The riad was great, the employees did not speak much English. However they were really nice. We had tea every night and the maids were amazing serving us. The first night they give us a fruit platter that was amazing. Tea was also very good. Room was very clean and air conditioning was great. We booked two trips with them. One to the beach and the other to ghr desert. They will pick u up right at the riad and take you to the van walking, a little weird but it was ok. The medina was right next door. However once u inside the riad it's very peaceful. Taxi fair only $12.00. From the airport. Also someone will be there when you arrive to take your luggages since the taxi it's not able to drive inside the medina. It's kind of cool that someone takes your stuff in a carriage to the riad. Don't be shy in going to the medina and have dinner in one of the restaurants. Just don't stay out to late.

The riad it's hard to find like every other riad so pY attention once you leave the riad to go to the medina. We didn't stay to long wondering the medina it's to loud and not much to do so be ready to take tours and stay away so be careful in booking the riad to many days they won't return your money if you decide to take your and stay overnight. Also be ready to take some cash with you while in tours for tips and other things. Also most places are far once you get to the van find a comfortable sit ( almost 8 hours to get to the desert). However amazing journey. Don't stay out to late in the medina coming back you might get some people selling smoke (?). I was with my 18 year old daughter and men could stop starting at her. A little overwhelming but we survived. Love it !!!

Really good location, everywhere is within walking distance - rooms are of a good size and clean

Hardest hotel to find!! We spent half an hour looking for it, don't bother just allow one of the young morrican guys show you and give them a few coins.

Everything was excellent, from smooth arrangement of airport transfer to, early check in. As I arrived from an early AM flight around 10:30 they even had breakfast waiting for me. Karim the manager spoke perfect English, and he and the rest of his staff could not do more to make you feel welcome, and to ensure you enjoy your stay. They even agreed to store my bags for one day, when I return to Marrakech from an early train and leave from a late flight. This is exceptional service and I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough.

Small rooms but comfortable with traditional Moroccan decor and friendly English speaking staff. Excellent location from the main square (less than 5 minutes walk) but yet surprisingly very quiet. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast and afternoon tea. Staff are very polite and eager to look after their guests and they will bring you a pot of tea if you ask for it.

Marrakesh it self is not our 'cup of tea' there are much nicer places to visit in Morocco. There are rampant (Scooters and bikes) everywhere and they will push you, run you over with no apologies. So watch out for these and other hassles in the square.

Stunningly maintained riad full of amazing decorative interior touches. The terrace is perfect for breakfast (which changed every day) and the rooms were a nice and cool retreat from the heat. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Also the location was very convenient, being close to the main square yet still a quiet place to retreat from the madness. Would definitely stay here again

I have alrady written a review for the first part of my stay but I think the hotel merits a second thumbs up for our last few days. We returned from a desert trip, tired and weary but were greeted by Karim´s smiling face. He had relocated our rooms so we were on the same floor - such considertion. A big thankyou, too, to the lady who served our gentle, so friendly, smiled constantly and made sure we had everything we could want. The hotel was spotless and the location surprisingly quiet. taxi service was great, at 100 dirham per trip to the airport.A bag handler was on site to take you and your luggage to the car but of them insisted on 400dirham just to walk us to the waiting taxi with the suitcase. Other than that, a perfect choice!

The most important detail about the Marraplace was its safety and position within the city. I felt very well looked after with regard to service and information. Nothing was a problem.

Perhaps an omelette for breakfast, but other than that it was all very good.

Beautiful riad in the heart of marrakech but only a very short stroll from the medina. Staff wonderful, the rooms very well presented. We spent 2days there and then returned for 2more..and it felt like home!

The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. This family run Riad is in the perfect location, is clean and has plenty of hot water.

There is nowhere to sit and be warm and have good lighting to read. but that is a small price to pay. we were unlucky to have 2 cold and wet days out of six.

The location is ideal, being only a short walk from the square, which is certainly the place to be in the evening. Despite this the hotel is very quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The beakfast was different everyday, giving a good start to the day. Marraplace is a traditional Morrocan Riad offering a great place to stay for those looking for a taste of Marroco Along with comfort and great service

The rooms, being traditional, are a little on the small side, but this should not put you off

The location was excellent, central to many things. There was a nice continental breakfast to start the day. The Riad Marraplace was a great place to stay with a good value for your money. The room and the hotel lobby were decorated in the old style. If visiting Marrakech again, I would stay there.

A fantastic Riad cannot recommend it highly emough. Extremely friendly service, with very smiley and helpful staff. Kalim was a godsend and really made our weekend with a very warm welcome, helpful open and friendly advice. Fantastic location - yards from Jemaa El Fna. This is a beautiful Riad - very comfortable room Very clean, well maintained Excellent breakfast, very peaceful would love to stay here again. Wonderful stay highly recommended!

Any noise carries, through all rooms - its very quiet and peacful, unless anybody makes noise (e.g. children)

Fantastic little place, a real hidden gem. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. The hotel was perfectly positioned right in the thick of everything yet was still well sheltered from all the noise of the square. Beautiful decor, lovely breakfast and a comfy bed- everything you need when you want to unwind after the insanity of Marrakech.

I recommend using their offer of arranging transport instead of trying to save a few quid like we did and getting lost- it is easy to find once you know the route, but the maze of side streets can be very confusing, and a little unwelcoming when you first arrive. This is more of a warning to other guests than a negative point though!

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Marraplace and would recommend this riad to all. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and their hospitality was second to none. Location was great - just four mins to the main square. We felt safe and secure in the area and although we were right in the middle of the action, it felt like an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle. What we didn't realise before we went was the riad has only seven rooms, so you get very personalised service and attention! We had an optional dinner at the Riad which was one of the best meals we had in Marrakech. Riad was happy to organise trips and activities on our behalf. Absolutely awesome vacation!

As others have stated, Wi-Fi was difficult to get in our room. Best place to use ipads etc was in the reception area - which was fine by us as a lovely open environment.

The staff is very friendly and amazingly helpful. They make you feel like home as soon as you walk in. Very good breakfast with different (home made) local delicacies every day. Dinner in the hotel is definitely worth it! I was very impressed by the the politeness of the staff. Their big smiles definitely made my days every morning! Wifi in the room... Just perfect. I was able to face time from my iPhone without any problem. I recommend it 100%!!!

This Riad is the best one we have ever stayed in. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The terrace upstairs was everything they said. Their pictures did not lie like so many others. The transportation from the airport was great. Once you were led to the Riad we never had a problem finding it again.

Great Location, staff and beauty of the facility~

Shower didn't drain well and we had to quickly rush so it would not go onto the main floor.
