The scale of the road is perfect with excellent untroubled access to sites, good food and genuine people - so good that I retuned and intend to do so again !
-Good location(quite easy too find compared to other Riad's) -Clean -Friendly staff -WiFi How to find: When you enter street Riad Zitoun from Jaama el Fna need to turn left into first small street with sign "Derb Jemma"(where you can find carpet seller who will show for free where hotel is) than after 50m turn right and first left.
-Impossible to pay with credit card
The location is extremely good. Just few minutes from the main square. It was really nice for the person in charge of the hotel who was waiting for us at 1.00AM. The place has an amazing terrace with Jacuzzi. It is really beautiful place. Rooms are good as well. In general is a good place to stay and enjoy the nice terrace. Really close to the main square.
It was a bit noisy outside the hotel, I heard noises like someone dragging metal on the street but I think it was only that night.
- very helpful staff - close to Jemaa el Fna - a good room (Chorouk Double Room) - a nice roof garden with a good view - typical Moroccan breakfast PLUS egg omlet
- extremely loud muezzin at 5 in the morning :)
Interesting room, nice rooftop
Bathroom out of room
We have really great experience in Rid maud. The staffs are friendly and professional. it is almost perfect!
the views from the terrace were the best I have come across during my frequent visits to various riads. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful (not trying to sell excursions!!). Everything in this riad was designed for comfort and done with great style. One of the best!
staff were very helpful, could book trips, hammams and taxis, nothing was too much to ask! the room was lovely, traditional Moroccan style and very spacious. breakfast could be requested for any time between 8-11 and there was so much of it :)
Excellent place, really helpful staff before and during stay. We were met and guided to the riad to avoid getting lost and welcomed with tea and info about the city. The room was really spacious, spotless and well decorated. Great bathroom, comfy bed. Lovely terrace where a simple but great breakfast is served. We were able to store our bags on the day of departure and had a taxi booked for us at no extra cost. We previously stayed at another riad in the city and couldn't believe the difference in quality and in helpfulness. We would recommend riad maud to anyone visiting Marrakech.
Internet works great all over the riad (room, terrase, lobby etc). Personnel very friendly: Mohammed and Abdu are very helpful and supportive as well as the breakfast ladies.
Shower drain clogged.
Polite and welcoming. Good understanding of English, which helps with my limited French and non-existent Arabic. Nice little plunge pool to dip your feet. But really good location, close to everything but far enough down a small alleyway to be an ildylic getaway from the medina.
It's a bit dark on the lower floor as a large tree sits in the centre of the riad and blocks the light. So nothing to really complain about really
Breakfast on terrace. Helpful and friendly staff, flexibility of booking 2 more nights after our return from Fes.
One of the rooms (on ground floor) a bit damp.
big rooms with charming moroccan decoration, comfortable beds, good water pressure on the shower, staff with wide availability, abdou gave us a couple of maps and explained us where we were located and the intresting things to visit, he was really helpful

Great stuff, very helpful, perfect service, great location. We can highly recommend it!
My friends loved Riad Maud. Abdul and all the staff were very friendly and they took care of our needs. The Riad is also very close to the square but kind of difficult to find if it's your first time. We hope to come back and stay again in Riad Maud.
Location is perfect and room was cozy. Especially, I forgot my passport when I leaving but kindly staff was called me and they bring my passport safely at the middle of the city.
Its location. Abdoul, the responsible of receiving the guests was really agreable and helpful.
They do not include the breakfast in a normal booking (you have to contract it apart). We did it once, and, in our opinion, the breakfast has not a good value for money. You can get several other places with cheaper and better breakfasts.
location, tranquility, view from patio
Riad Maud was right in the heart of the old town of Marakkesh and couple of minutes away from plaza fna jemma. We ve stayed in the Tafukt room which was really brilliant, spacious and luxurius in terms of the rest city conditions.Riad Maud is a riad whichcombines the morrocan tradition with the modern style. All the staff was incredibly helpful and ready to organize every request we had, from a trip to sahara till the tea we wanted to buy on our way back home.We had an amazing breakfast, prepared upon request and completely fresh for only 4euro.Everyday room service provided, including towels changing and sheets. They organised also a taxi to the airport where the taxi driver came straight to the riad to pick us up and help with our luggages. Many thanks to Abdul for his great hospitality.
Difficult to find, no signs. There is not good service of the internet.
We loved everything about Riad Maud - staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect Riad was beautiful and had everything you needed Now has wifi too. Happy to recommend and would certainly return
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. A nice and cosy place to stay. Breakfast is also good. You feel the spirit of morocco in this riad.
There is no hot water in the morning.
Nicely decorated, nice roof terrace.
Very close to the market square. Delicious breakfast (additional fee).
Can t go wrong superb location and staff
Building noise next door due to expansion of riad
