The location it's perfect, very closed to the square. We can't speak french and there was just Mohammed can speak english, so when he was out, was difficult to communicate with the staff. We were in the room on the terrace, beautiful but really small, there was enought space just for the bed, (we were keeping our luggages outside the room). The bathroom was clean and not bed. Air condition works well. Breakfast it's perfect, some home made yogurt and cakes..bread with butter, jam or honey..coffee..milk..and a delicious orange juice!

The room was really too small and my boyfriend (1.85 m tall) can barely stand in the room cause the roof was too short. And..wifi cannot reach our room on the terrace, we had to go downstairs for use the connection. Could be a small thing but..there was no water in the fountain in the hall, such a pity!

Rooms are very basic, even though the pictures suggest otherwise. Bathroom is tiny and uncomfortable, Staff were not very friendly, especially the female staff. Some are very offish!!! Riad was very very difficult to find, and no good directions were provided to us beforehand - we ended up paying Euro 30 to various people to help us find the place - it is very very difficult to find, so be careful if you decide to book!!! Masonry was falling off the façade in the riad - the place is not in good condition.

Basic but clean, very relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the chaotic world outside. Staff were exceptional, couldn't do enough and always smiling. Great location, right in the heart of everything.

Very good location, in old medina. Staff was exeptionally friendly and helpful. Totally worth staying in. I suggest taking transport with them from the airport, as riad may be difficult to find for the first time.

    Location, staff, atmosphere

Breakfast, tea wasn't offered but supplied when asked for. Beakfast. Bread was horrible french stick, many hotels do this, which we don't understand when the local bread is so delicious.

Loved the location, being right in the middle of the key attractions. The ambiance, food, rooms and price are excellent. As a family of five we have to rent two rooms so we enjoyed the low rate. The riad is easy to find, safe, homey, charmingly decorated and very clean. The staff (Mohammed is a gem) at the riad are exceptional in every way. Kind, considerate, helpful and informative.

It was a bit cold in the evenings and morning, as is typical for this type of traditional building - and highly desirable in the heat of summer! Though the staff are helpful, visitors should know that they have to ask for things, like to eat your meal, as they'll wait for you to ask before serving. We didn't realize this and waited 30 minutes to be served! My sons found there was limited hot water, but this wasn't an issue for early risers like me! Due to the thick walls, the wifi only works in the central area (which is cosy, so a minor complaint).

Experience was really excellent. The place is clean and close to the city center and we have to give thanks for each of Mohammed and Zahara, who were very kindness and assistance. We are very grateful to the administration. Amir & Haifa

Four girls in their 30s travelled to Marrakesh for 3 nights, we had a quad room. It was perfect, big bathroom & 4 beds :-). Wifi was free but hard to get in the room but we just had to walk out to the balcony to pick it up! Location wise we were 2 kind to Bahia palace, 10mins to the main square. Breakfast was yoghurt, bread & jam, pancakes & a sweet cake. Enough to keep us going till lunch time. Water was hot & beds comfy!

The fact I couldn't speak French - so communication was hard at times with staff but they were lovely & we all got by! May need lessons.

The place was really nice and characterful. Muhammad was an excellent host, polite, helpful and speaks very good English. The place is a real value for money.

The place was rather difficult to find, there should be more signs with the directions

lovely quiet Riad in the crazy medina. Good plumbing & AC which is rare in the old town. Nice comfy beds too. Staff very welcoming

Entrance door needs to be lit up at night as it is a fairly dark alley. current light either not working or not used. Cleaning staff very loud talkers spoiling the tranquillity. Evening meal too expensive

Mohammed (Manager) was a polite and friendly young man. He was excellent answering questions & ensuring the stay was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The room cosy and clean. Great value.

Probably best very specific instructions are given on how to get from taxi car park on foot to hotel. It's not far but Marrakech streets are narrow & difficult to navigate.
