Offering a rooftop terrace and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, this traditional riad is located just over 0.3 miles from Jamaâ El Fna Square. The Majorelle Gardens are 1.5 miles from the riad.
Score from 385 reviews Excellent
Located in Marrakech, Dar Binebine offers accommodation sitting in a garden with a patio with seating area and views of the medina. It offers traditional Moroccan architecture and a Berber Tent.
Score from 123 reviews Wonderful
Situated at the heart of the famous Marrakesh Medina, near the souks (markets) and a short ride from the Jemaa El Fna, this attractive house has been restored respecting Moroccan traditions.
Score from 74 reviews Excellent
The (Green) room is very beautiful with a big bed and a nice bathroom. The rooms and the Riad are very beautiful traditionally decorated. The most beautfiul Riad of our 2 week journey. The breakfast is nice. And the owners are very friendly and helpful.
Location of the Riad is pretty far from the Jemaa El Fna square. aprox. 20 min walk.
The riad inside is a beautiful traditional moroccian place. Cristina was wery friendly and helpful. She gave us good advices to look around the city, and served fine breakfast and dinner.
The riad is in the old, poor and dirty part of the medina, so in the evening better to take a taxi.
Really nice and professional owners of Riad.Big thanks to Kerstin for excellent breakfast including in price.Good standard of bathroom, really clean towels and nice patio inside Riad. Highly recommend for all, who would like to taste a little bit of Moroccan flavor.
As for majority of Riads there is a challenge to find them in Medina for the first time without any help. Then it seems to be piece of cake :) :) :)
Beautiful large room (the green room). Really Moroccan in style. Location just inside the Medina wall made it very easy to navigate. Tips to handle unwanted contact by strangers provided by Cristina the hostess. Good bathroom with lots of character. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Good coffee with breakfast. Great day trip to Atlas mountain s organised through the Riad. Got up at 4am with a smile to take me to the airport. Beautiful Moroccan rugs and decor everywhere. Good hospitality not overdone or intrusive.
Some difficulty in communicating due to my limited French and owners limited English, however we managed okay.
Great place run by great people. Truly an oasis.
Beautiful facility, and very caring and helpful hosts - I had all information and support I needed. Kirsten gave recommendations on what to visit, showed places on the map, helped with all matters that I needed for traveling. Also, very good 'value for money option'
Although location is very usefully near the exit from Medina, it is (for the same reason) is furthest away to get to the center of it. But guess it is a fair tradeoff
The host served us great mint tea every day. The place is very comfortable, with a nice roof. The red room is excellent, with a large bathroom. Very quiet, a good oasis inside the crazy medina. Lastly, ideal for those who would like to hire a car, as you can park it just outside the wall, near to the Riad.
Wifi is weak in the room.
Very helpful and accommodating owners, perfectly located between the new town and the Place Jemma Al Fna (souks), all of which are within easy walking distance. The Riad itself was beautiful, the breakfast area was airy, bedroom was air conditioned and very comfortable and the roof terrace was great for relaxing in the sun. Kirsten is amazing, just ask her for anything and she'll be happy to help.
Nothing but the WiFi signal, but what do you expect from a well built traditional building.
What a warm welcome to Marrakech. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Riad owner greeted us, me and my sister outside the hotel where the taxi driver took us and he leaded us to the Riad where his wife Kirsten welcomed us with a Moroccan tea, she kindly asked if we would like to have dinner. She provided us Marrakech map, showed how to get to the places we wanted to see, how to bargain, do's and don'ts. It was very helpful. Food, staff, facilities were very good. Marrakech was a great experience and we will return. Highly recommend.
Beautiful riad, spacious room with an enormous bathroom, more security than any other road we stayed at: double lock on our door, and safe in the room. Very helpful owner couple: they arranged a hammam for us, Kristina walked us to a restaurant when we arrived, and made us breakfast early on the day we departed.
Location is conveniently close to the walls of the medina and the main taxi station, but a bit far from the Jemaa el Fna place and most of the restaurants. Bathroom could be more practical, no stand for the shower head.
The riad is very beautiful, and in my opinion its position is very good, 30 min walk to djeema el fna, and very close to one of the medina gates. The breakfast is good, the room we chose very charming! I recommend it.
Wifi very feeble, almost impossible to get it in the room.
Katrin qas a wonderful host, we were made to feel really welcome from the start and breakfast was ace. Our room was really nice and comfortable. Right by the wall of the medina, great location for getting taxis and a nice walk through the souks to the square. Would certainly stay here again!
Would of loved a pool, but we did know there wasn't one when we booked. That wasn't an issue for us though. Everything else was perfect for us!
I strongly recommend this Riad to stay in Marrakech. Wonderful staff taking care of us for whatever we needed anytime. The room was big and clean. Good location, 20 minutes away from Jeema el Fna Place, but near to the Medina walls and the Nouvelle Ville.
We had a great stay, it was alovely space to unwind and escap ed the chaos of the medina, we would stay again.
Riad Losra, situated on the border of the medina, is a perfect starting point to discover Marrakech. Kerstin and Farid are very helpful and hospitable. Pickup service from the airport for a fair price, excellent breakfast and rooms right out the stories of 'One thousand and one nights'. Ideal roof terrace with stunning view over Marrakech. On walking distance from the regional bus terminal, where you can hop on the bus to, for instance, Assouaira, Asni or Imlil. On the other hand: Farid can also arrange a reasonable prized rent-a-car.
There are not many restaurants in the direct surroundings.
The location is perfect, just 20min away from the Place. The Riad is beautiful, there is a roof where you can relax and enjoy the view. The owners of the Riad, Farid and Kerstin are very kind, especially Kerstin. She prepared a very nice breakfast everyday and her mint tea was the best in Marrakech!
The owners are very gentle and professionals. The riad is well decorated and they serve a good breakfast. The room was perfect and clean. Totally recommended.
We were supposed to pay with credit card but the last five minutes they informed us that the machine was broken. So we had to run in order to go to the bank and then to the airport. But ok... These things can happen.
I was there with my sister and we liked everything. Riad owners Kerstin and Farid were very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, bahtroom with hot water. Amazing and big breakfast. The riad was easy to find. I just can recommend this Riad to everybody who wants nice accomodation in Marrakech.
Kerstin was very helpful. The Riad is beautiful. The breakfast was nice. We will definitely come back once.
The parking is not free, as indicated on booking.com, but it costs only about 20 dirham per day.
Staff are very welcoming and make you feel like your home. they took good care of us. Christine was amazing with her hospitality. Breakfast was great.. it was a home.
Location was a bit difficult but once you know the area its not a problem. Not all facilities are available.
The owners are very nice. We have been stayed 4 hotels so far in Morocco, and this is the best. Clean and pretty room and easy to reach once you have got there. We greatly appreciate their warm hospitality
Nothing, but be careful out side the riad. The limping man with the bike call you about 200m away from the riad saying he just finished his work at Riad Losra. He takes you expensive gift shop where far away from the medina!
Owners were wonderful and welcoming and Cristina always available and offered mint tea each time you returned from exploring the medina! We stayed in the green room on the ground floor and it was beautiful, large and amazing decor. Breakfast was excellent and served between 8am-11am
This riad felt very much like a home ( rather than a hotel). The owners were very kind and helpful and Losra was a great out of the way retreat from the chaos of Marrakech. Decorations were tasteful and authentic feeling. Value for money.
Not much really, it was all very good.
The owners of the riad were very helpful and kind. Our room was very clean and cosy, nicely decorated.I would definitely recommend this riad.
The only thing that we didn't like was that you could only smoke in the terrace where you couldn't get any wi-fi signal
The riad was very nice and clean, with warm hosts. You can feel the morrocon lifestyle. Breakfast was also fine.
The location would be a small problem, caused by the messy entrance in the medina (the riad is located near one entry gate in the Medina, called Bab Yakout, which is very dirty). It is not the hotel's fault, but it is something that you see every day. Anyway, you can take the taxi to the center of the medina, for about 2-4 euros.
