The location was excellent about 5 mins walk from Place Jemaa El Fna. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The food cooked by Fatima was delicious! A nice peaceful Riad. Not really their fault, but don't book a guide through the hotel. The guide was had was terrible, only interested in taking us to his friends shops. |

The staff was very hospitable. It was small and quaint and very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was perfect for relaxing and sipping tea after a day in the city. the Riad is close to the souks and the main square. The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning and nicely decorated. There were no amenities in the bathrooms. No shampoo or new bar soaps. There was a guy, (I'm still not sure who he was or if he worked for the hotel or not) that stood around wanting to "help" us with our stay, show us where to find good places to eat and good shopping etc.. Beware of him. He justs wants to make a quick buck off tourists. If it wasn't for him, I would give this Riad a 10. |

The hotel was close to the Djemaa el Fna square. The room and bathroom were spacious. The map the hotel provided was inadequate to negotiate the many small laneways. Most of the locals could not direct me to the street that the hotel was on. It was easy to get lost. Breakfast was meant to be served from 7.30am but it was still not ready at 8am. |

This Riad was a beautifully decorated luxury oasis within 5 minutes of the main square & souks. Ideal for relaxing away from the hubub of the medina. Friendly and helpful staff. Would go again. |

Tea in the courtyard; efficient provision of an early-morning ride to the airport. The room was stuffy with poor air circulation and was overwarm on an April afternoon, although it cooled by nighttime. Also, the Riad Mariana was very difficult to find; the directions provided by the staff were incomplete and difficult for a Marrakech taxi driver to follow. |

The comfort of the facility and the friendliness of the staff were great. The location is absolutely perfect because it is quiet although very very close to the Jamaal el Fna place. Mr. Philippe is a nice and very friendly person. It is a good address in Marrakech, worth a second try. The toiletries were missing and honestly I did not ask the staff for it. |

Overall a very nice, attractive, secure place to stay and the staff were nice. The riad was in a good situation with an easy, safe walk to the main square. The Riad was very difficult to find, mnay locals did not know where it was. The rooms tended to be cold & it would have been nice to have had 2 chairs in the room. The evening meal was a little pricey for what it was. The exchage rate from euros to dhs was excessive and we would have been much better paying cash. |

The hotel was well located for the medina yet very quiet and peaceful. The roof terrace was great for catching a few rays and having breakfast as the sun rose. It's still fairly new so everything is clean and good value for money. Fatima is a good cook if you want to eat in the riad...try the samosas ..they're great! The owner is french and doesn't speak much english which made communication a bit tricky. There was no hot water in our initial room but we were upgraded for free to the suite which has a four poster bed and fireplace so much better. Beds a bit on the hard side but for the price hard to complain. |
