Breakfast on the terrace is really fantastic. We reserved two nights initially but ended up staying for six. It's right next to the big square in the middle of the old city. The water pressure is low in the shower, but all three of us got a hot shower every day. Wifi strongest in the lobby. Good value for the price.
Everything was perfect. Abdhul was a great host
staff breakfast on the terrace
bathroom (problems with the water)
Mr. Mounir was the best, he gave all the tips on how to explore the medina and Marrakech. He also arranged the tours to both the desert and waterfalls and early breakfast when we ended it. The room is ok, comfortable, we had hot water at anytime and other amenities. The air con is quite strong and coped with the over 40C heat outside, we asked him to move the bed as the wind blow was comi straight on our faces and it was promptly done. Definitely recommend the riad.
Nothing about the riad but the medina. Although the riad is in an excellent location get ready to get out of the door and people won't let you alone offering stuff to buy (even though they see you all the time), beggars and so on. We know how Marrakech is but eventually you get pissed.
Close to the center. Very nice people received us.
Hard to find, they should explain in the description how to get there more easily. They should also add a sign to the begging of the alleyway so you know where to turn. Its the third on the right when you're coming from the main square. Apart from this: nothing to complain about!
Mounir was very helpful, providing us with advice about the attractions we should visit.
The room had an air conditioner but for some strange reason, it would always turn off in the middle of the night and I wouldnt be able to turn it back on. Additionally, the gully trap was clogged which caused the shower to clog every time we used it.
Stuff Design Location
Riad Maissoun was a great choice - perfect location, beautiful yard and terrace and comfortable double room. Very quiet as there were not so many guests. Definitely value for money. The staff is very friendly, helpful and serves complimentary tea often. Would definitely come back.
Somewhat lacking English, breakfast could have been better - orange juice had a very strange scent, wifi was not very strong in the room and in the terrace, also not very easy to find the first time.
Loved the friendly staff and how accommodating they were, the location is perfect good value for money, warm showers every day. We had a blast and would recommend staying at this Riad.
The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. The location was just 2 minutes off the central square.
The shower was disappointing as the hot water ran out rather quickly.
This staff was very helpful and the location was excellent, the riad it self is quite basic but good value for money.
Excellent location right in the medina near the square Djemaa el-Fna, nice interior, friendly and helpful staff.
Very hard to find a hotel.
Nice Riad, very close to the square and main mosque, excellent, kind and respectful staff
Little bit more scruffy than other Riads we have stayed in. The owners should invest a little in decent door handles, doors, plugs, etc. Location appears a bit downmarket for those unused to Marrakesh.
Graet place Very Nice stuff
Location, cleanness. The rest is not great, but it good!
The room is not very large, the sink was clogged, but still a good hotel.
Deliciuous breakfast, friendly staff
central location, friendly staff, good price for value, nice area, quiet street, big room
difficult to find the riad (the name is not indicated on the front door), hot water in the shower came only after +- 10 minutes flowing
Location, quietness, price, rooftop view, breakfast
Shower head was broken, limited hot water, no cleaning staff
Good place, good prices. Close to Djema el Fna (2 minutes). Clean rooms, complete breakfast in an excellent terrasse. I definetely recommend this place. The location is really good. There is no problem to go from the square to the riad at night, because the path is easy and populated by tourists. We chose this place because it was the cheapest "double room with bathroom + breakfast" 5 minutes around the square in booking.com. And we got what we expected.
Hot water one night out of two.(January)
breakfast on roof w amazing view. helpful staff. breakfast is quite alright, good amount too. overall good value for price.
the walls in the riad are practically made of paper, so it might make couples self conscious. This takes its toll on bathroom privacy as well. the riad is practically impossble to find without 'help' from locals. the water in the shower doesnt get too warm, no comforter on the bed but multiple covers on top of each other, which can get uncomfortable and a bit chilly in january
everything was good, nice hotel and staff
everything was good
- great service english speaking - less than 5 min walk to main square - nice rooms with bathroom 8/10 :)
