Score from 88 reviews Excellent
Beds were comfortable and warm. There were heaters in the bedroom and bathroom, which was nice. Showers were nice and warm. They were able to provide a folding baby bed for our baby. Everyone was very nice.
The windows of our room opened only to the courtyard (typical of riads), so the air got a little stuffy during the night. Otherwise, everything was great.
Very good room. Tasty breakfast.
location cosy house nice "mother"of the house diner at home fresh orange jus and bread
shower, very wet everywere doors doesn't close very well
hard bed, breakfast cup not clean,a bit noisy
The Riad is just fantastic. A real traditional one, with wonderful interior. The terrace is huge, over three levels. The reception is open 24/7. We arrived in the middle of the night and the women were really nice to us. The communication was possible, even if they don't speak english. Meknes is a good place to stay and go to Volubilis is absolutely recommended.
The staff were excellent. The riad is very cosy
Big communication problem. They could only speak French and Arabic...no English
This riad is at the edge of the medina so easy to find. This accomodation is nearby the bab Mansour and other interesting places. The breakfast was perfect
You have to walk a lot of steps before you've been to the accomodation.
Location is at the bottom end of the medina (quiet!), right off the main street (turn right at the police officer/mosque, go through a pedestrian tunnel, then left again on a path that leads to the front door), Spanish is spoken, excellent breakfast in an enclosed room (great during cold weather), staff congenial, happened upon a wedding procession right next door upon arrival so the area has an authentic "hood" (neighborhood) feel. I'll return.
Unfortunately, the Berberre (twin) room's bathroom was unbearable regarding smell, despite the lovely room's 3 teeny windows that we had open constantly despite the cold weather. If they would take the glass out of the teeny bathroom window it would probably help to lessen the foul smell a bit. Take care as well because there are 2 double rooms without ANY windows, although when I checked them there wasn't any septic smell in either, thankfully. Shame because this place is very peaceful and beautifully decorated. Next time I will choose a different room, perhaps.
Easy to find. A lovely riad with beautifull rooms, patio, terrace, great breakfast and nice staff. They helped us organize a trip to Volubilis for a good price. Recommend it!
Beautiful, beautiful decor. It is a comfortable riad and the staff are very friendly. As mentioned in other reviews staff don't speak English, but with a little French you can communicate.
An authentic Riad, very comfortable. Great shower and hot water.
not easy to find from main street.
Easy to find (which is not common for a Riad). Nice place, nice atmosphere, good location.
The room is cold in winter, despite the electical heaters. The room is on the patio, might be sometimes noisy and with low privacy.
It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it. Parking was easy and took us less than 3 minutes walking to find the Riad. The entrance alley to the Riad has always a policeman standing there.
Staff was very nice but did not speak english.
Beautifully restored and decorated riad with a very friendly and helpful housekeeper. Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her.
The staff was so welcoming and nice and the food was excellent. Mme Aisha is a very good cook! The ambiance was rather nice and the riad was furnished with style. It's a very good location, in the beginning of the medina, near the taxi station - good connection with the new part of town.
I found the patio a bit dark, the light in the evenings were too dim. And the cleanliness of the toilet was just ok, it could be better.
Staff not really involved
