Marrakesh is beautiful city. The people were very friendly and polite, they do not bother you, very well mannered. You have to use your bargaining skills when buying from the Souk. It was very clean.

I feel like my last review didn’t adequately show my appreciation for the how lively Riad Safar is. It could not be more beautiful, it was quiet and I slept really well. The roof top with the small pool was wonderful and all of the staff were so kind. The architectural details were stunning, the tile fountain and central courtyard is a true gem, the curated art was spectacular and the two very young kittens without momma were so cute. We lived our stay there!

The best tip I can give about visiting Marrakech: stay in the medina. The rest of the city is lovely but the bustle, colour and life in the old city is beyond compare. Bring your most comfortable walking shoes, (and buy some more in the souks!), prepare to get lost a lot, and don’t be afraid to haggle if you want something. Marrakech is truly a feast for the senses, but there are pockets of quiet and tranquillity throughout. And don’t forget to leave plenty of room in your luggage allowance, you’ll be leaving with bags of treasure. For sightseeing, Bahia Palace and Ibn Yusuf Madrasa are two must-sees and for sheer chaos and exuberance, Jmaa el Fnaa is spectacular, especially after dark.

Stunning city!
Stunning city! The colours, the energy, the madness on the streets made it all so unique. Night time was a party every day!! These people are really fun!! :) There is so much to see!! I stayed for 4 days but definitely could have stayed longer. Next time!! Even then, I managed one day up in the mountains and one day in the desert. What a contrast!!
Marrakesh I love you!!!

Oh goodness; where to start.
Oh goodness; where to start. We had visited Marrakesh approximately 8 years ago and whilst it was busy in the medina and souks we could get around without the constant parade of motorbikes and scooters. They are ridden fast and aggressively, giving off huge amounts of exhaust fumes and noise!!
I had gone back with a view to buying lots of beautiful things to sell in my shop; I did not purchase one thing!!! Their loss!!
We visited 2 beautiful palaces and the Majourelle Gardens; we ate some lovely food, but would we go back?? NO........
There are other cities in Morocco and we will be going there instead!!

The Medina is all the madness you would expect - brilliant, it does put you off browsing a little when your hassled which is almost a shame for the shop owners. That said, the horror stories I heard didn't materialise, either ignore the hawkers of just a firm "no" and they don't hassle any more. We hired a tour guide with was worth it from a a tour point of view/ taking pics/ "i want to see"/ general understanding of the city. This felt money well spent.
I am 100% going back and I really want to see the modern Marrakech next!
Location is great for exploring the Medina. The staff is amazing, super kind and available for every request. Breakfast is amazing: Moroccan crepe, bread, eggs, delicious jam, fresh fruit. I suggest to book the transfer from the airport directly with the riad, in order to avoid taxi drivers and people on foot that will bother you as soon as you get to the city. The owner also booked us a tour to the desert, the price was cheaper than the tours they sell in the Medina and the hotels we stayed were luxury quality. Perfect!
The decor was traditional but also luxurious and chic. The staff was like family to us almost immediately. They care about their guests more than any place I’ve ever stayed before. They truly will make your trip. Abdel in particular, the manager, will be texting you constantly and making sure you are experiencing Morocco to the fullest. Even after I left he continued to help me with my trip. The rooms were so comfortable, clean, and stylish. My ultimate favorite hotel I’ve stayed at.
The service was attentive, timely and on point. The staff were all charming and easy to get along with. Best of all, there was always someone on duty to help us out. We had dinner twice on the rooftop terrace and loved it. The cooking was awesome. The design of the place was lovely and comfortable, housekeeping, excellent. All in all, this was the best stop in a long string of hotels in Spain and Morocco. I highly recommend this lovely riad.
We have very pleasant time in the hotel during December 2023. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very hospitable, as you wouldn’t expect less from 5 start hotel like the Movenpick. I would mention the restaurant staff for the great reception and service, particularly Ms. Bahija who was very helpful everyday during breakfast times. My overall stay experience of the Movenpick hotel is Exceptional.
Excellent trip we booked two rooms for our family. Every thing was above expectation Reception staff specially Samir was well trained professional . We used most of the hotel facilities including pool, breakfast , restaurant, room service, shuttle service, they were all up to professional standard. Our experience staying in this hotel was 5 stars specially my children like it very much
A very warm welcome. very friendly staff and owner.
The grounds and swimming pool are beautiful, taken care off by a team of gardeners who also anticipate guest's needs ... as I was on a lounger, one gardener brought over a cushion for my head to rest on. This is the sort of service you get in 5 star hotels.
The breakfast was particularly good.
Everything!!! Best hotel during our stay in Morocco. Wish we had more time to spend there. Outstanding staff, decor, beauty, location, breakfast. Can’t say enough about this place. There were rose petals scattered in the rooms and fresh fruit available in each room. It was entering a room in heaven. Very clean, bathrooms amazing.
If you want to feel the authenticity of Marrakech instead of living in an anonymous hotel far from the city centre, this is clearly the best choice. 20 minutes’ walk from most of the sightseeing, 10 minutes from souks. Michel is a nice host, really helpful with a pocket full of interesting stories about Marrakech and Morocco.
Anas made my whole trip. His friendly personality and great energy made my whole stay enjoyable. His ability to go above and beyond was incredible. His tips and advances made Morocco easy to navigate. I would return to this riat only for Anas's hospitality. Thank you again Anas, I really enjoyed my time in Marrakesh.
One of the best booking i got on this app to be honest i went to hiltons and countly other 5 star hotels accomodations but the vibe and the good spirit this guys and girls have is speciaal the late night talks everythinf was just perfect may allah give them more rizak and increase their baraka in their work
The best staff anywhere in morocco! They were so kind and helpful which is so important in marrakesh since it’s a crazy city and you need help Lol. The room was small and cozy and comfortable. We had a fireplace! I loved this road and can’t recommend it enough!
The staff made the hotel the best part of my stay in Morocco, we stayed at a “5 star” for 6 days and only two days to be closer to the centre at Tempoo honestly even though Tempoo has less facilities and is slightly on the old side the experience was the best
BCK Art Riad.... where we stayed in Marrakesh, Morocco

We had an amazing experience. The staff was phenomenal and highly professional. My family had a good time and we plan to return. We visited couple all inclusive hotels in Marakesh and this one is the best. Thank you for the amazing experience! Bravo
Lovely hotel! Very family friendly and the all inclusive aspect is extremely generous. The shuttle bus to the centre was great too. The staff were incredible and really great with kids. We had a lovely time. Would highly recommend!
I liked everything, especially the staff! I had never been in Morocco before and was not sure what to expect. The hotel was wonderful. I will be sure to book it again the next time I visit Marrakesh! Merci beaucoup!
