While they say breakfast is available between 8 and 10, we experienced a bit of a wait (say 30-45 minutes) before the cook arrived to prepare a simple buffet of Moroccan pancakes, jam, coffee, yogurt, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, and cake.
First off, great location in the heart of the Medina, yet easy enough to find your way in and out of. Once you find your way, only about 10-12 minutes by foot to Djemaa el-Fna. Like many other riads, it's a quiet escape from the bustle of the medina.
Second, the staff was incredibly helpful, with the manager Bashir offering to help our friends purchase their bus tickets and them preparing a pot of coffee for our early (6am) departure.
Lastly, it was a great value as a lovely, cozy, quaint riad, with a relaxing rooftop terrace. There's certainly fancier riads out there, but le coq Berbere was more than comfortable for us for two nights.
