Very helpful staff. Evening meals were excellent and the best we had during our visit
Book a taxi via the riad from the airport as we just hired a cab and had to hunt for the road. Local lads tried to help us and then demand money for help we didn't want. Avoid the pain and book transport with the road before traveling. Top tip!
Everything was perfect - from the airport transfer, to the hospitality of the Riad staff, to the delicious breakfast! The rooms are stunningly beautiful and feel more like a palace than a hotel.
There was nothing that we didn't like - flawless :)
Me and my girlfriend resently stayed here and we loved it!! We were in the room at the top no. 6 Stained glass windows with amazing views ,, the dinner / breakfast was very good and the staff were polite and it felt like we were part of the family they also gave amazing recommendations for dinner and day trips ,, Thank you riad malika! We will be back!!
The apt was on 3 floors very comfortable with a small sitting area with lovely log fire, huge bathroom & large balcony, the staff were very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was very tasty.
A bit cold in public areas for breakfast, but it was december
Wonderful atmosphere and Art Deco furnishings. Attentive service from staff. Room well appointed and comfortable. Well positioned to walk to new town and Jamaal el Fna square. Fantastic breakfasts! Lovely roof terraces to enjoy a drink and watch sun set over Atlas Mountains. Elizabeth, Limoges
Getting early call to prayers from nearby mosque. It actually only lasted a few minutes and we managed to get right off to sleep again, but some might say it added to holiday experience.
We loved everything, the decor, the location, the rooms, the peace and quiet, the staff are friendly but not intrusive and breakfast was great. For the cost of the room ....priceless.
Loved the fires in the bedroom and eating breakfast & dinner by log fire. Also, the quirky and interesting artifacts. The staff were SO helpful and friendly and really looked after us well.
Not much we didn't like.
Beautifully appointed riad very helpful staff central location
We were warmly welcomed with fresh mint tea and used the taxi service offered by the Riad. Staff were all friendly and the dinner provided was excellent, as was the cosy fire and tranquil nature of the Riad.
Rooms weren't the most spacious, but we spent most of our time in the centre of Marrakech or on the roof terrace!
This Riad felt like stepping back in time to an altogether more tranquil and calm period in the midst of this chaotic city. Marrakech is a wonderful place and we were so pleased to have stayed at Riad Malika. Excellent, in every way.
This is not really a negative but! expect to be woken before dawn at the call to prayer and then simply accept that it is the way.
The lovely Riad offered us lovely secluded spacious accommodation for me and my sisters. The rooftop space was amazing and our bedrooms beautifully decorated and quirky. The staff could not do enough for us and the breakfasts freshly prepared and always something different to surprise us.
beautiful environment, immaculate service and comfort, outstanding value for money
We enjoyed the continuity with our driver and the ease of booking these things. He picked us up from the airport, drive us to the cafe clock the following evening and then provided us with a tour of Ourika Valley. Our hosts were friendly and hospitable, the ambience is calm and the riad is beautiful. I enjoyed being close to the mosque and woke up at around 4 am just the once. The riad is located a few minutes from the closest souk and a ten minute amble from the big square. I felt very safe in Marrakesh although the bartering and vibe is totally exhausting.
There was nothing I didn't like. If I was being picky I would say the €20 meal is a bit pricey relative to elsewhere. Marrakech vegetables are also, let's say, well cooked. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room would have been nice.
The courtyard was several degrees cooler than the streets which was very welcome in 35 degrees. Plunge pool with swim jets were a great idea and the quirky design was very appealing.
Being woken by the call to prayer at 5am. Not much the riad can do about that though! Shower wasn't plumbed in so water went everywhere as it was over a free standing bath.
It was a great Riad, with a nice pool, good hammam, exellent breakfest and nice staff.
extremly hard beds...
Excellent riad in a good location. Very attentive staff. Plenty of space in the junior suite. Would definitely recommend
suite size, staff, rooftop terrace, breakfast
wifi coverage, not much else
Fantastic staff, location, facilities, lovely pool, great food, wonderful building, spotless rooms. I couldn't find a fault. Stay here if you can!
location, staff, facilities and food was amazing!
wifi was not the greatest outside of the main area but when in Marrakech you really don't have that much time to be on the internet; plus they have computers for use as well.
all of it!
Service and hotel were amazing
We felt welcomed from the very beginning. The staff was helpful and kind. The decoration is spectular.
The taxi company they work with was late both at pick up and drop off at AirPort.
Hidden away down an alley, the dark wood door does not give away any of Riad Malika's wonderful secrets. The riad is built around a central courtyard with it's own mini ecosystem of lush vegetation, birds, tortoises and water fountain. Plenty of lovely nooks and crannies to daydream or read a book in. A small but beautiful pool well provided with shade and comfortable seating. We had two suites which were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Both had big bathrooms, comfortable beds, shutters, A/C and their own balconies. The place is packed with ultra stylish vintage furniture, lighting and objets d'art. The staff were great, attentive, friendly and with good local knowledge. Even my teenage children felt at home. The breakfast is tasty and generous. You can order lunch or an evening meal. A single traveller, honeymoon couple or family would be equally happy staying here.
The food was exceptional and surpassed only by the quality of the staff. It is an oasis of calm and relaxation in this labrynthine city of madness.
Staff were superb, nothing was ever too much trouble. The room was great and very clean with a small personal balcony over looking the pool on one side and the leafy, cool courtyard where breakfast, meals and drinks were served. The Riad itself was like an Aladdin's Cave with a doorway hidden down a back alley but once through the door you entered a wonderful courtyard with a fountain in the middle and tall trees and vegetation at each corner attracting an interesting range of birds in the morning and evenings. There were stting out/ lounging areas overlooking the courtyard at 3 different levels in the Riad, including the roof from which you could see the Koutoubia mosque. It was an oasis of calm after the noise and bustle of the busy shopping streets nearby.
Very little. The Riad (like most Riads in Marrakech) is not so easy to find as street names are prominently displayed so you must rely on local landmarks and shop fronts, or a local resident, to find your way but all that adds to the sense of adventure. The air conditioning was a little noisy and took a while to cool the room down in the evening but this wasn't a great problem. Unless you're an early riser or a heavy sleeper it's worth wearing wax ear plugs. The first call to prayer at the nearby mosque began around 4.30/ 5.00 am but only lasts about 5 minutes.
