Really helpful staff, beautiful Riad in a good location.
I stayed in a number of Riad's in Marrakesh whilst there to shoot a movie and Ker Saada was by far my most pleasant experience. It's a very peaceful place with a great vibe and the owner, Omar was one of the nicest men I have ever met. I'm going to hark on about this place on the DVD extras of my movie 'Never let go'. We even shot scenes there (yellow room) and I dragged Omar in as an actor! Look out for the moviue, you'll see the room and the hall. Highly recommended!! Howard J Ford, Director
Great location, very friendly and helpful manager, and staffs. Also very nice breakfast and the Riad can organize day trip in good condition for same budget as the many unserious travel agents in the street. The riad is full of charm, and the ambience is just so lovely. We had a wonderful stay in Riad Ker Saada. Would like to go back again if we ever have chance to visit Marrakech in the future.
Would be nice to improve the better wifi signal for the 2nd floor of the rooms.
We have just come back from spending a week staying at Riad Ker Saada in Marrakech. Riad Ker Saada is located right in the heart of the medina only a very short walk from the main square, the palaces and other attractions. Although it is close to the main attractions the Riad is lovely, quiet and it is a good place to relax. The Riad is decorated beautifully throughout and has spectacular views from it's roof terrace. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, spacious and have air conditioning. The breakfast each day was delicious and very filling. The highlight though of staying at Riad Ker Saada is without a doubt the staff. All the staff at Riad Ker Saada are extremely friendly and helpful. Cherif is completely amazing. His kindness and helpfulness are out of this world. He will do anything to help you and his advice on things to see and do is fantastic. Cherif makes you feel like part of the family and the Riad to us definitely felt like a home. He can organise excursions and transport from and to the airport. I highly recommend doing this through Cherif. They are all very well priced and you will get to meet Hassan (the driver) who is a brilliant and very kind hearted man. Hassan is very talkative and tells you a lot about the local area and local customs and he is very helpful. We loved our stay at Riad ker Saada and would definitely recommend it. It is the best place to stay in Marrakech!!
The location is excellent. The staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond. The riad and rooms were lovely with a nice terrace, perfect for watching the sunset!
Cherif -- great host, very helpful, one of the best hoteliers around!
- The owner and staff were really nice and helpful. - The Riad's courtyard is really nice and quiet if someone wants to side's sine time reading a book or just relaxing. - The bed and pillows are comfortable, abd the sheets were clean. - There is a hammam right next doors, where one can negotiate a good deal on a bath/massage after a weary day in the heat.
-The location, although close to the medina, is a bit hidden and may be complicated to find for the first time. I would strongly recommend arranging a pick-up directly with the Riad especially if you're arriving late in the night like we did. - The bathrooms are a bit inconvenient. The shower stall has no curtains or soap dish at a convenient height. Also the bathroom and bedroom are departed by a partial wall causing all the sounds and smells to pass through (this may be a bit tricky after a typical Moroccan dinner at the Djamaa el'Fna square) - Not all rooms have a/c's so confirm before you book. The description on booking.com may be wrong for the room you want.
Easy to find with their map. Staff.
Shower was quite poor in our room. Other guests showers were fine? Better pillows.
My girlfriend & I stayed at Riad Ker Saada in April 2014. Cheriff who runs the Riad, is one of the most hospitable most kind people we have ever met. He made us feel so welcome and went out of his way to help us with anything. He actually helped us with arranging reservations with other hotels/ riads/ kasbahs in Morocco, hiring a car, recommending restaurants places of interest in the city and beyond. He arranged a pick up from the airport for us and walked us to the square to show us how to get there. Really I can not speak highly enough about Cherriff. Amazing Guy! Onto the Riad- The Riad is beautiful, has an authentic Moroccan feel, the rooms are great with en suite bathroom & shower, comfy double beds, warm water. Its quiet so you will get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was served up on the stunning roof terrace which has great views of the city and you can see the 4 mosque towers from it. You can hear the call to prayer in panaromic which is really evocative. It is a short walk from the main square which we found really important as orientating yourself in a city like Marrakesh can be difficult especially when you first arrive. Also there is a Spa next door which we used and had a nice massage in. There are so many places to choose from in Marrakesh, but I would highly recommend this one as it will make your stay in the city and the rest of Morocco a great experience. It's not a conventional ( boring, no charater) 5 star hotel- it's exactly the authentic Riad experience we were looking for.
Staff was excellent, the owner Sharif even gave us a tour around the neighborhood after our arrival.
Everything was perfect.
The riad is a few minutes away from the Medina square but in a very quiet Street, you can't hear the noise. The rooms are basic, clean, you get the authentic experience
it is Tricky to find , after a couple of days we managed not to get lost before getting there
Good and filly breakfast, but they could offer something bit more different daily...bit boring having the same stuff every day. The Wi-Fi connection was really bad, most of the times disconnected or with low reception.
Charif is a very gentle and hostile Ross-owner and make hou feel at home!! Great place to stay, and good location.
The breakfast was very good and typical. The house is very pretty and very well conserved and very silent, good to sleep. Omar is a good person and always ready to help you.
We didn't like the trip that Omar suggested to us. Maybe it is better to find out in a specialized place. The cab that he offered too was more expansive than local people use to pay - we payed for the confort, if you want to pay less, you should search about it.
It is a very nice riad, nicely decorated. Close to the main square but in a quiet street (which you might want after a day in Marrakech). The breakfast was very good.
Beautifully decorated, very friendly welcome with fresh squeezed orange juice/ tea or coffee. Very comfortable bed, gorgeous roof terrace. Quiet location as was in a closed Derb.
Everything - especially location and great food - breakfast and dinner
Minor point - perhaps put in a shower curtain
Exceptional riad - Omar is an incredible host - have booked to go back already!
Cherif, the owner, is very friendly and willing to give you any advice you need. Be sure to ask him about the value of thing you plan to buy, so you won't end up overspending. The riad is quiet, clean, and very close to the square. We enjoyed our stay at Ker Saada.
We stayed in the Mandarin-Anis room and it was lovely! Painted vaulted ceiling, pretty painted wood doors and bathroom cabinet. Two connecting rooms, one with a queen-ish bed and one with two twins, with a bathroom at the end. Everything was clean and well-kept, with shelves and hangers for clothing and hooks in the bathroom -- those little things that I appreciate when traveling with the family. We found it very, very quiet there, easy to sleep. Wi-fi fine. Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely - both the setting and the food (crepes, a sort of buckwheat pancake, jam & butter, coffee, tea, fresh orange juice; Morocco doesn't seem to be an eggs-for-breakfast place). Cherif was exceptionally helpful and kind, and the airport transfer he arranged for us worked just perfectly. He added the transfer cost to the bill at the end, so we didn't have to fumble for dirham when we first arrived, late at night and and were somewhat discombobulated. Speaking of which -- it was worth the cost of the airport transfer just to have someone lead the way through the labyrinth of streets to get to the riad! We're well-traveled, but it would have been a real challenge to find it ourselves at 11 pm. Overall, we felt that this was a wonderful value for the money and wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend to friends.
My only complaint was no shower curtain on the shower, which made it hard to keep the floor clean and dry. Otherwise, perfect for us!
it is incredible, how in 1 second you find yourself away from the noise of Marrakech in a very elegant quite world of Ker Saada riad. Still it is just few steps away from the main square. Great hospitality of the owner - he can give you good advise about Marrakech and Morocco if your continue your trip. Very nice family atmosphere throughout your stay.
The personal touch and willingness to help at anytime
Cherif the manager went out of his way to assist us, both with local sightseeing tips and with planning a trip to the Sahara desert. He is very knowledgeable and has a warm, gentle nature that was much appreciated. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We would definitely return here again and recommend it to friends.
