The charming hospita who offerd to pick us up at the airport, as such we did not had any problem to find the Riad. The staff is verry kind, helpfull and flexible.
We initially booked the Riad Mirage, but on arrival we were taken by the owner, Monique, to their new Riad De Le Semaine, which was round the corner. This turned out to be a lot nicer then the Riad Mirage and a lot better situated, being located right on the Medina and much easier to find. Having questioned why we weren't at the Riad we booked, Monique summoned a member of staff who spoke excellent English, to explain the situation to us. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, even those who couldn't speak much English were very accommodating. The Riad was spotless and very cosy and welcoming. We were given free biscuits and mint tea on arrival and a delicious breakfast each morning. The food there is delicious and I would definitely recommend the couscous, we were served a MASSIVE portion which tasted amazing! We were even given a free lift by Monique to the airport at the end of our stay as an apology for the initial confusion.I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. It made my first visit to Marrakesh a reassuring and very comfortable one! Thank you! :)
Great location, Clean small Riad
Bread was the main staple for breakfast an egg dish would of being good
The staff were very friendly, the riad was very well kept (clean, tidy, cared for and of a good standard). The location was superb.
Aircon didn't work...only a temporary thing, but a little frustrating.
The location was great, right in the Medina and less than 5 minute walk to the main square, restaurants and the souks. The rooms are comfortable with AC and the complimentary breakfast was nice every morning. Ayoub is a wonderful help with suggestions and speaks many languages, including English.
The wifi was horrible, it did not work in our room and barely on the balcony facing into the courtyard. We were there over Ramadan which we understood would provide some drawbacks as a traveler, but not to the extent that Riad Mirage had. The owner of the Riad speaks little English, but she conveniently chose to not understand us when we asked for anything - she would just give us a hard "no". We asked for dinner and lunch on two separate occasions with a rude "no" as her response. There was no sense of a warm welcome at all at this Riad.
The staff at our riad were amazing. Special regards to Ayoub - he went out of his way to show us the main tourist sites in Marrakech, he also took us into the souk and we felt like locals by the end of our stay. He helped us with our luggage transport and spoke very good English , he made us traditional Morrocan drinks whenever we wanted and was just always there for any silly questions.
Nothing .. We were happy with everything . Although wifi was only available on the ground terrace and not on other floors.
Superb location, beautiful and clean riad, lovely staff.
Perfect location near the main square yet in a quiet street. A lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle but still walking distance from all the main sights in the Medina. Staff were really friendly and helpful, Ayoub in particular thanks to his excellent English. Well appointed and spotlessly clean rooms and riad with a lovely rooftop terrace. Can't recommend highly enough.
Very helpful, friendly staff. Fantastic location close to the main square. Beautifully decorated - pictures don't do it justice. Had a WONDERFUL meal in the Riad - cooked by Amina, best couscous in Marrakech!
Staff were very helpful and standard of cleanliness was excellent. The location is also perfect for exploring the medina.
Staff have very limited English and the information provided only in French but they did their best to help in anyway they could
Monique and all the people working at the Riad are lovely and warm, very friendly people - it would have helped to speak better French as communication was a bit limited. The location is excellent - so central and yet quiet. The roof garden is is great too, excellent for having some quiet time in the sunshine
The place is renewed, with great atmosphere of old family house. The room we stayed in was small but cozy, with comfortable bed and spotless bed linen ( actualy we were amazed by the quality of cotton it was made of). There are a nice terrase, but during our stay it was quite cold outside. The hosts are amaizing and very helpfull It was a sort of adventure to find the riad because the Google map is wrong, so it would be smart to contact the staff and to ask for DETAILED instructions.
I liked how well kept and clean the riad was, along with their exceptional hospitality towards their guests! The food was one of the best I've tried in Marrakech.
Excellent continental breakfast with fresh juice, fruits, pastries. One of our best dinners, served with wine. Very helpful staff, fixing iPad and arranging tour. Located only 5 blocks from main square.
As our first Riad, we were intimidated by the alleys to the Riad until we became comfortable with our route.
