My only suggestion for improvement would be sun umbrellas on the roof terrace. I would have liked to have spent time up there reading, but there was no cover for the sun loungers, only for the tables and chairs. The bed was quite hard for me, my sons didn't mind at all, so perhaps it's just me!
Riad Kenzo is in an excellent location. Right in the heart of the medina, next to the souks. it is small, only 7 rooms. The staff were really kind and helpful, I couldn't fault their service, second to none. They arranged my transfers to and from the airport and sorted out excursions for us, so helpful. The were even happy to listen to my excited ramblings at the end of each day and give advice if I wasn't sure about stuff. The 'maid' service was brilliant, if we went out we would come back to a beautifully clean and tidy room. She even tidied away my sons' clothes that they had left all over the place! The air-conditioning was good. The breakfasts were lovely and filling; a mixture of breads, cakes, jams and pancakes with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and mint tea. There was a small plunge pool too. The Riad is beautifully decorated, very enchanting and was kept extremely clean and tidy, thanks again to the superb housekeeper. I would not hesitate in recommending this Riad. It is great value for money and we will definitely return here next time we go to Marrakech, which I hope will be soon.
marrakech is such an amazing city and Staying at this Riad made what could have been very stressful and overwhelming trip much easier.
