With 20 individually styled rooms and suites, a four-bedroom private riad,is a boutique hotel combining grandeur and historic architecture with hideaway nooks, terraces and gardens - making it the most peaceful place from which to enjoy Africa's most exotic city. Our story began with two friends on the hunt for a small riad to buy as a holiday home. ruined courtyard of one of Agadir formerly great private homes. Nearing dusk and with the sound of the muezzin's call to prayer echoing in the air, instantly fell in love with the atmospheric house . The Riad offering something different – a home from home retreat that combined great food and service with the spirit of the building's past and a contemporary decorative twist. During a two-year renovation, local craftsman used traditional techniques to breathe new life into the building. Polished lime plastering was used in a rainbow of colours to create walls, baths and bed frames, original tiling was renovated and carved cedar ceilings restored. Retro furniture sourced from local flea markets was combined with one-off bespoke pieces to create a unique interior.

I recently booked one night at this Riad, and had a very pleasant stay. The service was warm and friendly and the room clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money an I highly recommend it.

This place is cheap, the onsite manager is a nice guy, the roof terrace is pleasant, and the wifi works.

Poor location. Neighborhood is uninteresting. Address is almost impossible to find. No sign on outside of building. This is not a real riad. It's a cramped house with small bedrooms and creaky beds. My bedroom could not be locked or secured from the inside. Although advertised that the rooms have private bath, none of the rooms have private baths. The eight bedrooms share two funky bathrooms. When I checked in, I paid in cash. The next day, after I left Agadir, I discovered that they had charged my credit card as well. It took five phone calls, ten emails, and more than two weeks to be credited back for their overcharge.

    Very friendly staff.

We booked room "this room offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower", but we got one without TV and with shared bathroom and toalete.

The place is great. The breakfast is good and delicious. The location is close to the beach and night life.

The room I booked online states that it has tv and private bathroom and toilet. However, when I checked in, I was given a room with a shared bathroom and toilet. The shared bathroom and toilet were clean and nice, but this was not what I booked. The description on are misleading. I raised the issue with the owner, but he said I could cancel and go somewhere else, it was late at night and I was only staying 2 nights, so I opted to stay in. I have a feeling the misleading was deliberate to attract people. When booking at this riad, please bear this in mnd, or contact the riad for more info before booking.

The family that ran this Riad we're the loveliest family! There were very friendly and helpful and caring. The roof terrace of the riad was great.

That my room didn't have a window that opened to the outside, but it wasn't far to the roof terrace.

Friendly famili hotel, the young staff are very good in english, different hotel with heart, good value for the money

Not so close to the beach, 15-20 min walking distance and not so easy to find (it is hidden in a smal street)

    - roof terace

this place is a messy disaster - dirty, filthy bed, mattess, linens: just disguisting (even for a backpacker), sticky, with hairs... - towels in a bathroom were hideous I've stayed at may riads and hostels in Morocco - this one is really bad Just avoid this place

Just returning after a weekend away at this beautiful riad Having been recommended by a friend to stay here I was opened minded but expectations was still high. And I was presently surprised!! Everything from the rooms, to food to décor was exquisite. Staff were so attentive especially Sana and Ayoub. They were always on hand for every need, especially as I had problems locating my lost luggage! Thank you!!!! They advised to go camel riding which was such an experience! (They spit the camels that is) and Tea in the evenings is delicious, so traditional. I stayed in a lovely airy double room and was perfect amount of room for the stay. Would I go again?! Most defiantly! Already planned to return with friends in august, for my birthday

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and realy liked it. interesting place run by lovely people. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to help. Loved the tea and breakfast on the roof terrace. We came back to stay for the last- 5th- day of our holiday. Also, they booked a taxi for us to go to the airport wich was helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed it here and would stay again.

Hard to find the first time as the riad is in a alleyway of the road (behind little square)
