Created in 2002 in one of the most prestigious arabo-andalous palaces in the imperial city, this 10-room boutique hotel located just off the famous Jemaa El Fna square has continued to evolve since to gradually form this veritable caravanserai of modern times and exclusive concept of jazz hotel. As an example Riad Monceau inaugurated a couple of years ago the very first rooftop in the city. True "urban camp" suspended between heaven and earth, "La Pergola" has established itself as THE jazz scene of Marrakech in the span of a few months. A place now acclaimed by the "New Nomads" who like to come here to chill and savor signature cocktails as well as Moroccan tapas on blues, jazz or even bossa nova sounds, depending on the band that plays. In 2021 the Monceau innovated again with the opening of the “Bistro Arabe”, a brand new restaurant run by celebrity chef Myriam Ettahri. A unique concept of "Oriental jazz bistro" which revisits the codes of Moroccan cuisine on blue notes. This without forgetting the acclaimed MarrakChef cooking classes or the very exclusive spa by “Les Sens de Marrakech” which will make your stay as unique as the place itself. Marc ANTOINE owner of Riad Monceau lives next door and is always available for guests. He's a famous french photographer who fell in love for Marrakech 20 years ago. He recently published "Marrakech, a special year", a successful artbook of BW photographies taken during tne pandemic. He is also the creator of the acclaimed "MarrakChef gourmet trophy" dedicated to the worldwide promotion of Moroccan gastronomy. Working hand-in-hand with the Moroccan authorities for tourism he has gathered around him a team of people who are keen to make you love Marrakech and Riad Monceau as much as they do.

Riad Monceau is so close to the Jemaa El Fna ! 100 yards ! 2 minutes walk ! All main attractions of the historical quarter of Marrakech are right there !
