staff so warm and helpful and friendly. This is great location if you want to experience the old Medina and the hustle and bustle but once you inside Riad its quiet private oasis,

That we only had one night.

Thee riad is nice but everything was ruined when was going to pay.

The manager of the riad tried to charge me more taxes that the previously agreed by booking, also tried to charge me a different cambio exchange from Euro to the local currency! Pay attention! Not recomended!

    The swimming pool.

The attitude of the staff, the poor breakfast, the cleaness of the room.

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the riad misria marrakech. Great location a midst the hustle and bustle of medina. The riad offered a tranqil and chilled out atmosphere to relax after getting lost in all marrakech has to offer. Roof top terraces, small outside pool in the courtyard (a welcome break from the heat) comfortable, clean air conditioned room. Our stay was made all the more wonderfull by the warm and welcoming staff who ensured all our needs were met ( thank you yousef and aziz for all the chilled beers which were at a good price compared to the outside cafes/bars) the mint tea and meal on the night of arrival was tasty. On the whole a very good price, a fantastic location I would highly recommend the riad misria to any adventurous types up for a true flavour of marrakech.

Michael the owner was fantastic meeting us on arrival and recommending plenty of things to do on our first trip to Marrakech, everything he suggested was great as was the map he provided. Other staff very friendly as well Riad itself is wonderful and the pool area is nicer than it looks in the photos and a peaceful place to cool off and relax

    a. Staff very nice b. Rooms c. Rooftop d. breakfast

    - As others stated, one does get lost easily and the riad will benefit with putting up some extra signs (as some have done with nice graffiti).

let's be honest: the location, in the very heart of Marrakech kasbah, a two minutes walk (maybe less) from the main Museum, is not for everyone. I'm no basketball player (170 cm) but I actually had to bow by head in order to enter the lane where the Riad has its entrance. When you are in, every concern fades away: the building is incredibly quiet, staff is helpful, the room prompted my little daughters to pretend they were two Arab princesses, and the breakfast is OK. Even the tiny pool was quite enjoyable after a day spent roaming in the city.

Not the hotel's fault, but my wife complained all the time about the (rather filthy) surroundings.

    The staff and the comfort

The owner seemed nice but the last day tried to charge us more money and got offended when we realized that. Not an honest attitude.

The design of the rooms were put together thoughtfully. The Owner is absentee and the staff tries very hard in his absence.

The entry is in an dark alley with a strong sewerage smell, insects, and puddles of water that you don't want to step in. One of the rooms had the wall surface peeling above the bed and had a strong, intolerable mold odor. This was a room provided after the first room was damp.

I really enjoy the staff and the facilities. Charming place with a lovely ambience.

I'm an older traveler the facilities were not easy find and quite a walk a wonderful place for younger travelers or people who love a good walk.

Staying at The Riad was a really good experience, it felt more like staying at a house than hotel. we had a really nice meal with entertainment with the other guests staying at the Riad all organised by the staff, was brilliant and a very Moroccan touch!. our hotel manager was amazing, and very helpful in any queries we had, i would definitely recommend staying here again, even though its not directly in the center this is what makes it a gem in disguise.

Wifi- but that is a general issue in Marrakesh

Good location, interesting place unlike anywhere else we have ever stayed. Owner very helpful and friendly and genuine. Michel really cares about his guests.

Some internet issues but not sure if that is Morocco in general.

The location is excellent. 1 minute away from the souk, musee de Marrakech, Ben Youssef madrassa, Ben Youssef Mosque and the Qubba from the Almoravid dynasty. The interior is almost perfect and the details are excellent. From the roof you get an excellent view from Marrakech and the sound of the call to prayer warmed my hart. We stayed in the arcade room and again it is beautifully done. The pictures tell no lie. We stayed with a 10 months old baby and everything was taken care of. `The babybed was in perfect condition and there are enough option for climate control, either warm (heater) or cold (airconditioning). The service is excellent. One evening we had no food and Khalid offered to get a pizza for us. At our departure we forgot some important papers and Hamza brought them to us at the airport personally.

The breakfast was continental, meaning bread, small pancakes and jam with tea/coffee and jus d'orange. It is served everyday so some variation is appreciated. The rooms are quiet noisy. If you are travelling alone there is no problem but with a 10 months old baby it can be challenging.

The attendands meeted us with traditional moroccan tea and cookies. Breakfast was also very fine.

The location was a great issue for us altough a young man accompanied us. We stayed 2 days and never experienced any security problem on route to hotel but narrow and dark streets were enouhg to freighten us.

friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast is simply delicious. Love the terraces, perfect location. It's best that you book a hotel taxi to pick you up from the airport (12-15 euro ) otherwise you won't find the hotel yourself, and it's very close to the Marrakech museum, you will find it easier once you checked in your place.

internet is a bit slow but it's pretty the same everywhere in Marrakech

Upon arrival to the airport we were met by a taxi driver sent by the Riad (on request) and he was right on time. Once we got into the medina we were met by Michel who was standing by to walk us through the winding alleys to the Riad. Once inside it truly is a lovely space and is well situated with an easy 15 minute walk to the jema el fna square. Unfortunately we heard everything that was going on in the central courtyard in our room and no blackout curtains means rising with the sun. But, as everyone goes to bed pretty early it’s very easy to get a good night’s sleep even for sensitive sleepers like me. We later discovered that part of the noise we were hearing through our wall was actually a shoemaker, which made the experience a little more authentic. Wi-Fi can be spotty in the Riad but seems reliable when you have a good signal so no complaints there. The owner was extremely accommodating allowing us both early check in and late check out as we had some odd flight times. The room was exactly as described and overall it was a beautiful place to stay. Michel also made some great recommendations for restaurants but to be honest, the food served at the Riad was delicious and great for a quiet night in. Absolutely recommend eating here but you will need to notify them in the morning if you wish to have dinner as they shop for everything that day. We are not typically bed and breakfast type travelers but really enjoyed our stay.

    Wifi can be spotty

This is possibly the best hotel I have stayed in for hospitality. Every single staff member couldn't do enough for me. It was like being welcomed into the family. The riad is right in the mix of the old city, so if you want to feel like you're Marrakech with all the sounds, smells and feel of the old city, this is the perfect place to stay. It has so much character that it just doesn't feel like a hotel at all.

The wifi was very slow and patchy but I think that it's like that pretty much all over Marrakech.

Riad Misria gives you a feeling of warm welcome with a lot of personal attention. The sphere and location of the Riad is very nice. Book the driver to pick you up at the airport, this is a lot easier and otherwise you simply will not find it.

During our stay the hammam was renewed, so we could not use it. The owner of the riad informed us, so for us it was no problem.

Welcoming staff and lovely room. Staff offered to show us around shortly after arriving to help us orientate our selves but otherwise left us to our own devices (appreciated). Arranged airport transfers at short notice.

Was informed well in advance but pool etc not working when we were there (december so not an issue) and had 24 hrs without hot water. Otherwise a lovely retreat!
