As a solo traveller this was a great place to stay. I was met at the airport by a guy holding a Riad D'Arabesque sign and taken to the hotel. This made arriving in a foreign city stress-free and super easy. The hotel was really charming and in a fantastic, secure location; I was minutes from the Place Jamaa El Fna market. The hotel helped me organize two trips (Essaouira and Ouzoud Falls) and they both were fantastic - again I was fetched from the hotel and taken to the bus/tour group. The breakfast is amazing and there was plenty of it! I can't wait to eat Moroccan crepes again. I had read that wifi coverage was not very good in Marrakech but I had great coverage at the hotel both in the breakfast area and in my room. I absolutely recommend this hotel. The staff are fantastic! It is a great facility in a great location and at a great price. I couldnt have picked a better hotel. :)

The windows and doors are not very stable but you can only enter the hotel if you live there.
The people are very friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was also good and there is a very nice rooftop patio.

scooter riders in the narrow streets
no hassle from the locals.

There was a slight smell in the toilets but once aired for a little while it was ok. My husband found the toilet area quite right too.
We arranged an airport transfer which went smoothly. The rooms were clean and Zakaria and Anwer were brilliant, very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The kids had a fantastic stay and enjoyed looking at the tortoise and budgies! Great location 5 mins away from the main square. Breakfast was lovely and Anwer went out of his way to ensure we had a lovely breakfast on the day of our departure as it was quite early. I would definitely stay here again. Perfect for families.

Because the weather wasnt so great the bathroom was chilly in the mornings but water was lovely and hot. Only a portable oil filled radiator to heat room .. but it did do the job when left on all night. No tv channels in room but dvd worked fine and big flatscreen with satelite channels downstairs.
Friendly unobtrusive hosts and staff were not at all pushy but there when you needed them.Great central location. Riad organized transport from airport and a lovely meal on our arrival.. Room (Mogador suite) was upstairs and very quiet, cosy and comfortable for the 3 of us .. it was chilly and showery when we were there and lovely to have lots of thick cuddly blankets. Hairdryer provided on request. Great traditional plentiful breakfast. Plenty of hot water from shower. Lovely relaxed and peaceful atmosphere with no pretence..just what we wanted.

Very nice and welcoming hosts, great location, very nice place to stay in Marrakesch. Clean, quiet, family atmosphere, good wifi

Nothing negative about this Riad - it was a really lovely experience for my family. Christmas/New Year in Marrakech - beautiful sunshine in the day time but take your jackets for the evening!
The two Zakarias and Anwar were very hospitable and always willing to help or give advice. The riad is lovely and the room we stayed in (Mogador Suite) is comfortable for a family with 3 young children, althought the bathroom is now dated. The location is superb - just south of the main square and within walking distance of many sites. Lots of good restaurants (not just those in Lonely Planet!) in close proximity. Food at the Riad is excellent and served in large quantities but expect to pay more than the local restaurants.

No complaints. The one suggestion would be to add a few range extenders to improve wifi reception.
We had a great time at the Riad. It is an oasis of calm, just a stone's throw away from the Djemaa el Fnaa.

I can honestly say there was nothing to complain about. I cannot think of anything we didn't like.
Excellent location and the staff were fantastic. The room was clean and had heating for when the temperature dropped and the breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We had organised a transfer with the riad which worked really well and was excellent value.

We had booked a transfer from the airport, which didn't turn up. We had to negotiate taxis and a hectic maze like medina, with 3 children to find our accommodation. We had visited Marrakech previously, so we're not too worried about the geography of this, however, if it was your 1st visit to Marrakech, this could be quite daunting. The Riad was basic, mainly clean, but the bathroom really did smell of urine. I wouldn't stay here again because of this. The beds were hard, fine for us, as we were only stopping 1 night. As we were leaving early (7.45 am) we needed an early breakfast. The breakfast chef didn't start breakfast until 8.00am so all they could provide was juice, bread and yoghurt. Not a great breakfast if you were then travelling for 8 hours, as we were.
location was close to medina. Kids loved the baby tortoise. Staff were nice enough. Good value for money, 5 of us staying in 1 room (2 adults and 3 children) for about £100

Although slightly difficult to find the riad was well placed offering easy access to the main sites if Marrakech. The staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were comfortable and clean and above all, quiet.

Bed uncomfortable TV not working as well as DVD In need of renovation but I believe this is ongoing. Wine overpriced considering it could be bought for 5 euros and we were charged 15 euros - our fault for not asking the price first!
Location was excellent Very peaceful even though in the medina Evening meal excellent and also breakfast good. Very helpful staff

Nothing really! Was a great stay
Lovely staff. Beautiful relaxing courtyard area for night / breakfast. Rooms are decorated in authentic Moroccan style which is a treat for tourists. Great location to the main square and market streets. Felt very safe at night

No gripes at all
Manager Zakaria remarkably welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great breakfasts & lovely atmosphere. Riad is perfectly located within the medina, 5 minutes walk from famous Djemaa el Fna square. Very reasonably priced.

Nothing not to like!
Liked the friendly couple running the place

We did not have a phone to call from the parking to the Riad to get an escort to actually find the Riad. We should have arranged that in advance.
Owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. He oriented us to the city, arranged for the excursions we wanted and escorted us to locations for us to get our taxis. In short, he could not have been more helpful. He smoothed the way for us to have an excellent visit. The Riad itself was an island of calm and luxury, close to the main sights.

I have been there with a friend and we had a great time at the riad. Just few minutes walking from the main square but at the same time seems far away from the chaotic life of the Medina. It seems to get inside a real relaxing oasi! Nice staff, nice breakfast, and an amazing terrace on the roof of the riad.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. They really informed us about the surroundings and the local customs before getting around. They also made us feel at home in their Riad. The hotel was as beautiful as shown on the pictures. Perfect place in the middle of Medina and very quite inside. Very friendly for our three children (2, 4, and 6 years old). They had a bird and a small turtle that our childeren found fascinating.
