Located in the centre of Marrakech, this B&B is a 13-minute walk from the Koutoubia Mosque and a 10-minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square.
Score from 142 reviews Wonderful
This Riad is located in the south of Marrakesh's Medina, in the Kasbah district and 10 minutes from the Jemaa El Fna. It offers rooms with private bathrooms.
Score from 59 reviews Wonderful
This traditional riad is in a restored 18th-century mansion in the heart of Marrakech's Medina, a 5 minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square. It features a hammam and a rooftop terrace with lounge areas.

Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent Wifi. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Riad is close to the square but you have to find your way through the confusing little streets so it adds to the experience. We went with Riad's driver to Ourika valley which was a great choice - driver was experienced and knowledgeable, listened to our requests and gave good advice.
We stayed for 3 nights, great riad and room. Youssef and the whole staff were all simply amazing. Rich breakfast with handmade cakes and crêpes, fresh juice and marmelades selection: perfect! We had also a dinner with real maroccain dishes cooked by Fatima: amazing! The staff has been fully at disposal and kind with su un order to make our stay super and feel like at home. We hope to come back soon and for sure we strongly reccomend it!
The riad was really nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very nice. The location was great - a ten minute walk through the souks to get to the main plaza.
The staff were quite pushy and tried to make us have a hammam at the riad, as well as 'sell' a few other things to us (we already knew what we wanted to do so and it wasn't our first time to Morocco, so we didn't really appreciate this). They were also a bit awkward when we paid the bill and could not reconcile the amount to the Booking.com invoice - just saying that someone else did the money side of things so they couldn't answer any questions. When we did question them we felt like they were making fun and being nasty about us in their own language. The staff didn't make us feel great at all.
Have travelled Morocco extensively over several years and just loved this place. Staff were always cheerful. The hotel is small and in a great location being just inside the city wall and within 100 metres of the ocean. A superb rooftop terrace for breakfast or just chillaxing.A really great place to stay - and Essaouaria is so much nicer than the now sadly tourist-ridden Marrakech.
Nothing. All great.
Huge rooms, beautiful riad patio and staff was very helpful. They spoke fairly good English and fluent French and helped us finding our way through the souks. We also took the taxi service from the riad (a bit expensive, 15EUR for a 30min ride to the airport x2), but I recommend it as they dropped us off 50M from the riad next to a staff member.
- We were placed in the wrong room at first, and then moved to the one we booked. Both were amazing but it's something to avoid. - Second room had a few small ants but no biggie for us.
Rooms were nice, if I didn't have to share a bed with my friend!
We were given a 40minute lecture on how the role of Muslim women are. I was travelling with a couple, after our lecture by Josef, we were told the women must sleep together and the man in a separate room, I wanted my own room, and my friends - a couple - wanted theirs. But no, Joseph wasn't having any of it! At that stage we should have just left, but we waited until the following morning then left.
This place is great. It's centrally located and had everything I needed (wifi, comfortable bed, good bathroom, questions answered) Quite the friendly staff and a lovely courtyard in which to enjoy breakfast before the chaos of the souks. An oasis of sorts..... Hire a cab to take you there.
It was an absolute pleasure staying at Riad Misria. We were greeted with a traditional Moroccan dinner and a musical show. The host, Micheal, kind and helpful, recommended places to visit in Marrakech. Otherwise the riad is beautifully decorated and is located in the heart of the old city.
The location of the riad makes it difficult to reach with a local taxi. Therefore, always call the riad to arrange a taxi to avoid trouble.
The exceptional staff Location is in heart of Medina
Fantastic place, amazing, awesome, wise for money.. In the centre of Medina of Marrakesk very near El Fana square and souk. The place is full of traditional Morocco architecture.. Quite, clean, nice food. The hospitality of the working people is very distinguished .. Yousef, Aziz, Fatima .. As if I'm at my home .. Thank you .. You made it unforgettable vacation..
Poor wi fi at room
We absolutely loved Riad Misria. Michel was very welcoming and accommodating. He hosted a fabulous dinner party with delicious food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great and the Riad is beautiful. We had such a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm oasis in Marrakech!
Breakfast was basic however the staff are more than accommodating to any requests. We asked for eggs and they happily provided us with boiled eggs every morning.
- Spacious room - Great staff - Quiet - Location - Food
Right in the heart of Medina, next to the souks. Great location to get to all main sites including Ben Yossef and Jemaa el-Fnaa. The Riad is run by very lovely staff who speak french, arabic and english. The staff were very attentive and wanted to give us the full Moroccan experience. The Riad is a lovely sanctuary away from the craze of the Souks during the day. The Riad has a pool, outdoor terrace, massage and hammon - it really has all that you could want. I would recommend doing excursions out of Marrakech, the Riad partners with a lovely tour guide Abdul who will give you a wonderful experience of Morocco.
Located right next to the souks which can be very overwhelming to venture out in.
The service was perfect. From the moment we arrived in marrakech they helped us find the riad by Phone. When we arrived at the riad, they helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was good. When you need something, they take care of it. Very friendly people and made you feel like you're at home. Hammam was also very nice.
staff so warm and helpful and friendly. This is great location if you want to experience the old Medina and the hustle and bustle but once you inside Riad its quiet private oasis,
That we only had one night.
Thee riad is nice but everything was ruined when was going to pay.
The manager of the riad tried to charge me more taxes that the previously agreed by booking, also tried to charge me a different cambio exchange from Euro to the local currency! Pay attention! Not recomended!
Great staff Nice rooms and patio Good breakfast
Not very good wifi connection in the room
The swimming pool.
The attitude of the staff, the poor breakfast, the cleaness of the room.
Just got back from a wonderful stay at the riad misria marrakech. Great location a midst the hustle and bustle of medina. The riad offered a tranqil and chilled out atmosphere to relax after getting lost in all marrakech has to offer. Roof top terraces, small outside pool in the courtyard (a welcome break from the heat) comfortable, clean air conditioned room. Our stay was made all the more wonderfull by the warm and welcoming staff who ensured all our needs were met ( thank you yousef and aziz for all the chilled beers which were at a good price compared to the outside cafes/bars) the mint tea and meal on the night of arrival was tasty. On the whole a very good price, a fantastic location I would highly recommend the riad misria to any adventurous types up for a true flavour of marrakech.
Michael the owner was fantastic meeting us on arrival and recommending plenty of things to do on our first trip to Marrakech, everything he suggested was great as was the map he provided. Other staff very friendly as well Riad itself is wonderful and the pool area is nicer than it looks in the photos and a peaceful place to cool off and relax
a. Staff very nice b. Rooms c. Rooftop d. breakfast
- As others stated, one does get lost easily and the riad will benefit with putting up some extra signs (as some have done with nice graffiti).
My stay here was amazing, thanks again to the staff for everything they did to make this place feel like home!
Great, friendly staff, we really enjoyed our stay
let's be honest: the location, in the very heart of Marrakech kasbah, a two minutes walk (maybe less) from the main Museum, is not for everyone. I'm no basketball player (170 cm) but I actually had to bow by head in order to enter the lane where the Riad has its entrance. When you are in, every concern fades away: the building is incredibly quiet, staff is helpful, the room prompted my little daughters to pretend they were two Arab princesses, and the breakfast is OK. Even the tiny pool was quite enjoyable after a day spent roaming in the city.
Not the hotel's fault, but my wife complained all the time about the (rather filthy) surroundings.
The staff and the comfort
The owner seemed nice but the last day tried to charge us more money and got offended when we realized that. Not an honest attitude.
