Score from 68 reviews Very good
Very warm and attentive but not overbearing staff that gave seamless service. The food was excellent and plentiful. The location provided an excellent base to explore the Medina.
The bed was too small, too hard and too low and the room was too dark for a mature couple to use efficently.
Furnishing, cleanliness, decor and traditional-feel; friendly and attentive staff; hearty breakfast
Riad and our room were amazing. Beautiful decor and clean wonderful showers and bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Dominique is reserved but arranged a good guide for us for the medina.
Great location in the Medina. Charming riad with stunning view and wonderful cook! Hospitable staff. Sensational traditional Morrocan interior. We want to go back.
Weak wifi in the room we had. OK outside the room.
Beautiful Riad, wonderful staff, the best food by far in Fes, and the owner who makes you feel totally at home. What more can you ask for? The hospitality was superb and we will definitely be back for our next visit to Fes.
A beautiful building, with very helpful and friendly staff. The food is delicious.
Be careful of the guides attached to the hotel. Ours spent the day trying to get us to buy things and then overcharged us. Make sure you agree a price in advance. Or better still, go without. The medina is perfectly safe and not too hard to navigate, if you stick to the main streets.
We stayed at the riad for 4 nights in November 2014. Although our French is not great the staff made a successful effort to communicate, which made us feel really welcome. Our experience was that the food served in the hotel is way better than in the other restaurants in the medina. Every day we were surprised by a different authentic Moroccan dish. The location of the riad is great for exploring the medina, both the touristic part as the less touristic areas with local markets. Also the riad itself is a site worth to explore! The building is ancient and nicely renovated, the rooms and the hallways are spacious and decorated in local fashion.
The building is stunning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Organised a great guide, Khlafa, who was educated, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Bed very hard!
Amazing food, wonderful people, beautiful decor. Good maps and advice, and if its your first time in the medina a great place to start exploring from as you start at the opposite end than most of the other tourists :)
Beautifully restored riad, roof deck where you can watch the sunset and sunrise, very friendly and helpful staff
Organized and flexible management, very friendly and helpful staff, lively atmosphere best food we had in Morocco.
The decor was less to my taste than some other roads I had stayed in.!. The location is difficult to get to or find without help . The beds although nicely fitted are not comfortable.
The riad overall was lovely and the food was great.
It was a bit noisy. I could hear the people above me moving all night long. Also, you could hear people early in the morning in the courtyard area.
Everything contributed to a wonderful stay, from the location, our suite, the decor, cleanliness, staff and meals. Riad Kettani is a haven of tranquility and the meals were superb and gave us a taste of Moroccan cuisine at its best.
The best Riad...
very majestic courtyard, friendly staff
cockroach in the top bedrooms due to the sun roof/ balcony area.I felt the room was to grand in decoration and less in comfort. The place is very quiet as the rooms are close together, not much privacy. If your located in the rooms on the ground floor, the lights from the communal diwan is disturbing. The guard dog is loud and rather scary
Gorgeously decorated. Welcomed by French owner herself. Good food and breakfast and well kept property. True Moroccan experience!
Hard to reach if you don't know medina.
It is a Luxury Riad in the Fes Medina. Staff and Owner are the best I ever met. Service is wonderful! I will defintly return to Riad Kettany on my next trip to Fes
The riad is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the meals are excellent. The staff is always eager to help in any way. The rooftop terrace is well appointed and provides a great view of the city. You can't beat the access to the old markets.
Finding the riad is challenging, as is parking. Washing one load of laundry cost $45 (375 DH).
it is a very nice Riad
Atmosphere, friendliness of staff, excellent dinner
Difficulty of finding
Excellent food and hospitality
Riad was very difficult to find, deep in the medina so location is not the best.
Evening meals excellent
Everything. Especially the happy, friendly personality of Latifa.
Staff was excellent. Very helpful and accomodating. The Hamam and Massage provided at the Riad is perfect. The terrace provides a scenic look on the Fez Medina.
THeir English could have been better.
Great location, just a little hard to find. Once inside, it was well with it. Great owner and staff. We felt very welcome..
