I didn't stay long enough
Good location, near to the main square. Lovely staff. Place where you can feel real Morocco.
Lovely Riad, with friendly and helpful staff. The e-mailed a map of how to find the riad from the square, which was so usefull with landmarks to help find the way through the winding streets which all look very similar at first. There are hardly any road name signs so without the landmarks on the map it would've been hard to find, like most Riads I suspect. The tortoises in the courtyard were a nice novelty!
Shower head fixing in the bathroom was broken.
Perfect in every way for a visit to Marrakech.
I could only stay 1 night, had to go to work. 10 times the price but no soul.
We loved this hotel and it was great to stay someone with so much character in the center with two kids. location only 5 minute work to the square friendly staff could not do enough for you and our kids they loved finding where the resident tortoises were hiding and feeding them. amazing building roof terrace was a total sun trap and great views huge family room with curtains to separate the room into two bedrooms.
these are small things and in no way distracted from our great stay at this hotel . bathroom could do with maintenance to make it more usable and tidy for example shower needed a holder above the bath. no lock on our door so we could not let the children sleep in the kids beds as they were next to the door so the kids got the comfy double bed!
Feeding turtles in the courtyard, spacious sahara suite perfect for a family of four
Lack of protein for breakfast, we would grab hard boiled eggs and fruit the night before at Jmaa a fna.
Lovely Riad, very quiet and peaceful
Bit difficult to find, Not willing to provide breakfast before 8.30
10 out 10 in every way notting more to be said.
I love this Riad! The manager is very friendly and helpful. The Riad itself is a treasure, absolutely wonderful and clean. The rooftop is amazing to have a drink or chill a bit. The breakfast was delicious: fresh orange juice, msemen, tea, fresh jam and butter. There is nothing not to love about this Riad. The location is a bit hard to find at the beginning but we got used to it very quickly.
The location is fine, althought dificult to find.
The staff, specially the owner, are not friendly. The breakfast is insufficient and poor.
Location very tricky
The location is very good, walking distance to the main square and other touristic spots. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help you. The breakfast is very good.
The lighting in the bedroom and the bathroom was too low, really poor! It is really demanding that a shower at night. Oh, and still about the shower… The shower drain is clogged or blocked, I don’t know… So it’s impossible to let the water run for more then three minutes, otherwise the whole bathroom is going to get wet (it takes more than 30 minutes to the "stuck water" drains... Listen to the other guests: it is really, really, really difficult to find it. We got lost one night and were aggressively intimidated by locals trying to “help” and then asking for money. It was really annoying and kind of scaring… The road is close (5 to 10 min walk from the main square), it’s not easy to find (and get worst at night...). Bring the map offered by the road or try to drawn your own.
Central location, fantastic host, nice traditional Riad
Everyone says it, but it is very very difficult to find.
Said, the manager, was the most efficient and accommodating manager we encountered on our trip. He arranged tours, helped us with our luggage, called cabs for us and much more. The riad is beautiful and nicely decorated.
The riad is hidden within the labyrinthine streets of the medina. It was difficult to find every time we went out. I suggest signs strategically located from the main square to the door of the riad.
Very helpful staff
Hot water, in the shower/basin was only warm. No clear instructions on how one must approach the Riad, by car.
Large room for family. Made us a breakfast to go when we had to leave early. Great location.
The bed was getting a little tired.
The staff and decor were amazing
It is a journey through alleyways to get to the riad from the main square so being 2 females we felt a bit weary of going out at night
The atmosphere is good, the staff is very atentive an helpful. Good breakfast and plates , I ate a delicious tajine.
Difficult to find the riad into crazy medina streets.
beautifully decorated rooms, and courtyard, a very quiet spot even though its so close to the center.
The location is perfect, hard to find the first time, but once you get the directions right, its very close to Djam-el-fna. We recommend booking pickup from the airport, 20 euros well spend. We returned after a 4 day trip to the high atlas mountains, upon our return the hotel had upgraded us to the suite free of charge, lovely! Very sweet staff, and very cosy homely atmosphere.
There is no dislikes - the only thing that could be improved is the wifi. It works perfectly in the common room and at the breakfast arrangement, but the room we slept in was out of range (but that is ahrdly a problem....)
Zaid was really helpful
Tranquility and peace.
It's hard to find it if you come for the first time. In this case, be sure to contact the riad staff to pick you up, at least, at jemaa fna. Some bystanders offer you a help in exchange of money.
a beautiful riad situated in the heart of the Medina... enjoyed the rooftop with the view of the the beautiful mountains.
Very nice riad, close to the Jemaa el Fna square. Breakfast were sweet, but great and tasty, fresh orange juice, coffee or mint tea to it. In the night was quiet. The terrace is beautiful, provides opportunities for relaxation and a very nice view. Clean in the room very good. Staff very helpful, especially Mr. Said.
The location was very interesting - just in the middle of the medina and very close to the souk. The riad is extremely nicely decorated in Moroccan style , bath excellent Mr Said is a very nice and helpful person
breakfast was just "sweet", no cheese or omelette possible a little bit noisy
