Riad Le Calife

The Riad was beautiful and very well done. The rooms had everything you need. The owner was very nice and helpful. All staff were great. Breakfast was really good. The terrace had an amazing view.

The internet did not work very well in the hotel. The signal was not strong. The price for the room was high for being in a third world country.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice location close to the ancient medina, wonderful location, extremely tidy and clean, excellent cuisine.

Alex & Yasmine greeted us warmly on our arrival, and the reception did not vary throughout our 4 days there. They were very helpful with tips on restaurants, guides and transport. The breakfasts were delightful, on the roof overlooking the Medina; and Abdullahali & Moustapha catered for our every need. The courtyard was a cool relief from the 30 degrees outside; and drinks & mint tea were a pleasant way to relax. Our room, Aimbre, was large enough with a well designed bathroom. The massage was well received; the all day guide well worthwhile but dont buy anything from the ceramic factory nor the carpet man. Alex & Yasmine should be congratulated on establishing a fine place to stay.

Tiny complaints; some shelves and better lighting for reading. But the Riad should still receive a 9.8 - 9.9 score.

The owners were very hospitable and spoke very good English. They were most helpful and providing local information and ensured we were provided a full breakfast even though our departure on the last day was very early.

The owners were very nice and quite helpful. The staff was also very good. The location, terrace views and food were all excellent. Dinner was a bit pricy, but was really gourmet.

Of four stays in riads throughout Morocco, the best was this, our last. It does all the right things--genuinely kind and welcoming service, great facilities including two separate bars, great rooms and a stellar view onto old Fes. Alex and Yasmine were by far the most gracious and genuinely kind hosts among outstanding management at other riads in Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat. Location is outstanding--being outside the maze of the medina but within walking distance to a nearby entrance is highly recommended. The Fes medina is not for the meek, making Marrakech seem like Disneyland. Great food and drink. And Alex has wired up the place with just the right bits of technology for comfort. And yes, the wait staff wear fezzes.

Yasmine and Alex are superb hosts who were warm and friendly. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. We loved our room and the location of the Riad was fantastic.

Beautifully decorated rooms and hotel. Incredible patio and breakfast there. An oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling medina. Excellente service by hotel staff.

旧市街の中にある隠れ家的なリアド。オーナーはとてもフレンドリーでいろいろ教えてくれる。ホテルの上から- はフェズの旧市街が一望できる。ホテル自体がモロッコ調で統一され、とてもエキゾチックな雰囲気の中、快適- に滞在できる。翌日、朝食の時間前に出発しなければならなかったが、簡単な朝食を袋に入れて渡してくれた。- そんな気遣いがあたたかいお勧めのホテル。

el trato de jazmin y alexande, los gerentes del riad, el hotel es un antiguo riad recien reformado q cuenta con todas las comodidades modernas,internet gratis con un netbook n la zona de bar, desde la terraza las vistas son espectaculares, t puedes relajar mientras t tomas un te.es un poco mas caro q otros, pero la calidad y atencion con otros riads merece la pena pagarlo y evitarse sorpresas, la localizacion es perfecta, estas a dos pasos de la plaza del riaf, centro d la medina, y muy cerca d donde t dejan los taxis, yo contrate los transfer, 150dh, para ahorrarme tener q regatear cn taxistas, y tb xq staba esperandonos el mozo dl hotel para indicarnos el camino y ayudarnos cn las maletas. Sin duda lo recomendaria 100. Compare muchos riads y sin duda este es el mejor.seguro repetire.
