Abdul was very accommodating and spoke good English. There was an interesting diversity of guests.
-Comfortable, warm room -Good breakfast with a nice view on the terrace -Friendly helpful staff -good wi-fi connection
-The room didn't have alot of natural light
Really kind staff. Very helpfull. Nice terrace on the roof with a beautiful panorama.
The Riad is a located in a beautiful building near the Medina and the city wall. Staff is very helpfull, friendly and available whenever you have a question or problem, furthermore good breakfast included. Really nice place to stay and we will definately come back here!
Quite a distance from the airport of Fes Saïss, however the Riad can arrange the transport from the airport to the Riad (we made use of this service)
Location is good - in old medina and at the same time close to the entrance and taxis. Nice breakfast on the terrace with a view.
It was very cold in the room. I was bitten by some insects. We informed the hotel in advance about late arrival and received their confirmation it's ok, but when we arrived nobody answered the phone (we could not find the hotel for a long time).
Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Mohammad met me at the gate to the old city to take me to the riad(email them in advance), and they sent a guy to get me food and a bottle of water and fruits as it was nearing night. Excellent terrace views and pretty good breakfast. Good intro to Morocco!
The rooms are pretty basic and a bit musty on the lower floors.
Attentive staff Nice roof terrace for breakfast, etc Tasty breakfast Generally cozy
A bit of humidity in the room Difficult to find the first time you go (but that applies to probably all hostels in Fez)
Riad Nassim is very nice to see and to take pictures of it. Abdoul and Mohammed are very nice and kind, they are always available to help you. When we had arrived they kindly offered us a cup of tea. The price is good and of course you cannot aspect a five stars hotel. The wi-fi connection works very well.
They didn't give us a city map that could be very useful just to retrieve the way back to the riad. The bed sheet was smaller than the bed. We slept there just two nights and they didn't clean the room and they didn't make the bed as well.
They didn't answer our emails and didn't pick us up at the bus station as was required. They also charged an extra fee that was not originally considered.
Nice Riad (riad is name for hotel with patio in middle in Morocco) with great view from tares (hotel is located on hill overlooking medina - old town). Good breakfast and decent internet. Local tourist tax was included in price
My room was tiny . Shower didn't have a hook to hang shower handle.
Riad Nassim has a truly great location. It is a bit difficult to find it for the first time but to be honest - it's the same with almost all riads in every moroccan city which are situated in medina. It's very quite, the view from terasse is breathtaking. I really liked that from the closest gate I could walk there without any hastle. Personel is really helpful and hospitable. I loved that you could eat your breakfast whenever you liked. Probably next time when I'll be in Fes I will also book a room in Nassim.
We had a room on a last floor - the entrance was directly to the terasse. I don't know if that was matter of the season (it was raining all the time) but teribble smell from the toilet was just repellent. Also our room was terribly damp. I think it might be perfect during dry months or summer.
The staff are excellent here and really look after you. Abdul is an excellent, fun host. We were given a free upgrade to the large suite as it was empty. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous and the panoramic views of the Medina are stunning :) Very good breakfast, thanks Mohammed.
Dinner was deliscious but much more expensive than restaurants in the medina. Bathroom was damp and drainage a bit smelly.
Well preserved traditional building. Good confort for the price
Very hard to find the first time you're going there (the insane amount of fez-medina-hasslers doesn't make the task of finding the place any nicer) I sugest the owners to make a small map of how to get there and making it available on booking.com
friendly and helpfull stuff, clean rooms, and very good breakfast
we arranged transfer from airport to riad, but noone didn't wait for us, so we had to take taxi, and on the enterance of medina some boys lead us to the riad and that costed a lot
Excellent lobby Nice breakfast Very nice terrace
No wifi in the room No heating (it is a little cold in the night in winter) Very difficult to find on the arrival – almost impossible without a guide (it is not covered by maps google)
Awesome View from the rooftop terrace, nice breakfast.
We had a room on the rooftop so it was quite noisy with people socialising at night when we were trying to sleep. I had to keep the bathroom door closed because it stunk so bad and It wasn't that clean. Pretty hard to find, no signage. We hired a guide recommended by the hotel, he spent more time on the phone than with us, and took us to 7 shops and pretty much abandoned us at those, probably a fair waste of money.
Breakfast on the terrace, the view, the staff, beautiful decorations.
Hard to find due to the fact that the street it is located on doesn't exist on google maps.
good view from roof, good location
very hard to find
Really helpfull staf, they were waiting for us at the gate and kindly escorted us to the riad. Room was really basic, but next to the beautiful terrace. We arrived in the evening and wanted to grab some dinner, but people in the medina kept hassling us and tried tricking us into a restaurant (that was closed) where they gave us false expensive menus so we went back to the hotel where the staff helped us by going out to grab us a snack! Not a safe feeling at all to go out at night.
Asked for a double room but received a twin. We didn't complain as we were there only 1 night.
Beautiful views of the old city , I loved sitting on the roof , having breakfast , watching the birds , looking at the old city , enjoying the sun shine , the staff were unbelievably warm and helpful , really nice , curtious , make you feel that you are amongst your family members !
-Great view of medina from terrace. -Good breakfast. -Mostly pleasant staff.
-Got bed bugs. The staffed moved us to another room and found more bed bugs. My wife had 50 bites and I had over 10 bites. Found the bugs and showed them to the staff. I don't think they took any necessary action except wash sheets which doesnt get rid of them. Bed bugs will ruin any stay at a hotel even if everything else is pleasant. - Some loud drunkeness in the common room late at night/early morning by staff.
The staff made us feel very welcome. The rooftop terrrace looks over the medina.
Nothing at all
room with bathroom - big and comfortable terrace - excellent view air conditioning decor strange and funny doors from bathroom to the medina street helpful staff
All was great, from staff to breakfast. They speak French, English, Italian... So good. Rooms are big and clean.
beautiful riad, very good breakfast, amazing terrace with view on the city of Fez, extremely kind staff, absolutely recommended
