This beautiful riad was perfect for a short trip with my daughter. A short stroll from the madness of Djemaa El-Fna and the souks it was lovely to step back into the shady, calm of the riad . The hospitality of the staff and their wonderful mint tea made our trip.

The service was great! Enjoying the really nice breakfast on the rooftop balcony was a great way to start the day. Watching the sun setting over the city from the roof was one of the best moments of the day. The rooms are nice and clean. Even though the Riad is located close to the buisy center of town, it is really quiet when you are inside.

The riad currently is underconstruction.
The location is perfect to rest at the warmest hours and is imposible to get lost.

You get the feeling this place was wonderful 10-15 years ago, but it is a bit rundown now...
Great breakfast on the rooftop Big rooms Location: close to everything yet just outside the chaos of the medina (any taxi could take you there without getting lost)

Where do I start? The owner is currently doing renovations and it's like staying in a building site. Rubble was falling on us during breakfast. Mucky and damp rooms.
The staff were lovely and the location great.

Generally, I was very satisfied with this riad. The only problem I had was that the TV was not working. Heating was quite weak so sometimes it felt a bit cold, but I heard Moroccans themselves don't really have it. Oh, and asked the owner to provide an early breakfast. He assured I can have it, but it seems that the boy on duty simply overslept. No big deal, but I wanted to tip him. His service was good, otherwise.
First of all, this riad is very close to Jamma el Fna, located on a wide, well lit road. You will not feel uncomfortable going back there at night. Easy to find, too, unlike most other roads in the Medina. The riad is spacious, with large rooms. I especially liked the courtyard with two large trees and comfy sofas. Tea was free so I enjoyed sitting there sipping it while browsing the internet or just chatting to other guests. The owner is very friendly and eager to answer your questions on Marrakech or anything else. My room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable. It looked somewhat grim, but I guess that's traditional Maroccan style.

1) Building work on the roof 2) Cement dust 3) Damp walls in lower bedrooms/bathroom 4) Pushy owner and cold in breakfast area
Breakfast on the first day was acceptable, but inadequate and late on the second morning

Location; by walking less than 10 minutes from Djemaa al fna , cleaning , personnel hospitality and smiling, comfortable and rooms include private bathroom and toilet. Decoration is also better than others. Breakfast is really satisfying and it is more than we expected. Wi-fi free. Rooms and the riad are really oriental good decorated. You will be loved.

There was building work going on and this meant we couldn't sit outside as too dusty (I have asthma). Think we should have been advised if this before we confirmed booking. Although appreciate it's winter and it has to get done in the quieter months.
We loved the location handy for the hustle n bustle when you wanted it but quiet street. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was great to arrange travel to and from airport. If we wanted further excursions they could be arranged too. We had a smashing room with flat screen tv and a huge bathroom. Everything was kept spotless. Breakfast was also good

Two new suites are being installed on the roof terrace so it is a building site at the moment. This resulted in a lot of dust and noise during the day and limited access to the terrace. No hair-drier or free toiletries except one small piece of soap.
The staff were excellent. Internally it is a beautiful Riad full of traditional features but needs a fair bit of upgrading to reach its full potential.

A little cold and humid in the room. Would benefit from heating in the winter
Great location, beautiful Riad. The owner is very nice and helpful. Great breakfast

Its a nice place to stay, very silend.

Our bathroom wall leaked (I think as a result of them watering plants on the rooftop) which gave the bathroom a bit of a musty feel. Also we didn't get a tv with our room when it seemed every other room had one :( was no big deal though!
The riad was such a beautiful surprise! Set behind a massive wooden door, you walk into a cute little oasis. They have a rooftop which is decked out perfectly for chilling out. Our room was big, spacious and the bed was really comfy. Breakfast was delicious!

the price for the dinner which was really nice was ( so nothing to complain on the food) but even for eupean prices it was extremly hight. i belive almost 40 EUR for 2 pp. Just around the corner you get the same 15 EUR. We felt a liitle ripped off by the owner. So I would suggest you ask before you order or even better, just go out for food. A little minus is the bathrooms as they are a little old , but not at all to a point of interest. Just worth to say.
we were there for 4 Days and extremly surprised by the beauty of the house. For the value you would extect to make some compromises but not with this house. the owner did welcome us very friendly and the staff was very very friendly. the breakfast was simple but enought and was served when and where we wanted. Location ist perfect for a short trip as its in the middle of the city. I highly recommend the hotel. If you want to visit Marrakesh, please book this hotel you will love it.

We loved this Riad and there is not one thing we would change. The character of this hotel cannot be beat. The staff and owner are genuinely the nicest and sweetest people we have met. The breakfast was amazing and the mint tea was delicious. We missed our outgoing flight and the owner did everything he could to make the transition to the two additional days great! We hope to go back every year.
