We spent 2 wonderful days at riad khadija, pretty much everything was perfect. Gorgeous riad in a convenient position, very nice staff, room with every comfort. We were stunned by the plentiful and tasty breakfast in the sunny terrace.
Staff very helpful with luggage and lot of information provided. The Shuttle service is more expensive than standard taxi rate (170 Dhr instead of 70 Dhr) but is highly recommended as the hotel is very difficult to find within the Medina labyrinth. Location at the heart of the city, close to main attractions.
Nothing in particular. Perhaps the room is poorly isolated from noises, but it's given the type of building ("ancient" door and windows built in local style).
Beautiful and charming Riad right in the heart of the Medina with 5 rooms which gives a cosy atmosphere. Very nice and friendly staff. We also got a really nice dinner on our first evening (you need to book in advance). The place is familiy run by a french couple and thez help you with anything you might come up with. Remember that its situated right in the middle of the Medina and there is no means to get a transport right to the door. However, talk to the guys from the Riad to organize transfer/transport. Breakfast is served on the roof-terrace (very charming).
Ambience Nearness to Jemma Cleanliness Staff Friendliness Owners Friendliness Room
All is impeccable at this Riad. The owners and the staff were extremely kind and they always tried to accommodate our request. The place is immaculate clean and furbished with very good taste and details. It is really worth it!
Very well-run, intimate and charming riad with authentic feel in excellent location in centre of Medina - a sanctuary amidst the bustling mania of the souks. Run by French couple who are very friendly, helpful and informative without being intrusive. Breakfast, on very attractive rooftop terrace, available as required without fuss - mine varied from 7.30am to 12.30pm. Most unusual.
Wifi is a little erratic due to the vagaries of the Moroccan Telecoms provider so obviously outside the hotel owners' control.
THE Riad has the atmosphere of à thousand and one night. Very romantic. The staf is very friendly and helpfull. Thank for a great stay
Simply put, there's no reason one should not stay in this lovely riad. Soon after the booking was made, we received a detailed mail from the riad owners with tons of suggestions and advice. Once we landed in Marrakech, we were picked up by cab they had arranged and taken to the place. Ihssan is a perfect gentleman who welcomed us with lovely cookies and mint tea. Right from the start he was quite particular about taking care of all our needs. Yves, who owns this riad was amazing as well. He gave us a detailed overview of Marrakech, the things to do and the things to avoid. The rooms are all quite lovely. We stayed in the Cinnamon Room, which was definitely perfect. We even had breakfast past midday one day, a facility you won't find in any hotel. With its perfect location (minutes from the main square) and affordable price, Riad Khadija is definitely the place to stay at when in Marrakech.
We especially liked just how welcoming and helpful the owners and staff were. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we were presented with a bottle of bubbly on ice. What a lovely gesture! The riad was beautiful, decorated with taste and spotlessly clean.
Location was superb 2 mins to souks. Very helpful staff. An oasis amoungst the mayhem of the souks! Very nice Riad with a lovely roof terrace in which to relax.
Nothing of significance.
Almost everything. Quality of service from owners and staff exceptional. Met from taxi and escorted to initially difficult to find location by Yves. Superbly relaxing roof terrace. Excellent breakfasts. Many thanks to Nathalie and Yves.
Noise from other guests having breakfast in the courtyard in the early morning.
Absolutely love Riad Khadija, felt like a princess. Also enjoyed my first hammam and Moroccan massage experience
The riad Khadija is small is that it has 5 rooms, but there is plenty of space. It's size means that you get lots of personal attention if you need or want it, but the staff is capable and if you do not want the attention, they know that as meet whatever needs you have.
I would have liked a shower rather than a tub. Other than that nit, no complaints whatsoever.
Nice small riad close to the sug. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
The location is very convenient for the centre of the Medina and the Souks. It is very quiet at night. The tented roof terrace is fantastic and a great place to have breakfast (which was lovely as well. The best thing, though, were the owners and staff who were all very friendly, helpful and really went the extra mile to make the holiday great. Thanks
Very little. If I'm picky the bed was a bit firm (for me) and the shower not very powerful (although the water was always hot).
First of all the staff was very vefriendly, very helpful, very polite and willing to serve as. The riad was very beautiful and the central Jamaa El Fna Square is only a 10 minute walk away. We have stayed in many hotels but no one wasn't like this. Thanks for all. You are the best!!!
Riad khadija happened to be the best hotel we stayed in Morocco. The buliding is beatiful with well kept rooms, little touches of Moroccan articrafts, great terrace, nice breakfast, decent wifi and extremely kind staff. We truly recommend this boutique hotel for your stay in Marrakesh.
The place is a bit hard to find, make sure to keep a google map of the location in your smartphone so it guides you right to the door.
Everything was just perfect !!
Great location within the medina, the room was very clean and the staff very pleasant and friendly!! Excellent!
They have very neatly decorated rooms with air conditioning and everything. It is an easy 10-15 minute walk to the main market plaza, with a great quietness conducive to rest. It is a pleasure to wake up to bird chirping sounds in the courtyard.
Everything is charged in Euro, which will make items like dinner and water more expensive than if you were to buy these in the Moroccan streets (which I recommend).
Lovely and spacious room. The owners were really helpful and nice, with many tips for our travel.
The boy at the reception was a (bad) joke. Not friendly at all when we arrived late and tired in the 1st night (the riad is tricky to find), leaving us outside late on the following day as he didn't hear the doorbell, taking lots of time to bring the breakfast... well, you name it. The location is a bit tricky too and the map is not the best.
I stayed at the riad khadija and it fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and accomodating. It was one of my best hotel stays ever.
The riad's staff is very friendly and helpful. When you need them or when you have to get something arranged, they are always there to help you and make the best of your journey in Marrakech. Even though you have to walk some narrow streets to reach the riad, the location is very good and near all activities and tourist attractions. The food is delicious as well and the rooms and the riad itself are very clean. This riad has all you need for a peaceful stay in Marrakech.
Me and my friend Denica had the pleasure to spend 3 nights at the riad where we were treated like princess. We were welcomed by Ihssan, a wonderful host who works there. The riad is owned by a French couple, Nathalie and Ives, who were both exquisite and went the extra mile to meet our needs. The rooms are cosy and Moroccan style decorated. I would definitely come back and recommend to my friends. The food was hand made and delicious. Many advises were given to be ready to face the souk! An amazing experience!!
Everything was perfect!
