Room and bathroom a good size. Nice looking but
They forgot to collect us from the airport. Service was good when the staff were about but that was only for a few hours a day. No lock on bedroom doors. Would not stay again or recommend
It was a short walk from central marrakesh and was both a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere away from the hussle and bustle of the streets thourally enjoyed it I've left some negatives but it was truely a positive experiance and I've commented more as critisim that I hope they will take on board x
It was a bit stand offish with staff we would have used far more of the spA treatments if offered and it didn't feel comfortable to use the pool as no one spoke about it so a better communication and sales I would recomend asking as much as you can x and on our leave we were more than in a rush to the airport but staff were slow almost laid back and hindered our want for swiftness
- The riad is beautiful and we really liked our room as well. - Hassan, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. - The special shampoo in the bathroom smelled wonderful. - Breakfast was tasty, but the coffee was not very good. Just ask for tea!
- On the day we had to depart the early breakfast was a bit stressful, because the lady did not arrive on time.
Not far from the markets, quiet, cool, friendly staff, beautiful interieur
Water of the (very small) pool seemed somewhat muddy, no plug in the bathtub
The staff was very attentive and welcomed us with nice mint tea. We also had a great traditional dinner (lamb tagine) on our first night there. We had two rooms: the "outside" room facing the green area was large, light and had a nice view. Breakfast was fine; however, a little fruit (oranges) or yoghurt would have been nice. The terrace where breakfast is served is marvelous but a little cold at 08.30 in the morning.
The second room, an inside room facing the court yard, was dark and a little damp. In general, it was rather cold everywhere (we visited in December).
Riad Jnane Agdal was a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. We found it a perfect place to relax after walking around the busy Souks of Marrakech. At times I much preferred sitting by the pool in the lobby than being outside in the heat. The breakfast was very nice every morning with some of the best coffee I've ever had. Fatima and Directeur were very accommodating, friendly and helpful throughout our trip. They gave us great advice on what to do and see (and what not to do). They made our trip a Marrakech one to remember :)
We liked everything about the hotel!
