The location is perfect. It is close to Jemaa el-Fnaa and other main attractions such as Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said museum. There are some restaurants and food shops nearby. With a map it is not difficult to find the hotel, as it is located at the end of the dead end street. The hotel also offers the transport from the airport, which may help. The Riad itself is beautifully decorated in somewhat minimalistic and Moroccan style. Zahra room was clean and cozy. It is most likely the only room that has the windows to the street, but it is calm during the night. Considering the hustle in the streets of medina the Riad is still very peaceful and so it is a good place to relax. The breakfasts were great and various. They can be enjoyed on the beautiful roof terrace. We also had the dinner in the Riad. It consisted of three courses of local cuisine, all of them delicious. Some of the staff actually speak English (besides French). Special thanks to Omar for his kindness and services. Overall it is probably the best place to stay in Marrakech, at least for this price.
Since the Riad is located in the heart of medina, it may happen that you will be woken up early in the morning by the muezzins. But isn't it the reason you come to Marrakech? :-)
We received imediate response from the manager who lived in france, via email, in english, when our upgraded room had a broken douche. And it was fixed in one day.
Nobody talked english only french, the room was dusty, the shower was broken, there was no map, we couldnt use the phone for reservations, they accept kinds under 2 year old, wich can be a problem if your in a three room riad, with no noise proof windows.
Best Place to stay in Marrakech! The Riad is beautiful and the rooms spacious and furnished tastefully. Raschid and Attika take great care of their guests, they make a great breakfast which you can enjoy on the beautiful roofterrasse and cook tea when you come back from an exhausting Day in the souks. We really love this Place and come back soon :-)
The Riad is very well decorated, clean with a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was a delight. It is a very peacefull and quiet place where you can relax from the hustle of the streets.
Very beautiful, peaceful riad in a quiet part of the medina. Great staff, special thanks to Omar for his kindness and help.
