All just great. Excellent stuff, the guys and Fatifa just brilliant. All you foodies out there, take the cooking lesson! Breakfast was excellent and a bit different every morning (we stayed there for four nights). No complains except a bit unreliable wifi in our room. We would recommend this riad to our nearest and dearest. Mahtava paikka!
Nothing to coplain about...
Fantastic place to stay. Mario, Maxine and Fatia couldn't have looked after us better. Nothing too much trouble they arranged everything from transport to and from airport, meal on first evening, local taxis when required, recommendation as to where to eat and when I wasn't feeling well (bug I took with me from UK not picked up there) they provided medicine and couldn't have looked after me better. Would return.
Nothing not to like.
The owners Maxime and Mario were very welcoming. The room is spacious and brightly lit.
This is a riad with a slightly modernized touch so it does not have the feel of a traditional one. You need to walk through a long alley to get to the riad which could be a little bit intimidating at night. There is a mosque very close by, so light sleeper would likely be wakened early in the morning.
Maxime and Mario were extremely helpful and made sure to make our stay perfect. Even made us breakfast at 6am when we had to leave early for a desert trip. Location is very good 10 min stroll to the main square. Felt safe enough as well. Room was clean and quiet, lovely toiletries.
Myself and a friend stayed at Riad Helen last week and it was our favourite riad on our whole trip around morocco. It is beautiful, clean and great value for money. Maxime and Mario were very helpful before and during our stay, they helped organise car hire and gave lots of information about options to get to the desert when I emailed them before our trip. Breakfast was also great too :)
Extremely attentive hosts, this was more like a very friendly B&B. The room was very good and very Moroccan. The included breakfast was exceptional and we chose to have the very well priced dinner, cooked by the amazing in house chef (about 30 euros for two people for a 3 course meal consisting of a most beautiful local soup and lamb tagine plus 15 euros for a very nice bottle of local wine). While the hosts were attentive they were not over bearing and it was good to chat to other guests in the common areas. It was about a ten minute walk to the nearest souks (markets) but then a great stroll through literally hundreds of these to the Jamaa el-Fna Square. Both the square and the stroll there are not to be missed experiences.
There was nothing to not like, a great experience. For us, on a quick trip just to experience Morocco, it was the perfect place to stay.
Excellent service, delicious food, top location. And did I mention the excellent service?
Warm welcome...! Very happy about our experience. Thank you.. Angel & Claudio
The managers of the building,Maxime and Mario are amazing! The road is immaculate, beautiful, and in the middle of everything that makes Marrakech a great experience!
