The first room they took us too was very cute but a bit claustrophobic and no a/c, only one fan. We were going to stifle in there. The second room was much much much better with a/c and windows. My second complaint is that booking says they accept credit cards, BUT NO, THEY DO NOT!!! When we told the owner, she said it was a mistake. It's not nice to offer something which you do not have.
Finding the Riad is not so easy, but we did it, of course having an annoying guy escort us to it and demanded 10 dirhams when we gave him 5. We had to close the door on him. At the entrance to the medina, walk straight, pass Riad Jnane Mogador and watch out for Derb Jemma on your left, a tunnel looking road, walk past the mosque and turn right onto a narrow alley, there you'll find the riad. Upon our late arrival we were greeted by Rasheed, a very nice gentleman who helped us with our luggage up the million steps. He took us to a room which we did not like because it was hot, only one fan and a window to the patio (my mom is a bit claustrophobic). We didn't even have time to tell him we did not like it when he dissapeared so we went outside, knocked on the door and asked for another room, one with a/c as we booked. He kindly helped us move to a much much much better room with a/c on the terrace, with windows so the sunlight could come in, very comfortable, spacey, clean, only towells and toilet paper were provided. The breakfast was nice, on the terrace, sweet as is custom in Morocco, lots of bread, jam, tea, coffee and delicious orange juice, everyday.
