Personal, common sites, breakfast, situation, they are a great team, all is perfect at Riad Hamdane et Spa! You feel at home
No windows in the big room and small bathroom
Amazing and comfortable riad, nice and helpful staff, with a special mention to Said that has been really lovely with us. A perfect silent and relaxing place close to Jemaa el-Fna.
The hammam was great but the body massage was up to our expectations.
- Friendly staff - Ample breakfast (if it was ready in time - we were only fed 1/3 mornings) - Beautiful rooftop - Proximity to the square
- Staff was unresponsive to emails prior to visit - Staff speaks little or no English - Poor water pressure in the shower
From the minute I was picked up at the airport, everyone at the riad was so accomodating and made you feel at home. The room was spacious and beautiful. Rose petals on the bed, in the toilet. The common areas were tastefully decorated, candles burning everywhere, very nice ambience. The spa/hamam section looked lovely even if I didn't try it. Wonderful breakfast served on the roof terrace. Highly recommendable, right in the heart of the medina, close to the Djemaa-El-Fnaa but sheltered from the noise.
Perfect location, walking distance to Jamaa alfinaa and all shops. Clean hotel and the receptionist was very helpful and have a good sense of humour. I will definitely book again in this hotel and will recommend it to friends and family. Special thank you for noor alhuda the receptionist for her help
Clean room, have a really good member of staff in reception, there were two but noor alhuda was the nice and approachable with perfect sense of humour.
Staff members - two guys Aziz and another guy from Senegal (sorry can't remember his name) were great, the manger needs to go do a management course. Soon.
We had booked in for one night - two rooms then booked in for two nights as we were told there was availability, next morning I was told there was some confusion and we would all have to share, I was with a couple, and did NOT want to share with them, nor them me. So I asked if they could find me a Riad close by, I was told yes, and they would move my luggage. We returned around 8pm that evening and were told they had a better booking and we would all have to move out. We argued so much we stayed eventually. Terrible treatment of guests. Would not recommend.
the hotel is well located, staff friendly and beds are very nice.
We were a group of 9 men first night we got there, there was no heating in one of the bedrooms. Second day there was no water at all. Terrible. Only one good thing service food wise was good.
The location was very pleasant, juste 2minute walk from the place Jema El Fnaa. Houda and Barhim are both very kind person, very helpful and ready to do whatever you need to have a wonderful stay.
The bed was not really really confortable
The location, the decor and comfort in the common areas are the attractions of this hotel.
I was wrongly charged 19.31 euros related to the ISS that was already included in the room price. Questioned with the clerk, but did not remove the charge. We also reserve a taxi the day before check-out bound for Marrakech train station and the attendant said the amount would be 20 MAD when the driver arrived he said the price of the trip was 20 euros, almost 220 MAD! We do not agree with the price and after much negotiation agreed to pay 50 MAD for a less than 5 minutes trip. My wife was still required to discuss with the hotel clerk who was harsh and mocking the phone. Would not recommend.
noble rooms and beautiful riad employees helpful breakfast good
someone lost the room key beforehand. we got the masterkey, but not everybody of the stuff was introduced housekeeping was a little too ambitious with our stuff
Camere spaziose, abbastanza gentili.
Le stanze non hanno finestre verso l'esterno.
The entrance foyer and the breakfast.
We booked through booking.com for superior double bed room with ac for the night of the 24th Oct. 1. We were given a normal double bedroom which felt like a dungeon, damp walled and very dark from inside (Room no. 31). We did not want to go inside initially and sat down in the foyer for the rest of the evening. We requested them for an alternative room which was declined as apparently they were busy (it was only 12:15 noon at that time). 2. There was no Air-conditioning facility in the room at all, which was one of the criteria we selected for while booking. There was just a large very noisy fan given to us. 3. The bathroom was awful with damp and stains every where on the wall, and very tiny in size(photograph can be provided as a proof). 4. No hot water was available for a shower. When we informed them, we had to wait for 20 mins for the mechanic to arrive while my husband was waiting in a towel. No mechanic arrived. So I went second time to the receptionist on duty, who then came and checked the water in our bathroom. He then went back assuring us that he would do something. After another 20 mins when nothing happened, my husband himself had to go to reception in a towel, (very annoyed) who found him simply chatting with someone else at the RIAD door. Again the same receptionist came to our bathroom to check, but there was no hot water. At this point, he told us to wait for another 30 mins as they had just switched on the hot water. By this time, more than an hour had passed already. My husband had shower only for 5 mins, but when my turn came, I could not take shower even for 3-4 mins as the water had become very cold by that time, and I had to wipe soap from my legs with towel. 5. Next day while checking out, we were charged 5 euros extra than what we booked through booking.com. We had to show them the booking confirmation again to get the actual price what we were supposed to pay. This was then amended.
this riad is overpriced!! We stayed in three different riads in marrakesh and all of them (except of this one) where good. But this one is not very clean and the bath is in a bad condition! Its noisy and the wifi is a joke. after asking for a different room the circumstances where a bit better...
It was in very close proximity to the Djema elf na square, only 2-3 minutes, once you know your way there, like with any riads in Marrakech, finding it at first can be a little hard, so get yourself collected from the airport or met at the bus stop. staff were very helpful and friendly. The hammam and massage was really good. The juice at breakfast was delicious and the breakfast was good as well
Can't really specify anything except the WiFi only connects in certain areas, but this wasn't a major problem.
the staff is so nice and helpfull (all of them from the manager to the guy that work at the night shift)
the wifi doesnt get on the uper rooms, they should put more routers
location very friendlt staff bright and full of coulours inside nice health suit nice breakfast
wardrobes need to have hangers for shirts and other clothes
We spent two nights here and had no regrets. The people who worked there bent over backwards to be helpful. They even served us breakfast earlier than their normal hours to accommodate our travel schedules. The location is fantastic--it's on a quiet "street" but just a five-minute walk to Jemaa el Fna and the heart of the souks. This really is a wonderful place.
friendly and helpfull staff specially Syed Zuhair and Hafeed, spacious rooms,
breakfast not many choices,
great local alternative to boring/branded Hotels!
Nice and clean riad. Good place to hide from Marakesh crazzyness. Near by main square but at the same time in cozy and silent Medina street. Rooms nice decorated and everything works (only one Marrocan funny "logic": refrigerator is in place where is no electricity)
Staff is very friendly but helpless beacause of not enogh English language skills - to every question they answer yes, but can't help as don't understand you right. Also note that it is very difficult to find hotel so ask som local and be prepared to pay 5-10 dhm or print detailed plan
Place was clean and quiet.
Everything was fine
Great location, great staff, wonderful breakfast every morning, altogether a beautiful stay at Riad Hamdane!
Staff is good.. Location is difficult to find.2nd day bread wasn't fresh .
In breakfast for 2nd glass of orange juice I have to ask two time .
Staff is friendly and helpful, and the hamam is nice.
The rooms are dark and not very cozy. The bathrooms are not in great shape and they're very small. Shower is tiny and no curtain so the floor and toilet gets wet when you shower. The rooftop terrace furniture is a bit worn and it looks a lot nicer in photos than it really is. Breakfast is quite poor variety. Great location and good value but not a place you would comfortably hang out for an afternoon.
