The riad is beautiful and it has a terrace with amazing views of Chafchaouen, the mountains and the spanish mosque. It is located close to the central square and a 5 min walk from the waterfalls. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

The shower was cold right away in the morning, but warmed up mid-day.
Awesome location (if a little hard to find), very friendly staff & great decor. I would highly recommend it, especially for the price!

Typical Moroccan beds/pillows: very firm!
Great location in the medina, friendly staff. Room was super dark with lights off - great for sleeping!

Perfect location for this truly unique town. Made even more enjoyable by Hisham, the super friendly and helpful manager.

Great atmosphere, right in the heart of the medina

The only things I didn't like about the Riad were the lighting in the rooms (which was a little too dim) and the fact that is sits next to a shoe-cobbler's place (and the shoe-cobbler evidently likes to cobble in the middle of the night sometimes...). Also, the owner/manager does not speak French or English...but everything was nevertheless communicated (sometimes using hand gestures haha!).
The riad (rooms and exterior) was clean, and the showers worked quite well (by Moroccan standards). The beds were comfortable and I had no problems sleeping (1AM shoe-cobbler excepted) both nights of our stay. Additonally, the hotel is within the medina and very close to the major souk areas, as well as the main square within the old city. To boot, there is a good djellaba shop practically next door...

Room 1 has no ensuite. Shower is on terrace level. Don't really know why they put us there when all other rooms empty.

Shared bathroom for the triple room is 2 floors above and the owner tried to sell us the triple room with bathroom for more 10€/night. Gladly we didnt accept. To pay with VISA/MAESTRO he will charge you more 3% also.

It is nothing really what I didn´t like but to say is that in our triple bedroom there was the bathroom included but without any door and the dividing wall was less high than the ceiling. That means that your privacy is constricted but I suppose this is another detail which forms the tyical Moroccan atmosphere.
Riad Nerja is a typical Moroccan Riad in the Medina of Chefchaouen. It has an impressive atmosphere with its colorful patterns and stucco at the very high ceilings. Ideal for Spanish travellers because the manager is Spanish. The room was clean and we slept perfectly.

Antonio was so kind and helpful. He recommended us great restaurants and helped us arrange our car back to Tangier. Riad Nerja is beautifully decorated, has a great terrace that looks over the city and was one of our favorite places we stayed on our trip.

Minor things only: - The lights were dim - The bathroom did not have a door or curtain but only a "bend" in the hallway. I would stay here again in a heartbeat despite these shortcomings.
Clean, comfortable. Relatively quiet (for a medina)

It's a short walk with steps from where the taxi drops you off which might be a problem for visitors with heavy bags.
Lovely traditional old house in the old town. It was an education to see how they lived (and still do). The rooms face onto a light well and those at the bottom were rather dark. We asked to move up a floor and the extra light made all the difference.

There was nothing to dislike about Riad Nerja, in our opinion.
The owner came down to the car park to meet us, and took us up the hill into the medina, where Riad Nerja is situated. Our room was great, very clean with the highest bed we've ever seen! Bathroom facilities were excellent. Breakfast wasn't included in our package, but the owner directed us to a brilliant cafe overlooking the river where we had the best breakfast ever! Antonio, the Spanish owner, doesn't speak English, but communication was effectively carried out via sign language! We liked this charming riad so much, we stayed an extra night!

Limpio, bonito y el localización es perfecto. Clean, beautiful moroccon style and right inside the old town. The owner came to meet us when we got a bit lost and gave us advice on where to go next. Excellent value for money.
