No outside windows in our room. Internal windows only. Thought it would be dingey but got used to it and all part of the authentic riad experience!
The location is right in the heart of the medina so you really feel involved. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and seemed happy. The building itself feels very authentic with lovely decoration and ambiance, especially in the main downstairs area with Moroccan tiling, fabrics, furniture etc. Wifi worked ok in our room most of the time. The breakfast was very fresh and again very Moroccan, consisting of fresh bread, creamy butter, olives, fruit, crepe / omelette, jams, fresh orange juice and good strong coffee. The whole riad was nice and cool with candles and scents placed around in the evenings. The hot tub on the roof terrace was a bonus and a very pleasant experience, costing 320 dirhams in total for 2 people, 1 hour, mint tea and two beers each :-) My other half was so impressed that she used it again the next day. Finding the place was tricky but only because the taxi driver gave us a completely bum steer. If we'd followed the map faithfully then we would have found it straight away, so use the map as chances are the taxi driver is just guessing!
