Riad Hala is located in the Batha district of Fez, and offers 6 Moorish style rooms and 2 suites overlooking the Medersa mosque in Morocco.
Score from 60 reviews Very good
This traditional Arab-Andalusian style riad is centrally located in the medina (historic quarter) of Fes. It offers spacious and air conditioned rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 159 reviews Wonderful
Set at the heart of the medina in Fès, this riad features a shaded rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city. A flat-screen TV is provided in each air-conditioned guest room.
Score from 142 reviews Wonderful
Set in a traditional, Moroccan house, Dar Labchara is located in Fès, just a 5-minute walk from the Madrasa Bou Inania.
Score from 131 reviews Very good
The staff was more than friendly. They were helpfull, responding to all of our demands. They care about the well-being of the customers. The guided tours we booked from the hotel were high quality. They can give you great advice and are always responsive to your needs. The riad is nicely decorated in a genuine maroccan style. The breakfast was very good and the service amazing.
I recommend booking a better quality room from their offer, because it's a great difference in terms of comfort. Also, the riad is located in the oposite side of the medina from the main gate (the blue gate) and you have to take this in consideration if you want to stay a little late in the medina (a taxi is recommended, finding your way through the medina to the hotel it's difficult). It's not the hotel's fault, but no taxi driver can find the riad by it's name or by it's address. I suggest telling them to take you to bab sidi boujida, which is a gate near to the hotel.
everything was good
we highly recommend their kitchen we had an extraordinary well made moroccon dinner at the patio, at a very good rate . Breakfast was fabulous... better than many 4 or 5 star hotels ( i travel very often in morocco and I think i have enough experience to compare) they picked up us ant fes entrance, and acompanied to the medina... otherwise it would have been very difficult to find this Riad Check the right tel number of Riad Jamai, because I think there was a mistake at booking.com data
no negative remark of the Riad only to mention the very poor visit guide service provided by a guide called Ahmed ?? (supplied through the Riad) a pity time wasted ... this guide was only interested in a football match at TV, and converted a visit of 3 hours into a rapid march through the medina ( one hour and half) , very poor explanations and only entrance to shops and bazars. He shouldn´t accept to guide us if he was so interested in the damned spanish football match
We recently stayed at the Riad for one week and the staff were absolutely brilliant throughout our stay. Our room was nice and cleaned daily. The Riad itself is beautiful and the terrace has fantastic views of Fes. The Riad is situated in the Andulusian Quarter which is about a 15/20 minute walk through narrow streets to the more touristed part of Fes el Bali. The walk is through a part of the city where there are not many tourists and so gives an insight into a less touristy part of town. We would recommend to family and friends!
The staff was extremely helpful and went out if there way to help also the Riad was gorgeous with attention to the tradition details
Difficult to find. Also the lighting in the room made it difficult to read anything.
