very, vere misleading in what it is described to be and what really it is. Actually we have never ever experienced anything like it.
The amazing terrace on the roof and the host that is always kind to help out and answer questions and give directions
The breakfast was prepared with a lot of care, but some variation would be welcome .. This was compensated by the lovely cookies with a nice tea
The brother and sister are very helpful and personanable and aim to please. If you want something you have to ask, but they will do their best to get you what you need.
the riad gets pretty cold, so it would be bettter if they gave extra blankets or heating. Would like to fruit at breakfast and tea should be offered without having to ask for it.
The roof terrace is really great for sun bath and long reading session. The half-board formula (with breakfast (same) and dinner) was a nice too. the location is great too, closer to the residential area then the big hotel chains by the beach. 15 minutes walking distance from the beach.
The room was rather cold, since it was winter and unfortunately didn't have any heating solution. However the bat tub could be one.. The space in between the rooms is very open, meaning we can hear easily what is going on around. I think they would take advantage in putting on few doors in the stair case. Be aware that if the staff suggest you a local activity, they probably are getting a commission, which seems to be a common thing.
Traditional Moroccan riad with good stylish furniture. City Centre in a 10 minutes walking, beach in additional 5 minutes.
Cold rooms without any heater (december). Simple breakfast.
Nice decor. Terrific shower. Comfortable bed. Nice roof terrace area. Owner quite helpful.
Difficult to find, there are no signs to show where the hotel is, located in a quite run down area. Breakfasts were basic. Evening meals were basic and insufficient, and a real problem if you travel with a vegetarian. No locks on room doors. Didn't like seeing dog in kitchen area. No windows in the room.
Very friendly and hospitable stay with a real Moroccan atmosphere.
Excellent staff beautiful interiors. Perfect location to beach and local area. Great transport links. Friendly locals.
Locals were occasionally pushy. Bartering was odd.
I love the staff in this Riad, they are very friendly and made me feel like I was home after the first day, and I stayed for 6, it was really hard to leave. I stayed in the biggest room in the property and it was very cozy with a bath tub in it. Overall if you are looking for an accommodation that is feel "local" then this is the place, it wouldn't feel like you are a tourist, you are part of the family of the Riad.
We found out on our return to the Uk that our credit card had been charged unknown to us for this room. We had already paid in cash on leaving the house. It's been a month since this happened and we are still waiting on the money to be returned. It's been three weeks since they've even bothered to reply to our e-mails. Also, this place is impossible to find on your own. We were 100 yards down the road, and none of the locals even knew where it was.
Fabulous hosts that are incredibly hospitable! the riad is a Moroccan style oasis in the-reminds -me-of-Las Vegas commercialized Agadir.
Finding the place is a challenge, but a very kind policeman escorted us to the address!
Antiques and old style.no
No towels. No soap.. No glasses. Tv has uk plug for 2pin socket. So doesnt work! Door frames etc unfinished.nice big mirrors just stand on the floor. Told to buy my own coffee/tea for breakfast. Needs TLC.
Nothing is as advertised. This is a spare room insomeone's house. No restaurant, just dirty washing hanging on the terrace, can look at pants hanging on the line whilst they look for clean cups to serve your morning coffee! Please don't get ripped off like we were.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.. Jalale made us feel welcome from the start. The room was beautiful, breakfast was delightful, location was about a 15 minute walk from the beach. Wifi worked perfectly in all areas. Decor in the rooms was beautiful, very cultural.
Very comfortable Moroccan style rooms loverly terrace the family are simply the best ,great breakfast it was all so loverly & at great location.
With 20 individually styled rooms and suites, a four-bedroom private riad,is a boutique hotel combining grandeur and historic architecture with hideaway nooks, terraces and gardens - making it the most peaceful place from which to enjoy Africa's most exotic city. Our story began with two friends on the hunt for a small riad to buy as a holiday home. ruined courtyard of one of Agadir formerly great private homes. Nearing dusk and with the sound of the muezzin's call to prayer echoing in the air, instantly fell in love with the atmospheric house . The Riad offering something different – a home from home retreat that combined great food and service with the spirit of the building's past and a contemporary decorative twist. During a two-year renovation, local craftsman used traditional techniques to breathe new life into the building. Polished lime plastering was used in a rainbow of colours to create walls, baths and bed frames, original tiling was renovated and carved cedar ceilings restored. Retro furniture sourced from local flea markets was combined with one-off bespoke pieces to create a unique interior.
Love it there thank you guys for the warm hospitality
Terrace.bath with shower. Nice welcome.lovely food ok breakfast
Area.food was expensive 100 dirham charged for tagine.didn't realise until town next day price difference all in all a good pleasant stay would stat again
I recently booked one night at this Riad, and had a very pleasant stay. The service was warm and friendly and the room clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money an I highly recommend it.
This place is cheap, the onsite manager is a nice guy, the roof terrace is pleasant, and the wifi works.
Poor location. Neighborhood is uninteresting. Address is almost impossible to find. No sign on outside of building. This is not a real riad. It's a cramped house with small bedrooms and creaky beds. My bedroom could not be locked or secured from the inside. Although advertised that the rooms have private bath, none of the rooms have private baths. The eight bedrooms share two funky bathrooms. When I checked in, I paid in cash. The next day, after I left Agadir, I discovered that they had charged my credit card as well. It took five phone calls, ten emails, and more than two weeks to be credited back for their overcharge.
Very friendly staff.
We booked room "this room offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower", but we got one without TV and with shared bathroom and toalete.
The place is great. The breakfast is good and delicious. The location is close to the beach and night life.
The room I booked online states that it has tv and private bathroom and toilet. However, when I checked in, I was given a room with a shared bathroom and toilet. The shared bathroom and toilet were clean and nice, but this was not what I booked. The description on booking.com are misleading. I raised the issue with the owner, but he said I could cancel and go somewhere else, it was late at night and I was only staying 2 nights, so I opted to stay in. I have a feeling the misleading was deliberate to attract people. When booking at this riad, please bear this in mnd, or contact the riad for more info before booking.
The family that ran this Riad we're the loveliest family! There were very friendly and helpful and caring. The roof terrace of the riad was great.
That my room didn't have a window that opened to the outside, but it wasn't far to the roof terrace.
