I loved the style, everything was so gorgeous. The concierge was very helpful, the rooms are so cosy and the rooftop terrace was perfect for a sunbath. Plus: The Riad is very central and you can easily walk to the Souk or other attractions. I will definitely stay there again and will tell all my friends about it.

Staff were friendly. I had read some negative comments about the staff. We found them very informative until....(please see negative feedback) We booked a suite and clearly didn't get the room we booked. The one given to us had no bath and no balcony. These were the only reasons that I booked this riad. No explanation was offered as to why we were moved. It is possible that your photos just don't offer a a true depiction? I would not stay here again based on their dishonesty and failure to explain that the suite I had booked was not available.

The courtyard is very leafy and well decorated. The whole place is very luxurious and relaxing. The breakfast is great. Seems there's a link between this hotel and a very high end restaurant. Rather frustrating for us as we spent a lot on dinner as a result, as there didn't seem to be any cheaper options in this area. Also, very hard to find and ended up with a bit of hassle from some local guys on the way. Would have appreciated a bit more help from staff in dealing with this on our arrival.

Everything was gorgeous. The concierge was constantly on duty and attentive without being intrusive. He was always around to bring you coffee or tea or whatever you wanted. The accommodations were spectacular - stone rooms positioned like little boudoirs which also protected you from the strong Moroccan heat. The rooftop gardens were spectacular and you were a short cab ride away from Djema el Fna and a short walk from the medina. Leaving. I did not like leaving this riad at all.

We arrived at midnight and were welcomed by Hamid with mint tea and a homely, candle lit atmosphere. We liked the genuine Moroccan style of the place, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. After only a few days we felt like being at home. We surely will stay in the Riad Kohl again next time in Marrakech. There is not really anything we did not like, except maybe the sometimes well meant but "sleepy" breakfast service.

Very original Moroccan decor, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast on the roof terrace. Very romantic and traditional. We were really happy they picked us up from the airport and took us to the door of the hotel as otherwise it would have been hard to find.

We were completely charmed by Riad Khol and are looking forward to returning for a longer visit next time! After reading some negative reviews we were concerned, however once we arrived we truly could not imagine how anyone could not have loved the charming, down to earth, Moroccan-style accommodation and hospitality... The bedrooms are delightful, clean and beautifully decorated in a rustic fashion. It is true that they open towards a central courtyard, so if people are inadvertently chatting loudly you might hear this - however everyone staying there along with us, were polite and respectful of the intimate environment. Then there are the communal areas, that include the main terrace with the little plunge pool (a great mix of lounge and local music was played, so it was a wonderful place to relax and send emails with the free Wifi), a gorgeous little tea room, a breakfast courtyard and the most divine living room with a very welcoming open fire and sofas on the first floor. The roof terraces are expansive with lots of little nooks and crannies to hide away for a sunny breakfast or just to enjoy the spectacular views. The breakfast was simple and rustic, which was perfect for us as we headed out each day for our main meals. Lali, Hamid and the wonderful team looked after us so well, including finding and keeping safe two gold bracelets I left in my room... Riad Khol is down a couple of little walking only alley ways, however Lali, who spoke perfect English, was on the phone to us when we arrived at the airport and met our taxi on the main street to walk us to the Riad. We could not think of anything that we did not like about Riad Khol...thank you team...see you again soon!

A beautiful Riad with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were great, food was great. Definitely recommend getting the Riad to arrange the taxi for the first arrival. I think would be impossible to find unguided. Once found, it's fine.

We very much enjoyed Rhiad Kohl and all the staff. The breakfasts were very good and the evening meals made by Malika were excellent. Hamid could not have been more helpful and organised taxis and restaurants for us. Marrakech is a buzzing city and tourists are constantly being pushed to purchase. This in itself is not a surprise, but we were struck by the feeling that we were fair game for the locals. Make sure you have a detailed map with you and avoid asking for directions as you will be asked to pay and if you don't you may feel pressurised!

The friendly and helpful staff and the relaxed atmosphere, as well as the novel experience for us of the riad. We were assisted with booking restaurants and with directions, and the staff were always patient with our requests for dining arrangements, wine and tea. The location allowed easy access to the centre of the town, once we got used to the streets!

Staff service and help Assiatnce with Parking Finding the Riad using the Web based map was hopeless - the roads shown did not exist or were unmarked - it would be easier to identify the location based on the nearby Mosque - which is also the local taxi drop off - before the passages get too small for small cars

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. * the decoration is beautiful * spacious suite * loved hanging out at the terrace * the walls are not well insulated for noise (and the call to prayer wakes you up at 5am...)

We stayed at riad Khol for seven days. The staff welcomed us when er arrived, served us some mint tea and showed us around at the riad. Our suite was beatyfull with our own private terrace. The riad is just as beautifull as in the pictures. All together we had a wonderfull time and we really enjoyed this riad. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the moské near by and the loud praying each morning at 5.30 The typical marrocan breakfast is just made of sugar, which unfortunately made us feel quite bad in the start of the day

The staff were friendly and helpful (helping to find us an excellent restaurant for dinner, for example) and the riad itself is quite attractive once you are inside. Access to the hotel is awkward if you have luggage (five minutes walk in pedestrianised streets), the lighting of the public areas could be improved, and our bathroom had a blocked washbasin. Compared to the hotel (also in the Medina) that we had stayed in earlier that week, the price seemed high for the quality of accommodation and breakfast offered.
