Best location, best staff, not too big. Ignore the major hotels when going to Marrakech. This is the place to stay. You will be made to feel very welcome and it's the best location to see everything. The rooms are so clean it's a credit to the cleaning staff- I have not seen a cleaner bathroom in all my travels. The staff are so warm and friendly. You will regret not staying here. I will recommend to all my friends.
I had a double bed that was two beds pushed together. It would've been ok but the beds were a little soft. Personal taste but I do prefer a firmer bed for my back. I'm also not a fan of the hand-held showers but they are also common in France it would seem. The only frustrating thing was the strength of wifi connection needs improvement.
The wonderful staff - the owners Christine and her husband could not have been better. Coming back to this Oasis of calm every evening. Our room - especially the air conditioning. The dinner we got there was delicious. Breakfast every morning - it was delicious and served on the rooftop terrace.
We loved the staff, the dinners, the private, safe interior.
The walk to the shopping areas, where one had to dodge speeding motorcycles.
This Riad is stunning. A total oasis in a very busy city. All the staff are incredible helpful, calm and will do anything to help you. It has a brilliant roof terrace, which we stayed on late into the night. Lovely fresh breakfast and maps provided to help find your way in the tiny streets. Honestly bar (inc. beer and wine!) available and you just settle up as you leave. Great transfer to the airport in luxury car. Couldn't have asked for more.
It could do with a better website, with more accurate details on how to find it. We got lost trying to find it (as taxis didn't seem to know where it was) We called the mobile number of the hotel in last bid to find it, and the owner happily came out and saved us. Not sure how happy i'd be trying to find the hostel after dark - so we just made sure we were back by last light.
The young guy from the hotel was VERY KIND, he helped us a lot, and tell directions to go. The hotel is a little bit scary at first (if u never been in marrakech) but after 1 day, its ok and i prefer it than 5* hotels away from the real maroc.
Maybe is a little bit away from the main plaza (10 mins walking), but it makes u see the "real" marrakech while reaching it.. No TV or A/C (only a fan) on rooms, but the rest is ok. A/C should be a MUST HAVE on hotter months..
Christine and Youseff and all the staff are fantastic. Christine came with us several times to help us oriente ourselves in the medina. Youseff gave advice on good cheap places to eat. The Riad is in a quiet area away from the square so is very relaxing. The rooms are very big, well lit and comfortable. Bottled water is given every day.
None to think of
The Riyadh itself is beautiful, clean, airy, and quiet. The breakfast are great, but other meals per order are limited and very expensive.
The location relative to other points of interest, and good restaurants is less than ideal. There is no land line phone with staff at the Riyadh, so it is difficult for other people to contact us at the Riyadh.
Staff very helpful in making arrangements for pick up from train station.
Breakfast was boring two types of bread with coffee and juice.
Staff, in particular Christine & Youssef very friendly and helpful
It was nice but not anything outstanding Young man in charge was very helpful and pleasant.
location was hard to find by taxi driver, instructions and map provided were useless, breakfast poor except for fresh orange juice and fruit as most items were lukewarm or cold. Read that bft. was good but not.
The staff was very helpful, especially the owner, Christine
The terrace was not shaded. Our room was too small.
Lovely helpful staff. The best massage ever. Food was varied and really good. Roof terrace delightful. All in all a great stay and would definitely return.
Nicer rooms on upper floors.
The owners Christine and hubby were very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. The Riad itself is very close to the souks and it was an easy walk to and fro. Christine also made sure that we knew our way around the Medina and souks. Thanks for the tour Christine!
The shower did not drain well. It was uncomfortable standing in a puddle of water!
The experience began with our taxi pick-up at the airport organised by Christine – at a very reasonable price - and ended the same way when we were delivered back to the airport 4 days later with absolutely no fuss. Don’t miss this service! On arrival at Riad Miski the atmosphere was immediately transformed from the busy street life to a wonderful calm. Christine was on hand to offer suggestions for our short break and supplied maps to help. We had prepared our itinerary in advance of the trip but I believe if we hadn’t then Christine would have provided all the information necessary to see all the sights. The bedroom was very pleasant, comfortable and clear and the roof terrace was wonderful. In my experience the Riad Miski set breakfast was unique as it was different every day quite unlike the norm where breakfasts are monotonously the same day after day. The location was also excellent being less than 10 minutes from the souk and main square but also close to other attractions. The streets are busy until late in the evening but in our experience completely safe This was our first visit to Marrakech where we found the whole experience wonderful and a large part of that was due to the Christine and her staff. We will return.
Friendly and welcoming. Great informative staff. Beautiful hotel
No pool - but few riads on the medina have them so not surprising!
This was a fantastic place to stay and we were well looked after. The excursion arranged was superb, and if anyone is visiting I would recommend, The breakfasts were different every day, and the riad was very quiet despite being a short distance from Jenna - a real oasis.
We felt very welcome at Riad Miski and were being helped immediately with every inquiry we had.
Everything! Especially the owners and staff!
Located within ten minutes walk of the main Square, Riad Miski is beautiful. The décor is tasteful with a comfortable Moroccan influence. The room was a generous size and the bathroom a good size with a little window to ventilate when the steam from the lovely hot shower filled the room. The bed was firm and very comfortable; two, wide singles pushed together so lots of room to spread out. The room was cleaned and tidied every day by a virtually unseen maid. Our host, Youssef, could not have been better; a softly spoken, gentle man who catered to our every need. Breakfast was always something different and delicious and ready when we were, no matter how early or later we rose. Our chef, Raja, was incredible turning out wonderful tasting dinners from her tiny kitchen in vast quantity. She even gave us a comprehensive cooking lesson which we thoroughly enjoyed and despite our useless French, her English was excellent and we understood everything. When resting in the peace and quiet of the roof terrace we could help ourselves to drinks from the fridge and make a note in the "honesty book". Christine the owner was extremely kind and helpful and talked us through the best places to visit/see/eat at on the tourist map and was always at hand to answer any questions we had. The Riad made our holiday perfect. 11 out of 10!
Nothing to dislike here at all.
The hospitality of the Moroccan staff and the French owners.
Wonderful oasis of calm in a bustling area. Fantastic staff who couldn't do enough to help. Delicious breakfasts and dinners to order and an exceptional trip to a remote part of the High Atlas. All beyond expectations!
I highly recommend Riad Miski - with it's welcoming atmosphere of beautifully decorated rooms, magnificent views from the roof top terrace and the outstanding and personally dedicated service. Located just outside - and pleasantly so - all the hustle and bustle of the vivid souk, Riad Miski stands out as an oasis of tranquility and quality experiences. The delicate dining and the in-house Hammam are other good reasons - and enough in themselves - to stay there. Me, my wife and three daughters loved our 6 nights at Riad Miski
Great atmosphere, beautiful features and details, a warm welcome and great hospitality throughout. The location is quiet and in a friendly neighborhood but very well placed to explore the Medina.
A wonderful experience. Affable, helpful personnel. Very clean rooms and premises. Beautiful terraces. First rate cuisine. (AV) Very quiet oasis to return to after the roiling masses in the medina. The owners are very knowledgable and clearly interested in making the guests' stay the best that it can be.
Very very helpful staff, great hosts and an unbelievably relaxed and beautiful place to stay!! The bedrooms are amazing!! Would recommend it to everyone!!
