Good value for price, very closed to all important sights, super helpful and friendly staaf
Had such a wonderful time staying at Riad la Croix. The staff were amazing and made us feel like part of the family. The Riad was a perfect escape from the hustle & bustle of Marrakech; being very close to the centre of the square whilst being far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep. The staff were hugely accommodating & were able to meet all our needs. They provided us with information about the city, a map & possible excursions. We had a wonderful stay at Riad la Croix and I hope to return and would recommend this Riad to anyone wishing to visit Marrakech!
location is perfect, staff extremely friendly and helpful, room is very nice and clean. everything about this place was brilliant and very good value for money.
wifi did not work (although i think this was just a temporary issue)
Love the staff. It was like staying at their home. It was a quiet little oasis off the busy medina. A perfect location!
The beds were a little hard and the wifi was intermittent.
very close to the Jemaa El Fna und La Koutoubia, 5 min walk; very friendly staff; we even got a full breakfast hat 4:30am; beautiful roof terrace
Super friendly and helpful staff Comfortable, clean rooms Centrally located (and, rarely, you can actually get out of the alley it's located in, so not the maze of the rest of the souk) Superb, relaxing roof terrace Small, welcoming
Like all Riads, can be noisy as rooms open onto the central well (take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper). Breakfast is simple but very basic.
This Riad has great hospitality and is full of character. Fantastic location close to markets, shops and restaurants etc. Lovely roof garden.
Be prepared for stairs!
The riad was very close to the main square, a couple of minutes to the souks yet it was so calm and tranquil inside. We had the room on the roof terrace so we weren't disturbed by anyone. I'd recommend asking to have that room if you haven't already booked it, you get the morning light and it's like having your own area completely.
I don't think I can falter the riad in any way. We booked to have a meal the first night we arrived as it was late evening and they just brought out 3 courses. No menu to choose from but that added to the experience and the food was lovely.
less than 5 min. (walking) from Jemaa el Fna, friendly staff can speak english, french and spanish, good moroocan breakfast
unable to connect to wifi in the upper rooms
We were treated like family Food was delicious Riad as comfortable as home Very beautiful
Great staff, they made us feel at home. The food was good, the beds were comfortable and it was a new experience.
The bathroom basin had no "S" bend or plug so the smell was pretty gross until I discovered folding a cloth a few times and wetting it to cover the plug hole did the trick. The alleys are a bit dark and scary for women at night. An official security person could be shared among a few of the Riads for late night returns.
Really nice riad. Only a couple of minutes walk from Djemaa el Fna square, right in the centre of the Medina. Staff were lovely. Really helpful and friendly. One of us was sick on the day we checked out and they allowed us to use an empty room to relax in before our later flight, very thoughtful.
Rustic, traditional charm. Wonderful, helpful, happy staff.
Nothing to dislike.
The Riad was beautiful top to bottom. Our room was very nice as was the roof terrace and the communal courtyard. The staff were all very nice and they did a brilliant breakfast. The location was great just a minute or two from the main square and all the hustle and bustle of the souks
Very nice riad, centrally located, very close to the main square. Staff very very friendly and helpfull, we enjoyed a lot talks with Abdul, who taught us a berber dance during one of the breakfasts :) The breakfast was very good, specially when eaten on a roof terrace by the good weather.
- very helpful and friendly staff - atmosphere
location, helpful staff
Truly the nicest place you could stay. The staff make you so welcome. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and to make your holiday the best it can be.
I have no negative comments to make.
The architecture of the riad is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very generous.
There was a bit of smell from the bathroom drainage and it would be nice to have a bracket to hold the shower over your head.
Great location. The Riad is maybe hard to locate, but I used the airport transfer service offered by the Riad and was lead all the way to the Riad. Staff was very helpful in booking trips/excursions and helped with the practicallities of getting on the trips.
Really nice and authentic atmopshere. Nice, smiling, and forthcoming staff.
All the staff were friendly and very willing to respond to all our enquiries. The location in the Medina is perfect.
There is nothing to dislike.
As this was our first time in Morocco the helpfulness of the staff was exemplary. The Riad is perfectly placed in the centre of the Medina a few paces from the main square. It seemed to possess everything a Riad is supposed to.
Room was quite small.
In the middle of the medina The real riad experience Nice staff who is really concerned about your well being Good breakfast
The medina of marrakech is very chaotic, many people, small streets, everyone wants something from you. Its a must do to walk through the streets and to have seen it. However, after 3 nights we were happy that we travveled on to the country site.
The friendly staff
sleeping on the groud floor: loudness ( telephone, doorbel, breakfast, etc)
