Excellent food! Good location.
The staff - amazing food, great service and made us feel safe and at home Great location the room was clean, had free wifi and was serviced every day. perfect, though we had a room by the street so was a bit noisy. That comes with the territory We had an evening meal every other day and the cook/housekeeper is an incredible cook. When we had a meal outside, it didn't compare. She is a treasure.
The bed was too hard, but got used to it. Noisy as we had a room with windows - but can;t avoid that.
the staff is nice. they upgraded my room.
The bed is a bit noisy when i move
Lovely and clean riad, bit difficult to find at first- like most riads but once found the location was excellent. The rooftop terrace was lovely and a real suntrap. Breakfast was really good and very generous. Essaouira is a really lovely town to visit and the seafood was fantastic.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable and made a lot of noise every time you moved! Room was a little small.
Excellent central location, lovely hosts very helpful, lovely complimentary breakfast, beautiful bathroom, clean - excellent!
The room we booked for four adults was much too small, one double bed and two narrow short couch beds.
welcome drinks provided Staff were very friendly
bit noisy at night no English speaking staff
Location close to supratours and the souks. Easy to find off the main street. Helpful instructions before arrival. Delicious supper. Pretty terrace area.
Noisy with the window open as no air con. No soap.
suite was very nice, and the personal was amazing. Even though their english isnt perfect, but you can quite easilly communicate with them. They even prepared us breakfast at 6am while normally they dont do it that early.
it was wet in the room and cloths wasnt drying at all
Decor beautiful. Quiet and relaxing, secluded location in centre of medina. Great music! Friendly & welcoming host who sourced 2 CD's for me of music I'd heard and liked playing in riad. It has won awards and I'm not surprised! Felt like home and a welcome sanctuary. Nearby bakery where you can buy fresh baked baguettes for 1 dirham (7p!)
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, the bread was so warm and the coffee was really nice. The roof and its view were beautiful and comfortable. The location was very convenient (very close to Supratours bus terminal).
Staff were excellent
Superb location - 30 seconds from the main street Great breakfast Friendly owners Bedroom and bathroom were enormous. Incredible value for money!
A few more toiletries would be nice but this is nit picking!
Essaouria is very small - the riad is just located in an alley way off the main shopping street so its very convenient of walking around. However it is a very tricky place to find - I would ask them to meet you at the bus station on arrival. Harty breakfast very morning. WiFi works well in the rooms. Consistent hot water and good water pressure.
The bed and linens looked clean but over night we got serious mosquito bites! This was weird because we didn't think there were any mosquitoes and they were definitely not bed bugs. But I would wear a long shirt to sleep just in case. There is not staff at the road after hours - they only leave a contact number for you to call, this could be a safety concern for some people but we were OK.
The room was fine, breakfast too and the location as well, arrival was fine as well.
Apart from the arranged breakfast time there is nobody there and on our last day we had arranged to pick up our suitcases at a certain time, but nobody was there while the taxi driver was waiting at the other side of the city wall and we had a very stressfull leaving running to advise the taxi driver we could not get hold of our luggage.
First day there was a bad smell in the room coming out of the sewage pipes - but we fixed it by covering drains in the shower and sink.
Fairly quiet location even though in the heart of the medina. Nice roof terrace to have breakfast on. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
No windows to room which meant it was airless and fairly dark without the lights on, no windows to bathroom either. No sign for riad on the main road though there was for other riads in the same alleyway..
