Score from 28 reviews Wonderful
Riad Khol is in the heart of Marrakech’s old Medina, a 10 minute walk from Jamaâ el Fna Square and has a panoramic terrace overlooking the Medina and Atlas Mountains.
Score from 352 reviews Very good
Located a 15-minute walk from both Jemaâ El Fna Square and from the Majorelle Gardens, Riad Dar El Aila features a swimming pool, a terrace with views of the Medina and the Atlas mountains, and a...

Featuring an indoor swimming pool, a terrace and a patio, Riad Kalinka Lotus offers typical Moroccan decoration in Marrakesh.
Score from 46 reviews Excellent
excellent room very helpful staff very authentic feel
we walked everywhere with no hint of a problem, but you could see some finding the location a little 'too off the beaten track'... nothing a cheap taxi wouldn't deal with, however.
A great place to stay, good location, pleasant staff, great roof garden
My room smelt a bit musty. WiFi a bit hit and miss in the room, better in the communal areas
Outstanding service Relaxing atmosphere Excellent Dinner Being in a hotel with 3 staff members for 9 rooms feels like having your own butler! Amazing.
The location is scary. Nothing happened but it feels dangerous. Taxis from and to the hotel are recommended.
We had a lovely stay at Riad Le Jardin d'Abdou. We received exceptional service from the staff Abdel, Marwan and Karim. They were very friendly and organised all our day trips out of Marrakech and provided great recommendations. Our dinners at the riad were really good. The riad is conveniently located about 15 mins walk away from the square, which is the heart of Marrakech.
The wifi coverage is limited to the ground floor with little or no signal in the top floor, probably could extend the network coverage.
very clean and rooms were spacious. nice ambiance and offered wine at an affordable price
not enough staff, wanted to check out early and have breakfast in the morning but only one staff member was up at 7 am so had to skip the free breakfast
Parking near riad. Very clean and peaceful location. Beautiful architecture, nice roortop terrace . Great hospitality.
I would highly recommend Le Jardin d'Abdou - a beautiful Riad near the old city wall, just a 10 minute walk into the square, the latter part being through the souk (although it always took us much longer than 10 minutes as we were tempted by the bargains!!). The accommodation and staff were second to none, attentive without being intrusive. Excellent value for money. I would happily return for a second visit.
Nothing - everything exceeded my expectations.
Ambiance, decor and service.
Can recommend this Riad. We enjoy our stay because the staff were wonderful and the place was very clean.
Staff very helpful and very good location. Had an amazing stay.
Loved the renovated building in itself, decor and landscaping. Pleasant, pleasing staff. Great rooftop dining experience. Wonderful overall experience.
Breakfast was only breads, griddle cakes, jams, and fruit juice; all grain and sugar carbs, no protein at all. From earlier postings, I thought we'd be offered more nutritious yogurt as well. I was looking forward to swimming until I noticed the pool bottom was algae filled.
I wanted to stay in a traditional Moroccan riad that was clean and peaceful. Not an ideal walk to jamaa fna square, but away from all the noise, hustle and bustle of Marrakesh's entertainment square. A beautiful place to stay with friendly staff and delicious breakfast.
Really friendly staff, great peaceful location, comfortable rooms, great roof toop terrace
The room was spacious and perfectly clean. The breakfast was correct and the staff nice and helpful.
Terrible location if you want to go to the square walking, you will probably get lost.
Food, ambience, friendliness of the staff, massage, breakfast on the roof terrace, helpfulness of the staff, scent within the Riad was beautiful .... I am a very fussy guest at hotels - this place is a gem!
Riad Le Jardin d'Abdou exceeded our expectations and we'd recommend to anyone wanting to experience Marrakesh. The short walk to the Souks and main square allows you to experience more than just the tourist areas. 5 star hospitality from the hotel staff, great food and very relaxing atmosphere.
No real negatives apart from weak wifi signal. But leave your ipads at home and enjoy some time off.
The location was fantastic, the food in their restaurant was lovely, staff were friendly.
A little noisy at night time from noise on the street
The riad is a beautiful and very clean hotel and the staff was very kind.
The breakfast is very disappointing. No fruits at all, no protein apart from milk. They serve only bread, jelly and milk/tea. Every day, was pretty much the same. The prices are appointed in euros, but when checking out, we had to pay with dirhams (which was not a problem). Although, is the manager who stablishes the value of the currency for the day, which was higher than other places... With their currency, the value of the riad increased and we were charged much more than we expected. It's a quite tricky thing that we didn't appreciate at all.
Great Staff! Spoke: English, Spanish, French, Arabic and many dialects thereof. The hotel was immaculately clean and well-kept! Never imagined such a great hotel for such a low-price. Never been happier with a last-minute hotel! Breakfast AND dinner was included in the price which always help to defer cost. Will definitely return and will stay for longer next time!
The hotel was located outside of the established "interior" of the city. Although we walked to the hotel from the city centre we soon came to prefer the 5-minute cab ride. However, despite the location being a little further away from the city centre the price and overall experience of the hotel far outweigh this one factor.
The staff are wonderfully helpful, efficient and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful with a wonderful pool in the courtyard to enjoy. It is also on the edge of the Medina, with easy access to all the main attractions but also accessible by car so no need to worry about finding your way home at night! The decor is delicate and clean with great furnishings and all the necessary amenities.
The only thing I could fault would be the breakfast which was limited to yoghurt and various types of pancakes and bread. Would have loved some eggs or even some fruit to start the day off with a healthier breakfast.
I liked everything about this lovely riad - the peace and quiet away from the hustle & bustle, sweet and helpful staff and the wonderful room. The riad is not located in the centre of the Medina, but that suited us well and it's not far to walk. I will try to stay here again when I go back!
No wi-fi in the room, but the common areas are lovely to sit in so really doesn't matter.
A beautiful, traditional riad, which is everything you think it will be and a little bit more. The central courtyard is so pretty and the overall experience is enhanced by the warm and welcoming staff. We dined on the evening we stayed and the food was a perfect end to a perfect day.
It is not the easiest place to find!
it's very clean, NO noise whatsoever, and friendly staff.
the hotel offered us a pick-up from the airport (20 euro) which we gladly accepted. However, they had forgotten to arrange it and no taxi driver showed up. We didn't really mind though, since there were plenty of taxi's available at the airport of course - and cheaper than the hotel had offered us.
Beautiful Riad. Comfortable bed and nice room and ensuite. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff.
The Riad was extremely clean! It was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and are always available to assist with anything. I would definitely reccomend it.
There is nowhere around the riad to eat. We had to take a taxi or walk very far if we wanted food that was not from the riad. The Riad sells food but it is really expensive compared to the price of food in Marrakech. The breakfast was good but there was no fruits or meat. It was only breaded items with juice, tea, and coffee.
