In the heart of the Medina, this 17th-century riad is a 10-minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square and 650 ft from Ben Youssef Madrasa.

The staff are wonderful … very helpful, pleasant, and always making sure I had whatever I needed. The location is just a few minutes off of the main square, a short walk from the palaces in the southern part of the medina, and very close to the entrance to the souks. There was a variety of food to choose from at the breakfasts (although each day was the same … not really a problem). Wifi was also good when I was there in January. I had no problems video chatting with family back home.
I really do not have any complaints. As another reviewer pointed out, there are no exterior windows in the rooms, but it seems like that is how all the riads are set up. It provides for a quiet oasis from the hectic streets just outside. My room was not large, but it was similar to most European rooms I have had.
The whole experience was amazing
I disliked nothing
Nice terrace on the roof, where we hade breakfast in the sun, with fresh tangerine juice. The whirlpool on the terrace was also very nice.
High humidity in the room, so the towels hardly dried.
We stayed in the country a week in 5 raids and this was the best one! Lovely big room. We had atlas room downstairs so also had wifi in our room. Big shower and most comfy bed of the trip. Spa in the roof was wonderful and so was the harman and massage we had at the raid. Would recommend this.
The service is great, exceed my expectations
Too close to a Mosque, I wake up every morning at 6 am with the call for pray
Highly recommend anyone wanting to explore old town Marrakesh to stay here.
Everyone at Riad very obliging and helpful especially ordering taxi's And recommending restaurants.
Position of Riad a little daunting if you've never been there before as we were a group of ladies. But the riad did arrange a guide, although you do have to be quite assertive when dealing with the Taxis and guide otherwise they can be intimidating.
Franck was most helpful with information, currency exchange, restaurants, sight seeing. Locaton excellent to the square.
Frank treated us very nice and gave us a lot of great advice on restaurants, sight seeing, tipping, walking, etc. great advice for first time visitors to Marrakesh. Riad amenities were great.
Voices and noise from inner courtyard carry into room, but too bad. I bought a bottle of red wine and my wife and I drank it in the courtyard. We were by ourselves, but smoking is allowed in courtyard and my wife smoked a cigarette for the first time in years!
The location was close to Jemaa el Fna and the riad was clean. Abra, who was at the front desk some of the time was incredibly kind and helpful.
Our room was tiny. You could barely walk around the bed and could practically touch the bathroom, which was cramped itself, while on the bed. For the money and considering the size of other riads where we stayed, I think the room wasn't a good value. The riad is nice but is totally devoid of any character or personality. It's a bit corporate feeling. Wi-fi was incredibly spotty, both in the lobby and in the rooms.
Super place to stay. Wonderful staff. Delicious first night meal.
Great location. (Would have been good to know about the walk across the square to get to the Riad.) Lovely, helpful staff. Nice breakfast on the roof terrace.
Room felt a bit small and couldn't open window - so felt a bit claustrophobic initially.
Abla and her staff were top-class, professional, helpful and always with a smile on their faces. If we ever own a hotel ourselves (very unlikely) we will ask Abla to come and be our manageress!! The breakfast was plentiful and it was very pleasant to eat in the open-air on the terrace before it became too hot to sit outside. The meal on the first night was very nice. We only ate at the hotel on the first night, but this was only because we always eat somewhere different every day when on holiday. In fact, this was a mistake, as the food at the hotel was much better than anywhere else we tried in the square. Alcohol was hard to come-by in the medina but the red and rose wines available in the hotel were very nice. The local bus services are very cheap and quite easy to use. I, personally, wouldn't bother with taxis unless it is late at night or going completely out of town.
One small improvement I would suggest would be to provide a kettle and cups in the room. There is no need to provide coffee/tea etc as these can be easily bought.
The staff we're amazing a specially the hotel manager miss ABLA she there nat for work only , she is very gem ...she love to help you at any time no meters day or night! The guest satisfaction is priority for her and her Tim. That's why I got 2 rooms instead of one that because of my wrong booking, in middle of the night.... Thanks to all of them I see you soon.
I didn't like to comeback to London
location staff hotel clean & comfortable good value for money
Abla and all the staff were all genuinely attentive and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome and well cared for. The Riad was an oasis in midst of the busy medina. The roof top terrace for breakfast, relaxing and the hot tub all added to the pleasure of our stay. I would recommend anyone to stay at this Riad. It was a pleasure to be cared for by such friendly and well organised staff. We felt very much at home and relaxed during our stay - such a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the streets outside!.
We like everything about the Riad. The only minus point was been woken at 5.30 am every morning by the very loud call to prayer by the adjacent mosque, but that was no fault of the Riad.
Only yards from Djamaa el-Fnaa but located on a secluded little street and very quite once inside. The staff could not have been nicer and were happy to offer their help whenever they could. We aet on the roof terrace the first night and the food was excellent. Very reasonably prices given the standard of accommodation.
Bed was slightly hard but seems that's how beds are in Morocco. Not a big issue really.
the staff was really nice and helpful, we planned going to the desert and they easily arranged an early breakfast! the best words a tourist can listen is "pas de probléme!". the location is perfect just near the Plaza, an oasis in Marraquexe! we definetely advise you to stay there and experience it!breakfast is great!
The staff were so helpful .it was actually like being in your own home. The Riad was beautifully decorated attention to detail was very good . The Hammam and spa were outstanding . We ate there the first night on the roof terrace and the food was very good with a magical atmosphere. It was a five minute walk to the centre of the busy square but inside the Riad it was very quiet, peaceful and relaxed . A wonderful experience.
The only thing I can fault this Riad for is that breakfast was the same every morning ,but I have to say the food was delicious .
Excellent location. Staff all very friendly, lots of smiles. Modern and clean. Very hospitable. Tea and coffee offered or provided free whenever came in. Flowers in rooms. Safe useful.
From terrace drain aroma unpleasant at times!
Riad beautiful and the staff were helpful and extremely pleasant .
Spotlessly clean Riad just a minute's walk from the madness of Jemaa El Fna, yet tucked away enough to provide a serene haven. Welcoming, friendly, helpful staff providing excellent service and peace of mind. Quality room with comfortable bed, stylish and with an almost silent air conditioning. Relaxing, temperature controlled jacuzzi on a beautiful breakfast terrace.
Proximity of the Riad to the main attractions is excellent, it's right on the door step of Jemaa el Fna without all the madness of the Medina. The staff are so pleasent and accommodating they can't do enough for you, they arranged everything for us excursions, Hamman, transfers to airport and evening meals. Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay can't wait till we return.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Abla the manager was particularly accommodating - giving us a free upgrade to one of the suites and suggesting good sight-seeing options. Definitely recommend the Riad to anyone!
