Excellent location and the staff were fantastic. The room was clean and had heating for when the temperature dropped and the breakfast was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We had organised a transfer with the riad which worked really well and was excellent value.
I can honestly say there was nothing to complain about. I cannot think of anything we didn't like.
Excellent staff - Anwar is very polite and helpful.
location was close to medina. Kids loved the baby tortoise. Staff were nice enough. Good value for money, 5 of us staying in 1 room (2 adults and 3 children) for about £100
We had booked a transfer from the airport, which didn't turn up. We had to negotiate taxis and a hectic maze like medina, with 3 children to find our accommodation. We had visited Marrakech previously, so we're not too worried about the geography of this, however, if it was your 1st visit to Marrakech, this could be quite daunting. The Riad was basic, mainly clean, but the bathroom really did smell of urine. I wouldn't stay here again because of this. The beds were hard, fine for us, as we were only stopping 1 night. As we were leaving early (7.45 am) we needed an early breakfast. The breakfast chef didn't start breakfast until 8.00am so all they could provide was juice, bread and yoghurt. Not a great breakfast if you were then travelling for 8 hours, as we were.
Although slightly difficult to find the riad was well placed offering easy access to the main sites if Marrakech. The staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were comfortable and clean and above all, quiet.
Location was excellent Very peaceful even though in the medina Evening meal excellent and also breakfast good. Very helpful staff
Bed uncomfortable TV not working as well as DVD In need of renovation but I believe this is ongoing. Wine overpriced considering it could be bought for 5 euros and we were charged 15 euros - our fault for not asking the price first!
Lovely staff. Beautiful relaxing courtyard area for night / breakfast. Rooms are decorated in authentic Moroccan style which is a treat for tourists. Great location to the main square and market streets. Felt very safe at night
Nothing really! Was a great stay
Manager Zakaria remarkably welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great breakfasts & lovely atmosphere. Riad is perfectly located within the medina, 5 minutes walk from famous Djemaa el Fna square. Very reasonably priced.
No gripes at all
Liked the friendly couple running the place
Nothing not to like!
Owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. He oriented us to the city, arranged for the excursions we wanted and escorted us to locations for us to get our taxis. In short, he could not have been more helpful. He smoothed the way for us to have an excellent visit. The Riad itself was an island of calm and luxury, close to the main sights.
We did not have a phone to call from the parking to the Riad to get an escort to actually find the Riad. We should have arranged that in advance.
The Staff Was excellent, very kind and always with a smile
I have been there with a friend and we had a great time at the riad. Just few minutes walking from the main square but at the same time seems far away from the chaotic life of the Medina. It seems to get inside a real relaxing oasi! Nice staff, nice breakfast, and an amazing terrace on the roof of the riad.
Very friendly and helpful personnel. They really informed us about the surroundings and the local customs before getting around. They also made us feel at home in their Riad. The hotel was as beautiful as shown on the pictures. Perfect place in the middle of Medina and very quite inside. Very friendly for our three children (2, 4, and 6 years old). They had a bird and a small turtle that our childeren found fascinating.
Only round the corner from the square.
We had a great stay at this Riad. The owner/manager was so helpful and all the staff friendly. The location is amazing for being within the old part of Marrakech, it's like going back in time. However, the Riad is quiet and comfortable, as well as very traditional Morrocan in style and decoration. HIghly recommended and great value for money.
Wonderful helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfasts. Lovely place and great location. We felt really at home there and we will definitely stay there again.
Slightly damp smell in our bathroom and having to go downstairs to pick up the Wi-Fi.
In Medina right in heart of it all and within walking distance of the famous world heritage square. Nothing too much trouble for staff - always very helpful.(even hung our washing on line upstairs.)Room kept beautifully clean. Linen and towels changed frequently.Good security. In a noisy Medina this was a remarkably quiet place to sleep.
Tours on offer in hotel could be got much cheaper in town(maybe negotiation is possible) 3% added to bill if paying by credit card.We avoided by getting cash from cash point.
The location is very central and strategically located. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The staff at the Riad were extremely helpful and hospitable which made the stay wonderful. The Riad is really close to most of the attractions in the town (Which really isn't a lot after a while). The main square is the main talk of the town and is a mere 5 min walk away from the Riad. I loved how it was so quiet inside - a real shelter from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and trust me, its something that you would want. We spent two days in the desert, but our host was extremely helpful in helping us to coordinate everything. He also arranged airport transfer, and personally walked us to the transport (Do get this as the roads have no signs, Googlemaps doesn't work and life is hell when trying to find stuff in the city) Lovely breakfast (table service) in the morning too, and it is the best way to start the day before you face the treachery and harassment outside. To be honest, the staff made a huge difference, and to have someone like that in Marrakech will save your life. Our host even connected our computers to large screen TVs in the common area for one of the nights so that we could enjoy our movie.
The rooms are slightly dark and get really cold in the day. But thats just the way the Riads are built. Showers are okay, but no curtain (Traditional like). Could be slightly cleaner, but for the price divided among three people, very acceptable
Excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful.
Perfect location, it is 2 minutes from 'La Place' and very close to the souk. Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with a variety of breads/pastry every day. Very safe and would definatly stay there again.
I can't think of anything not to like, also we paid £229 for 4 nights 3 adults. At that price I was prepare to find some negatif points but there wasn't any at all.
Roof terrace. Nice room. Excellent location in town. Friendly staff
Smell of sewer in the room and downstairs. Bathroom is small, cold shower. Breakfast is outside, cold in the morning.
very good location and quite setting
Very friendly staff, great location, nice rooms.
Breakfast was cold in the patio in winter, it would have been better on the terrace.
The location is very good, main sightseeing points are within walking distance. The staff were very helpful, providing information how we move around the area without get lost. Help my friend to send an important mail out of his computer while she has problem in logging in with the wifi. Breakfast was good and tasty.
There was a wooden decoration at the toilet door with part of it stick out. It hit our head many times when we get in and out of the toilet. The shower was not too strong. The wifi works well one day but totally not working another day.
Nice host, Nice location, Nice property
