Staff couldn't have been more helpful with local advice, recommendations, and a very early breakfast
Bed was a little too hard for me
From my very first email correspondence with Anouar (and there was a lot of it) to the day we checked out, Riad Nasreen was nothing but an absolute pleasure. Nabil always brought our breakfast with a brighter smile than the Moroccan sun. Mohammad didn't think twice about walking us to a venue when all we asked for was directions. Anouar made sure that my other half didn't miss a single Arsenal game. The Hammam was clean and the massage that followed was amazing (I could have had another hour of this). The beef tagine with vegetables was so good I had it for 3 dinners in a row. Very short distance to the back entrance of the medina (which, in my opinion, is the only way to start exploring this huge maze)... In short, Riad Nasreen was home from home. We will definitely be back...very soon. P.s. Apologies is I misspelled any names...
The stay was too short :(
The location, 5 minutes walk from the Medina souks & 10 from the main square was great. All of the staff, especially Anwar & manager Muhammad were brilliant. Gorgeous Riad , beautiful views, fabulous rooms (with aircon) & food, wonderful staff who go the extra mile. The red roses for our honeymoon were a nice touch! Try the Riad food for dinner on the roof terrace & make sure you book a hammam!
Nothing. We'd go back in a heartbeat & already planning our next trip.
Beautifully refurbished traditional Moroccan home - an oasis of calm after the chaos outside; very central location; lovely breakfast, bedrooms & communal sitting rooms including terrace & particularly helpful staff.
good location, nice staff,
only sweets at the breakfast,no windows for fresh air only AC
The Riad is super nice, clean and very friendly, helpful ppl. Easily accessible and very close to the souks, the place Jemma al fna and all other attractions! Def a good choice to stay!!!
Everything was perfect. Nice and spacious rooms, great breakfast and lots of tips about the town and the local costums
friendly staff and exelent acomodation. We got lots of good tips about the town and the country
Great, friendly helpful staff, lovely and tranquil after the busy world outside. Would thoroughly recommend it to others.
Very friendly service and attention to us and our friends. I'm sure if we've have asked for more they would have tried the hardest to accommodate our needs. Oh... great breakfasts too!
Air conditioning unit wasn't at its best.
Amazing location in the old town but on a quiet street. Staff and management were lovely, food is great and the rooftop couldn't be more pleasant to relax on.
Nothing at all!
Staff were excellent - could not do enough for us, decor lovely, very peaceful, we all felt very relaxed.
Could do with a jacuzzi or plunge pool on roof.
The atmosphere, the character and nice taste remains as a picture bringing smile! Serenity,an oasis in the middle of Medina! Staff very helpful, cheerful but professional at the same time, especially the two young Managers Anouar and Mohammed.Food was tasty and not expensive. It felt like a real pleasant and beautiful home to me and my 28 and30 year old daughters who would love to go back soon! Strongly recommended!
Staying in the family suite it could be more comfortable if there was a way to communicate with the reception other than climbing up and down the stairs..
Everything is perfect. The beautiful riad is quiet and peaceful place, even though it is near busy area. Every staff was really friendly and helpful with many useful local information while we stay there. We used to have a excellent breakfast on the lovely roof terrace. If I go back to Marrakech, I definetely visit there again.
Riad Nasreen is a lovely peaceful place to stay amidst the hustle of the Medina of Marrakech.
Everyone was helpful and couldn't do enough for us! Great location in the medina--a quiet derb off a busy bab. Wonderfully appointed rooms, decor, etc. All in all, wonderful!
The helpful friendly staff couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was wonderful, even to making sure the breakfast was gluten free.
Nothing everything was great
Very hospitable, excellent location, easy to get to, safe, clean. They made us a simple dinner after hours one evening- very nice! I had a hammam - excellent, and massage, good. We felt well taken care of - friendly staff, very nice proprietor. We are returning there for the next part of our stay. The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Very pretty and lovely. Highly recommend!
Room and decoration. Quiet location in Medina.
Internet connection is little sluggish. Hot wanter in shower is not stable.
Great terrace for breakfast. Nice big room. Fairly good location. About 15 minute walk to the main square. Staff were lovely, but weren't able to help very much when we were trying to organise transport for our next destination.
The smell in the bathroom was awful. It came through the pipes and was really unpleasant (Room 8). Difficult to find the riad and weren't provided with helpful directions.
We were so happy to have found a place to stay where we felt well looked after by the wonderful staff. Anour (Anwar), the assistant manager, was extremely helpful and always smiling and ready and willing to assist us with all our different queries. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary there and enjoyed a special day which started with a surprise Anniversary cake at breakfast presented by all the staff and finished with a delicious dinner booked by Anour in a very good Moroccan Restaurant. The Riad is nice and calm after the busy noisy streets and we spent time up on the quiet terrace relaxing too. Everything is within walking distance and you soon get your bearings. We found the people that we met to be very friendly. Anour organised all our taxis for us including to and from the airport and the driver walks you right to the Hotel door everytime, which is great when you first arrive and wouldn't know where to go. We ate a couple of times in the riad and it was probably the best food we had, although we enjoyed all the meals we had in Marrakesh.
Everything! This riad was extremely clean, peaceful and relaxing. The facilities are beautiful and the staff was fantastic! The staff arranged for a hamman and massage on site and arranged for our children to get henna tattoos on site for an excellent price. Breakfast and dinner was wonderful and dinner was reasonably priced. The riad is located in a quieter section of the medina and we thought the stores around it were very nice and safe. Seriously, stay here you will love it!
Nothing, everything was great!
Great hospitality, we felt at home immediately. Also warm atmosphere between the members in the staff. Helpful with suggestions what to do. We recommend Riad Nasreen! Ulf and Mia from Sweden
Friendly and helpful staff, attractive facilities, breakfast on rooftop terrace.
The atmosphere, ambiance, decor, service, hospitality and the staff were excellent. Special commendation to managers Anwar and Mohamed who were always very helpful and made us feel like at home. My wife and teenage daughter specially loved the hammam and enjoyed being washed and scrubbed by Fatima, while my favourite place was the roof terrace where one can sit in the pavillion while watching sunset over the rooftops and at the same time admire snow capped Atlas Mountains and listen to call for the prayer from surrounding minarets - a unique Marrakech experience.
Minor thing which did not lessen the experience of our stay - there were no drawers in the room. Not sure if that is Morrocan decorative style in general but a drawer in a night table or a chest of drawers would have been useful.
