Riad Teranga lies in the heart of the Marrakech medina (historic quarter) across from the Sidi ben Slimane fountain. It offers air-conditioned accommodations and a sun roomon the Riad terrace.
Score from 12 reviews Wonderful
Lovely roof terrace to sit on and soak up the sun. About 15 min walk from JemaÁ but nice not to be so close to the hectic center. Staff were so kind, friendly and really helped us a lot in particular Hassan who attended to our every need. Little things like bringing us a complimentary coffee in the afternoon while we were on the roof terrace to washing our strawberrys we had bought from a small stall and putting them in a bowl for us and carrying our heavy luggage for us. It's great value for money, very pretty mosaic work on the interior and the breakfast was worthy of 5 star including fresh juice, coffee, freshly made pancakes and cakes and other Moroccan breads as well as cut up fresh fruit.
We had asked for our rooms to be next to eachother but the first night we spent on separate floors. They switched our rooms on day 2 though. Also one shower holder was broken but when we mentioned it they fixed it on the same day.
The owner of the riad was really nice guy and he helped us everytime we needed. thanx
For the price, it was pretty good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Although it was right near the medina and hidden in a busy alleyway, it was pretty quite and relaxing.
Pretty hard to find. Located in a small alley way and can be quite scary if you are walking alone at night.
Great place, nice people, extremely clean hotel. Maybe cleanest in Morocco ;)
Big room and bathroom
-the place is nice if you can find it, but it was like sleeping in a bar and we like a good bar but this one was just not cozy. Although the breakfast was like all the other continental ones we had in marocco, for cutting and squeezing the chef was moving hell and earth in the kitchen. Even though hurricanes are not so common in marrocco, the marocain gets hit every day early in the morning! So nights are short but the breakfast makes everything better if they do not take your plate before finishing..
Staff and service- very good.
Impossible to find this place without the help of "guides".
I have nothing good to say about this Riad. When we arrived at the Riad the owner wouldn't answer the door and pretended not to be in. We called the number and heard it ring on the inside, and he answered. He then informed us that he had given our room away and hung up.
Nice interior Stuff seems nice
- wifi works just in public zone -they asked us to pay for tee which supposed to be free and which we did not ask - very cold and dark in room and there were no enough blankets -during 3 days our room was not clean -there was no even soap in the bathroom -we had some problems with hot water -stuff mostly don't speak English -breakfast just one pancake and coffe
