
It could not have much better. Samir land Touria were amazing walking us to Restaurants in case we got lost in the Medina. Nothing too much trouble for them
Beautifully decorated good food helpful staff and good facilities and location
Can not think of anything
The room was beautiful, the bathroom needed cleaning. We both had allergies in the room, likely the rugs and throws need a deep cleaning.
Fez is a difficult city to visit becasue of the constant onslaught of "buy, buy, buy". I felt that the Riad, although an "oasis" from the outside world, the staff we also selling you the whole time we were there. Trying to eat our dinner we were aksed about scheduling tours, massages, etc. It would have been nice to have eaten in a relaxed way and then approach the staff for our own needs.
helpful staff, rich and tasteful dinner, comfort and clean room, nice morrocain decor
very difficult to find, no parking nearby, avoid this place, when you travel by car
This is exactly what you want in a riad: great location, not far from the old medina. Beautifully restored building with spacious rooms. The staff is a real dream team. You seldom find such a dedicated and helpful set of people! They made our stay unforgettable!
The bathroom of our room was small and needs renovation.
Pool Furniture Breakfast
What a gem! We had a super time- the staff are ALL lovely and looked after us in such a nice way. I do recommend the Riad to anyone travelling to Fez.
Wonderful staff that bent over backwards to accommodate every want and need!!
Not a thing was wrong!
The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were really kind. We also really enjoy our massage.
Is dificult to find without gps. The air conditioned made a lot of noise.
We are a family of four, with kids aged 9 and 6. We had the Arabesque suite which was perfect. The room looked straight out on to the pool, which was just what you need on a hot Fes day. There staff were all lovely. Incredibly helpful. We had a couple of day trips with Abdul to the mountains and Voulbulis which were great, as was the Rashid s tour of the Medina. Evening meals were great Maroocan fayre.
Nice staff. Very accomadating and go out of their way to help you. They upgraded me to a beautiful suite for the same price as a single room.
Front door was kept locked all the time. You had to ring doorbell to get in whether it was 10am or 10pm. private tour guide that they fixed me up with was very poor and I wondered whether he actually was a tour guide. He didn't have guide ID
Seriously loved the staff here - and the Hammam is really good! Watch out for the body scrub if you are not used to this kind of thing, but it is great. Wonderful quiet neighbourhood right at the end of an alleyway. Pool wonderful
Rooms are dark, the showers need attention, massage not good; not enough public seating areas when Riad ifs full
Good location, friendly English-speaking staff. Good breakfasts. We would stay there again.
Nice roof terrace for breakfast but not an unobstructed view. Not bad but not exceptional.
Good location, staff very kind, very good breakfast.
The location is excellent, the staff does a very good job and it's certainly one of the most beautiful riads in Morocco.
The rooms differ very much in quality, the smaller rooms are rather dark. A problem of almost all riads: you are going to hear the other guests much more than you might want to. But that's not the fault of the staff, riads are simply not soundproof. I'm just mentioning because it might help other customers to decide.
