It's in the center of the Medina. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. It's a good place to relax from the caos outside.
Like the two ladies who is looking after us during breakfast...they are helpful..The beds are ok altho' the rooms are small.A very good place to unwind and relax.
Straight, left, right, right, left. In this way you are entering from a quiet traditional Riad location into the non stop live show of the Jamaa El Fna. The Riad rooms are super class. There is airconditioning in the room available, but you don't need to put it on. Even not with 38 degrees outside !! The breakfast on the roof terrace is making you smile every morning ! In the evening you can enjoy the view on the Jamaa El Fna with a delicious traditional dinner. No alcohol, but I did not 'miss' it. The service of the Riad have impressed me. The clean room, the breakfast, the dinner, the personal attention . . everything was high class. For sure I will come back at this Riad !! This promise I have made !!
If you want to look for negative matters, you can always find. But the atmosphere, the kind and friendly service makes that even negative things are positive !!
Fabulous location right in the heart of Marrakech. Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Lovely varied breakfasts. Peaceful although centrally based.
Location was very central, yet tucked away, just two minutes walk from the night market and souks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful room and communal parts, stunning roof terrace where breakfast was served with a view towards the Jamal el Fnaa. Front door always locked so felt very secure. Excellent value for the price.
Friendly staff who speak English. We had to get up early (4 AM) and the manager has awaken to let us out. Hotel, staff, location - everything looked very professional.
Staff were very helpful and the décor and facilities provided were excellent
We have no complaints
The riad is less than a 5-min walk to the Djema el-Fna square, and at the same time it is very quiet. It was recently renovated and it is very clean (some more rooms will be available in a few weeks/months). The breakfast is delicious and varied (different Moroccan specialties), and is served on the roof terrace. We were picked up from the airport when we arrived (free), otherwise we wouldn't have been able to find the riad. The staff (Karim and Fatima) were very friendly and helpful.
Very difficult to find if not picked up from the airport. The internet does not work well in the rooms.
Great place if you want to stay in the old town of Marrakech. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms and good breakfast.
The riad was great, the employees did not speak much English. However they were really nice. We had tea every night and the maids were amazing serving us. The first night they give us a fruit platter that was amazing. Tea was also very good. Room was very clean and air conditioning was great. We booked two trips with them. One to the beach and the other to ghr desert. They will pick u up right at the riad and take you to the van walking, a little weird but it was ok. The medina was right next door. However once u inside the riad it's very peaceful. Taxi fair only $12.00. From the airport. Also someone will be there when you arrive to take your luggages since the taxi it's not able to drive inside the medina. It's kind of cool that someone takes your stuff in a carriage to the riad. Don't be shy in going to the medina and have dinner in one of the restaurants. Just don't stay out to late.
The riad it's hard to find like every other riad so pY attention once you leave the riad to go to the medina. We didn't stay to long wondering the medina it's to loud and not much to do so be ready to take tours and stay away so be careful in booking the riad to many days they won't return your money if you decide to take your and stay overnight. Also be ready to take some cash with you while in tours for tips and other things. Also most places are far once you get to the van find a comfortable sit ( almost 8 hours to get to the desert). However amazing journey. Don't stay out to late in the medina coming back you might get some people selling smoke (?). I was with my 18 year old daughter and men could stop starting at her. A little overwhelming but we survived. Love it !!!
Really good location, everywhere is within walking distance - rooms are of a good size and clean
Hardest hotel to find!! We spent half an hour looking for it, don't bother just allow one of the young morrican guys show you and give them a few coins.
Everything was excellent, from smooth arrangement of airport transfer to, early check in. As I arrived from an early AM flight around 10:30 they even had breakfast waiting for me. Karim the manager spoke perfect English, and he and the rest of his staff could not do more to make you feel welcome, and to ensure you enjoy your stay. They even agreed to store my bags for one day, when I return to Marrakech from an early train and leave from a late flight. This is exceptional service and I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough.
Small rooms but comfortable with traditional Moroccan decor and friendly English speaking staff. Excellent location from the main square (less than 5 minutes walk) but yet surprisingly very quiet. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast and afternoon tea. Staff are very polite and eager to look after their guests and they will bring you a pot of tea if you ask for it.
Marrakesh it self is not our 'cup of tea' there are much nicer places to visit in Morocco. There are rampant (Scooters and bikes) everywhere and they will push you, run you over with no apologies. So watch out for these and other hassles in the square.
Position was wonderful and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was so enjoyable up on the terrace.
Stunningly maintained riad full of amazing decorative interior touches. The terrace is perfect for breakfast (which changed every day) and the rooms were a nice and cool retreat from the heat. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Also the location was very convenient, being close to the main square yet still a quiet place to retreat from the madness. Would definitely stay here again
I have alrady written a review for the first part of my stay but I think the hotel merits a second thumbs up for our last few days. We returned from a desert trip, tired and weary but were greeted by Karim´s smiling face. He had relocated our rooms so we were on the same floor - such considertion. A big thankyou, too, to the lady who served our breakfast...so gentle, so friendly, smiled constantly and made sure we had everything we could want. The hotel was spotless and the location surprisingly quiet. taxi service was great, at 100 dirham per trip to the airport.A bag handler was on site to take you and your luggage to the car but beware...one of them insisted on 400dirham just to walk us to the waiting taxi with the suitcase. Other than that, a perfect choice!
The most important detail about the Marraplace was its safety and position within the city. I felt very well looked after with regard to service and information. Nothing was a problem.
Perhaps an omelette for breakfast, but other than that it was all very good.
Beautiful riad in the heart of marrakech but only a very short stroll from the medina. Staff wonderful, the rooms very well presented. We spent 2days there and then returned for 2more..and it felt like home!
Everything! Super Friendly staff 10 minutes from airport 2 minutes from main square Room cool throughout the day, without even turning on the air-con good breakfasts
Nothing! slightly hard to find
Very friendly staff , good location , quiet
on sheets of the bed there were a few hair..i think a laundry issue
extremely helpful and nice people working there! Highly recommended. Great location
The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. This family run Riad is in the perfect location, is clean and has plenty of hot water.
There is nowhere to sit and be warm and have good lighting to read. but that is a small price to pay. we were unlucky to have 2 cold and wet days out of six.
The location is ideal, being only a short walk from the square, which is certainly the place to be in the evening. Despite this the hotel is very quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The beakfast was different everyday, giving a good start to the day. Marraplace is a traditional Morrocan Riad offering a great place to stay for those looking for a taste of Marroco Along with comfort and great service
The rooms, being traditional, are a little on the small side, but this should not put you off
The location was excellent, central to many things. There was a nice continental breakfast to start the day. The Riad Marraplace was a great place to stay with a good value for your money. The room and the hotel lobby were decorated in the old style. If visiting Marrakech again, I would stay there.
