This Riad is 2 adjacent, separate residences located in the Marrakech medina (historic quarter). The Riad Aubrac features a patio pool and Riad Aubrac Oriental has a spa and solarium.
Score from 155 reviews Wonderful
The Riad Misria is near the Médina and minutes from the Marrakech museum and the famous Jeema el Fna square. It features a hammam, massage treatments and fitness area.
Score from 154 reviews Very good
Riad Assalam is located Marrakesh’s Médina, near the Place Jemaâ El Fna. It has a rooftop sunbathing terrace, a small indoor pool and air-conditioned guest rooms with free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 58 reviews Excellent
Located in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, a 10-minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square, Riad Faïza offers a traditional hammam, hot tub and massage treatments.
Score from 111 reviews Excellent
Fatiha is the most charming helpful friendly lady who lookd after us so well throughout the stay. Stay was in royal suite which was enormous. This is a very traditional Riad with polished plaster walls in the bathroom rather than tiles . I love traditional but if you like luxury this riad is not for you. Short walk to jemma el fna square, the souks and bus stops, it is not far to walk to Badi Palace, Bahia palace etc 20 mins max.I asked the Riad to organise a taxi, that way the driver helps you find the riad it was 7 euro per person. One you find it for the first time you soon get to know the area
I loved it all
Very comfortable, Room was a good size - photos don't do the rooms justice! Good breakfast in the morning, and all the staff were very helpful. Easy to walk to the main tourist areas within the Medina.
A bit difficult to find - but this is the case with all the riads in Marakech. We found using a compass on your phone really helpful getting round the small streets!
Nice and helpfully staff, clean, the transfers were great, good value of money, they helped me to organize desert trip, they sent me taxi. Very recommended place to stay!
No sign outside, it looks like private house, difficult to find without help
out of the way so little outside noise, nice breakfast, comfy.
impossible to find and even no signage, you would never know it was a riad.
Good Price friendly and helpful staff
Difficult to find, and like other Riads I've stayed in, no sign anywhere outside to identify it.
Good location and the staff were despite the language problem most helpful. Excellent value for money
Nothing if you are fussy don't go to Morocco
The staff was welcoming and helpful especially Ahmed. The room was spacious and clean (including the bathroom). The breakfast was delicious. The location is around 10min walk from Jamaa Alfna and taxi stops. It's located near a shopping street and easy to find when using directions of the riad's staff.
I didn't get breakfast on my 2nd day because of Eid holiday although it was included in my stay! The room was not cleaned everyday.
Riad Ivissa is right in the medina but in a quiet street. It's very wel taken care of, it has been very well rebuilt and decorated. The terrace is really great. I've stayed in the individual room, which is very small but has everything you need - including AC.
It's very hard to find. Forget maps, they're useless. Even google maps doesn't show the street properly (and this happens with a lot of streets in the medina. most of them which are covered on top because of the sun and this makes sattleitte mapping impossible.
Super nice riad right in the medina but on a quiet (and very difficult to find) street. The riad is small (only four rooms) and very well rebuilt and decorated. I stayed in the single room, which is quite small but has everything I needed. W/C is also small but clean. Staff is super helpful and nice. Would go there again.
Small hotel, located in the heart of the medina. Hard to find, but maybe the locals can show the way. All clean, friendly staff, ready to help in solving any issue. The entire interior is in Moroccan style.
The only negative, is to go to the square you have to pass through the bazaar, and there all the time a lot of people.
The hotel is lovely on the inside, and the young chap that works there is very helpful. The transfers were great, and the breakfast was delicious.
It is very hard to find. The hotel is down a tiny side street, and there is no sign outside at all. We had to pay a kid to show us where it was, and when we did get there the door was locked and no one was there. Saying that, the kid then went off to find him, and some one did come very quickly to open up.
I have to base this review on staying at their sister enterprise, Riad Venezia, because the Ivissa was experiencing a blackout when I arrived. However, the staff, the breakfast and all that are, presumably, pretty comparable and I was very thankful to be effortlessly upgraded without having to pay a single euro extra. The breakfast was hearty and the staff ever so sweet. The place has been lovingly preserved, restored, recreated or whatever and is meticulously cleaned as regularly as one could hope for. In short, it's a real bargain. You easily pay double for this sort of place throughout Morocco.
It's no fault of this riad's, but the layout of this type of building is not for sensitive sleepers or those who don't want to hear their fellow guests (given that you're almost practically sleeping in the same space, separated only by a screen or window). I was awoken at midnight when a lively group arrived, all chatting as they stomped past my bedroom.
No water in plunge pool?the area screaming children kept ne awake running up and down alley bed uncomfortable and hard
The Staff is Helpfull, Samira and Youssef are the best!!! Tks.
Very hard to find…
Nice atmosphere, genuine experience and staff is really nice. Location is good, Walking distance of few minutes.
On the Riad is no sign that is Riad Ivissa, it looks like private house and also no street number. Acess with car is difficult becouse of nerrow streets. Call owner when ou arrive to Marakes and he will help you.
The staff was nice and helpful. Location is near Jemaa el-Fnaa
Very hard to find, some indications would be highly appreciated! No street number, no name on the door at all! We couldn't find it even with gps because actual location is different, so be prepare to pay somebody, and hope they know where it is. Low Wifi signal in the room and no place to hang cloth and to put bags. But in general it was good.
Lovely house with 4 different rooms. We have rented out all 4, and they all very nice. The Royal Suite is definitely the best. The staff is very kind and they helped us in organizing day trips to different places. Hot water, heating, all good. Bathroom equipped with hand soap, shampoo and shower gel too, as well as towels of course. There is a roof terrace with sunbeds too, very nice. As many say the house probably hard to find but we were sent a free taxi to the airport to be taken to the house, so I can't complain! Very recommended place to stay!
Riad muy bonito
Amazing location 10 mins walk to main square but in a lovely quiet area. Amazing staff - Yusef and Meriam could not have been more helpful Organised a collection from the airport for me. Stunning peaceful roof terrace Lovely traditional tea :-) Actually organised a last minute trip for me to go to Essouira (highly recommended) and walked me 15 mins to where I was being collected to make sure I was okay.
Room was cold in night due to it being December - extra blanket helped a lot though but advise packing some sleeping clothes perhaps. Although it says takes credit cards, it doesn't so just need to prepare by getting enough cash.
Hard to find it
Good value for money riad
Friendly staff, great riad at excellent price, not far the main square Good quality breakfast
Hard to find in the dark, you need clear instructions to give to the cab driver, best to arrive in the day
The staff was very nice...the breakfast very rich.....and the riad was lovely....
It is clean, friendly staff, breakfast OK ! nice house and nice atmosphere.
It was difficult to find, no signs and no name on the building. So you have to ask people !!!
Great location. Clean. Wi-Fi. Nice staff. Ok breakfast. Lovely house.
Nothing really - if anything the single room bed was a bit hard and the room could use a bedside lamp and some decoration.
