Holiday ended too quick wish we could have stayed longer.
Fantastic place to stay, very cosy Hospitality was amazing made us feel like family and made our stay in morroco so much better. Always had staff around if anything was needed And the location was perfect Would recommend to every one visiting morocco.

The hot water only lasts for about 10-15 minutes, so if there are two of you then you have to space out your showers, or one has to shower morning and the other at night. For our first night we were in a smaller downstairs room and then were moved the next night (not a problem for us but may be a problem for other travellers). The wifi was generally reliable but sometimes did not work. Finally, there is often tobacco smell in the property which we didn't mind too much but other travellers may not like.
We had a very nice 4 night stay - the location is excellent and close to the main square so it's great for people who plan to spend most of the day out but can also come back during the day to rest. The owners Hassan and Ayoub made us feel very welcome when we arrived and helped us book a day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls and a 3 night trip to Zagora and Merzouga. The riad is lovely and well decorated and has air conditioning and the breakfast is good. Mirjam was in touch with us before our stay and helped organize pickup from the airport and guidance to the riad.

We loved the staff, the placement and the pancakes for breakfast!!!
March 31, 2015
Our room at base floor had no glass windows with holes in the shutters that were annoying both for the lack of privacy and cold from outside. The sink had only cold water and the shower had a non-movable shower-head.
The staff is young, friendly and very helpful. They speak a good english. The riad is in a good position near the main square of the Medina.
March 12, 2015
No real problems, but some of the rooms have little space and the bathrooms are across the corridor (in two of the rooms).
Basic Riad in a very good location. Everything is OK for the price paid.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had long and interesting chats about the city, country, cultural differencies etc. Some of the highlights of our trip! The Riad itself is cosy and has a detailed decor. There's also a sunny roof terrace available. The location is great, too: on a very quiet alley, but only a few minutes away from the souks and less than ten minutes from the Jemaa. We'd be happy to return!

The staff were so attentative, that they even met us outside as they knew it would be difficult to find. The map that was emailed to us made it easy to find. Far enough from noise, it was only a stroll through the souks to the La Place. It was a very relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

There was no glazing on windows, no heater, no duvet and it was 5 degrees outside. Should be fine for summer though. My bedlinen smelled of cigarettes. Plumbing definitely needed some work on it.
Location Nice staff

It was a little bit hard to find, yet we received a nice (pdf) with the route over the email before hand; so this was well taken care off. And once you know where it is, it is not hard to find again later on.
Beautiful riad, room had everything we needed. Also we were treated wonderfully by the owner, best hospitity we've had during our two week trip through Morocco.

-The "ensuite" bathroom is actually outside of the bedroom -High commission and misleading info for trips booked through the Riad- for the 3 day/2 night desert tour, I was told that the fee is for private accommodation in a comfy hotel the 1st night and your own tent with bath facilities the 2nd night- far from truth! First night was placed in a room w/2 others, and there was no warm water for shower (below 0 outside!), 2nd night, was squished in a tent with 6 other random people, no facilities in site...on top of that, I paid more than anyone else on tour- the Riad took an additional 15 euro commission!
The staff were friendly

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
January 7, 2015
Bed was two small single bases pushed together with one bigger mattress on top - we ended up falling off the edges. Promised heating was broken. Bathroom was fine, but it did smell of mould as it had no ventilation. Kind of dusty room.
Good location, friendly staff, good email communication.

On our leaving morning, nobody from the staff showed up neither for breakfast, nor for the check out...We just put the money in the room and left the premise...
We were received with a traditional the au ment

Very difficult to find at first
Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable Riad in which you really feel like you're at home.
December 30, 2014
We took room with attached bath and wished we had not. Toilet was separated from room with just a half wall, no door. Room was old and had a odd smell could be related to toilet being literally inside. Breakfast was dry. Staff could have been more helpful in telling us about doing things on our own, they just wanted us to take tour package.
It's location is fine once you find the place. Staff is friendly and plays good music. Good heating in room and hot water. OK value for money.

beautiful house, great location
December 18, 2014
Nice and small, very nice atmosphere in, and a good location (5/10 min walk) from the jemaa el fna. Next time in Marrakech we definitely come back. Thanks for the great time Rachid.

Smoking cigarette smell all over the place.
I liked the staff.

The mattress on the floor & lack of privacy for toilet arrangements.
The locality. The hospitality. The atmosphere & the generosity of staff. A quirky but happy place to stay, especially for groups of friends. Owner & staff A*

Medina is like a labyrinth but you will always end up in Jemaa el Fna and the Riad is just 5 minutes from there which is just perfect: close to the buzz but far enough from the noise and easy to reach. The staff is amazing, they got in touch right after our booking with hint and tips (all extremely useful). They arrange for us a cab and came to pick us up from the gate to the town as cars are not allowed inside the Medina. They are an happy bunch of people, easy to get along with. We spent all our evenings chatting and chilling in the courtyard or on the terrace and it was priceless...they really make you feel like home. Ask them any questions you may have, they will be happy to help. The rooms themselves are just right: nothing pretentious but absolutely ok and great value for money. We would definitely go back and strongly recommend it!!! Keep it up!!!

No room service. Very noisy in the evenings when people/staff were hanging out in the courtyard. Not very clean.
Central location. Very good breakfast. We were given good directions and found the riad very easily.
October 27, 2014
great location, close to the main square. Rachid, the staff guy, nice and friendly, kind everytime.
October 23, 2014
We had the one room where the toilet was behind a small wall, so it was in the same room as the beds. That was a bit awkward sometimes.
The riad was clean, spacious and the staff was very helpfull. You have a room with your own toilet and shower and good beds. The noise of the city is very low, but your are very close to the center. The way to the medina is save. Even as 2 girls alone, we could walk home in the night. Staff gives you good advice about trips. There are tourist books and maps in the Riad you can use. The roofterrace is cosy. You don't really have a view over the medina, but that's because you sit low, and there's a wall around the terrace. If you stand up, you'll see a lot. The breakfast is nice! And the wifi works great.

Beautiful place at good location and extremely nice and helpful staff!

Not living there :D
This jewel of a Riad is in the heart of the Medina, 2' away from both Jemaa El fna and the gate to the outer city, absolutely quiet during market hours being located in a clean and elegant Derb, fresh when the city is roasting, and stunning in its beauty all the time. The interiors are decorated in a dream-like explosion of colours, cleanliness rules everywhere, and just take a look at the terrace and it's view on the roofs of Marrakech, and you'll be ready to ask for a 2-month reservation. All this would mean nothing without the kindness and spontaneous friendliness of the guys working there. Youba and Rashid welcomed us as friends, helped us all the time, cared after us as brothers when we underwent some organisational accidents, woke up at dire hours in the night to spare us trouble and prepared unforgettable breakfasts. They also spent loads of time with us in conversation, and their conversation is definitely more than professional touristic chat. Not to mention the tajine we cooked together last night. They organize trips to the desert as well, so we're planning to go back to Marrakech next holidays just to enjoy again their hospitality and this experience we couldn't try last time. So much we trust their professionality, we already know it will be a treat. Thank you, guys.
