Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized room, generous breakfast. 10 minute walk from the main square, signposted from the street.

Air conditioning didn't really work. There was a plunge pool but it didn't look very inviting.

This Riad was recommend to us by 2 people in our group of 7 who had a great time there 1 year ago when under different management. Unfortunately, our and their experience was completely different this time around. From the moment we arrived we had problems. The staff gave us inferior rooms to those which we had booked. They constantly harassed us during our stay and were extremely rude and threatening at times. We ended up leaving earlier than planned, something we have never done before. I strongly advise against booking this accommodation.

Although rooms were a bit scruffier than expected, the place had charm and the staff were very friendly, especially the manager Redouane, who was excellent.

The drunken Moroccans who latched on to our group as unwanted, unoffical guides. On arrival at the hotel, they demanded ridiculous sums for their unsollicited help and turned nasty when given a more reasonable amount. The hotel staff allowed them into the hotel and did nothing to get rid of them.

Staff was helpful, although not very professional.

Room was not clean, there is no privacy at all, beds are unconfortable, the Riad is incredibly hard to find, and there are tons of people willing to help but then asking for unreasonable amounts of money, while the staff is complacent of this behavior to the extent that they encourage clients to pay more money to the people that bring you to the hotel. Air conditioning doesn't really work, and the rooms (we had 2 different ones in our stay) had a disgusting bathroom smell (mostly because the bathroom has no ventilation at all). Terrible experience altogether, probably the worst place I have stayed in the past 10 years, we decided to leave earlier than what we had booked the rooms for, and the staff seem to not really care at all, and even charged us for a meal that they cooked without us even requesting it (and certainly not eating it).

Guy was overly helpful to start with.

Sent us to a different riad when we arrived. Apparently they all work together so even if you book this one you may be staying in a completely different one. Had to walk half hour with all our cases to new riad. We are mother and daughter and booked twin room and paid more for one. When we left he promised the new riad would be twin and it was a double bed. They didn't even have twins.

The staff. I found the staff to be very friendly and would go out of their way to help when available.

Breakfast was not great Noise travelled in the Hotel, found it very hard staying asleep. We were not given a key to the main door had to knock for someone to open, one time stood for 15 mins in the rain waiting. As i have previously mentioned noise travelled in the Hotel as all rooms are built around a central hall, other guests finding themselves locked out would be knocking and waking other guests. The door was once answered for me by a Spanish Lady staying in the Hotel as there was no staff present.

    The location was good.

No TV! I know I was there for a holiday but even in the poorest countries there's tv in every hotel room. No room service. no swimming pool although it said swimmin pool on the website, there was no such thing. Again no massage although it said on the website.. they did not do it in the hotel. Not worth the value of money!! Rip off !

Our hosts - lovely people. So friendly. Breakfasts were delicious as was the 'welcome tea' we received upon our arrival. Very well located and easy to get to souks and main square.

The riad was hard to find and down a few quiet alleyways. At night, this could be a little bit unnerving, but we never had any troubles. Everyone was friendly! Our bed was a little bit hard, but we also went for the budget deal so you get what you pay for!

It was easy to find as there were signs on the way to the riad. Good location. Great breakfast.

A bit too pricey. I've stayed at other riad as well that was way cheaper and no difference in the standard.

    Rien du tout. Nothing.

Riad Calèche gave me and my girlfriend the biggest hotel nightmare ever; we booked in advance for two nights but when we arrived "there was a double booking". Could happen, no big deal for us so we agreed to the offer of the manager to stay in another riad "of the same company for the same price". He guided us to this riad, after taking us with the car to a new parking lot which is NOT FREE as promised on the website (about 50 dirham / 5 euro). This new riad (Riad Atlas) looked very nice but instead of guiding us to our room, the staff bought themselves about 30 minutes time by giving us much tea, trying to hide the obvious fact that they had no more room. When I insisted on getting my room instead of getting another tea, they told me to “relax” and highlighted that “you are on holiday, relax!”. Eventually they gave us an improvised, unheated mini-room with no windows (the size of a big closet) with very bad sanitary equipment (only boiling water and the bathroom is separated from the room by a mere curtain). This struck us because we had booked a “Chambre Double Supérieure”. I agreed with the “manager” to bargain a better price the next day since we were to pay 98 euros for two days. He agreed but the next day, he was awaiting us in the lobby and insisted us to pay the full price for two nights instead for 110 euros (12 euros more) “because this is a more expensive riad – I’m sorry I didn’t tell you yesterday”. We got very angry because this soap opera seemed to never find its end. We were sick of this riad and decided to leave right away. He insisted on us to pay for the second night though. We refused anyhow to do that and after an hour of discussion and misunderstanding, we agreed on paying the full price of 45 euros. Why: he kept on saying that “the price for one night is 55 euros” but when we simply checked the website of this riad, it said that the most expensive room was 45 euros. So he was lying to us.

I had an amazing stay here! The staff were amazing and went out of the way to help. The Riad itself is centrally located, only ten minutes walk from the big square, and I never felt unsafe travelling as a single woman. I booked a trip through the Riad, and it went smoothly. I recommend booking the pick up service on arrival unless you have been there before, as it can be hard to find the first time. On my return I took the taxi to the airport, it leaves from the riad.
