A traditional riad with beautiful decoration. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served whenever we woke up and were given a lift to the sights and airport for a very good price.

Great location. Friendly staff. Wonderful comfortable communal spaces with traditional moroccan sofas.

Beds were a bit wobbly. Choose a room with a window opening to the outside. Those facing into the courtyard are hot.

This small hotel is a real oasis of tranquility inside the medina.. However, it is only possible to get there on foot. A nice terrace is available on the roof. The staff is friendly and helpful.

    - very small rooms; - WiFi works ephemerally; - credit cards not accepted (wrong informations while booking); - poor breakfasts; - noisy patio by night or early morning.

Staff: Available, flexible (we got there at 9 am and they were more than happy to prepare the rooms for us, without early check-in charges). Facilities: As soon as you come in, you feel submerged in the Moroccan culture. Cleanliness: No complaints. Value for money: overall we were satisfied with what we paid for. WiFi: worked well in our room.

Comfort: The bed wasn't awesome, we would wake up very often at night just because of the noise it made. Location: Too far from the main places you would want to visit, going to the Riad for half an hour in the middle of the day to use the bathroom (or whatever) was not an option. Breakfast: Bellow average.

    Clean and good situated riad.

Terrible stuff, breakfast is terrible too. very small rooms, some without windows. I'm Do not promote for nothing to stay in this riad. Jeigu galite nuomokites kur nors kitur nes cia sukciai ir apgavikai.

The Riad was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. We had the privilege to experience moroccan life and its people.

The location is not safe if you need to walk back to the riad at night, specially if you are a woman.

glad we arranged pick up with riad, otherwise we would have been lost in the dark. dinner was ok, breakfast was very good with slightly different things each morning. there is no fixed time for breakfast which was a plus. staff are very helpful and kind. rooms are clean every day, even folded up all our clothes laying around :) . very good value.

the place is a bit dark. but you can request meals in the terrace in the sun.

Friendly staff- they would love to make each guest happy but almost impossible if there are no facilities to do so. They had the greatest intentions. Great location. Decor would be great if it were kept well with a clean and tidy and dust and just general upkeep.

No hot water in the mornings. Terrace needs a tidy and clean especially if you're having breakfast there in the mornings. Poor lighting in rooms unless you like being in soft focus all the time. We had to request an extra lamp in our rooms just so we can get ready for evenings out. Roof was not open which made the riad very cold day and night, when not was very warm outside.

Had a fantastic time at this Riad. The staff were lovely, and funny characters. Extremely helpful with whatever we needed, and the breakfast was served whatever time, wherever we wanted it! Rooms were clean, shower was hot. Little bit of a walk to the centre, which we actually enjoyed instead of being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Would absolutely recommend.

My girlfriend and I were staying at Riad Mahjouba and we were truly touched by the hospitality of the staff. After touring Morocco for the better part of the week, we concluded that we ate the best and tastiest food in Morocco at Riad Mahjouba. I have no complaints about this place, our stay was simply amazing and I can heartily recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation, good care and great food in Marrakech!

Nice riad, friendly staff, good location (just inside Medina), delicious breakfast.

There could be any directions to riad near the gate of Medina, because are many "guides" in this area. Not enough hot water, they turn off even cold water at night.

Everything.. the place was well decorated and maintained. When any issues came up, they fixed it right away. The fresh and warm breakfast was served every morning... The staffs were very nice, especially, the manager Saad was wonderful. Because of our visit was during holiday season, we had a hard time to rent a car. Saad called all his contacts and found one for us. How nice,, Thank you so much for your help, Saad.

    Nothing..

The location, inside the Medina, even though it's quite far away from the main square (count 15 minutes on foot if you know your way inside the streets of the market). The price, which is okay for what you get and for the pleasure of enjoying the nice building, even though I had the constant feeling they were trying to get more money out of me (e.g. by making mistakes in calculating the prices). If they want more money, they could simply ask a little bit more, which would be still fair, and avoid that attitude, which I find offending and not representative of the good manners in Marrakech. Be advised that you might end up giving them a little bit more out of pity, while letting them believe that they were much smarter than you.

Beware: if you receive a mail from the hotel offering the possibility to get transportation from the airport DO NOT take it. The driver will be late and it will cost you more than any taxi. If you are afraid to not find the hotel, just buy a SIM card at the airport to get Internet connection (10 euro for 10 days) and use Google maps. If you rent a room in winter, make sure they do not give you the room number 5. It's the one facing the street, and -beside hearing all noises in the night-it will be VERY cold. You will be told that you have heating system in the room, but that's not true: it's a cooling system for summer time and they know it (that's why that room is the only one that gets additional blankets). Wifi is not working in every room, but if you got a SIM card at the airport, that should not be an issue.

The team, the location, the typical moroccan atmosphere.

And this is just for winter time, but it was very cold and it was not really possible to enjoy the space without a warm winter jacket. Also for breakfast. The roof terrace was full with laundry (spead all over the place) and the chairs were broken. Again that might only be the case during the winter season.

The staff was very friendly and the riad is beautiful. In general, the place was great, but besides the following positive comments, there were several small things that in a whole will cause us to probably choose somewhere else next time. I hope they take in consideration the negative comments as constructive criticism and things they should improve, as they prevented us from really enjoying our stay. The following was great: a) We were welcomed at riad and did the check in comfortably in the lounge, where we got a map and very clear directions on how to go everywhere. b) The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. They even helped us coordinate our taxi pick up calling and talking directly with the contact we had. c) They were having a party (ny eve) and invited us for it.

Despite the positive comments, there were unfortunately many little things that prevent us to say our experience was great... I write them here as constructive criticism. a) We are used to being given the final price by booking, whereas in this case we had to pay 14€ extra in taxes. These were actually in the booking email we received, but we weren't surely the only ones not to see it because, the manager asked to see the e-mail before telling us the price (so that he could point to where it was indicated). b)The bathroom shower wasn't working well. At first it didn't work. Then it didn't stop. The solution found was to shut off the water and fix it after we leave. However, that meant we couldn't even use the toilet anymore and a clean toilet in Marrakesh is priceless. c)The booking said the checkout was until 14h30, but in loco we were said 12h. We came back at 11h15, to find our room open - with our stuff still there - the bed unmade and the towels gone. This I think was the worst and the easiest to solve. d) In Marrakesh, where orange juice is 4dh in the mainsquare and mint tea is everywhere, we were disappointed not to get these in our breakfast. Instead we got package orange juice and coffee. The staff was however friendly enough to provide mint tea after we requested.

The staff was excellent and really took care of us. Beautiful hotel, and in a good location about 15 minutes away from the main plaza.

The hotel was definitely overpriced for what we got, there were many other riads around the main plaza that were almost half the price. Beautiful hotel and great staff but maybe not completely worth it for the price.

I loved the welcoming feeling of the Riad and the staff were very helpful - as the other reviews say the manager seemed more friend like than a staff member.

The roof terrace seemed closed and we felt a bit awkward going up for a look.

From the moment we arrived at the airport the staff were soooo lovely, made us feel right at home. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace every morning, every turn we were surrounded gorgeous traditional decor. Just a 5 minute walk to the Souks and 15 minute walk to Djemaa el-Fnaa square and market place. Perfect location for us away from the hussle and bustle of the main square, really peacefull.

The only criticism was that the (four poster) bed was rather squeaky and the mattress a tad hard. But this is me being extra picky.
