The owner and staff are very friendly and very helpful. The food is absolutely amazing. I had the best couscous! Within walking distance to the Bahia palace and the Medina and the square.
staying at Riad Noos Noos during the Christmas season was a true holiday gift. Laurent, the owner, and his entire staff made our holiday a real gift. My partner and I are not keen on Christmas and all it's hype and wanted to "escape" and Riad Noos Noos provided that.....We escaped into a world of luxury....the Riad is stunning in every single detail of which there are many....Laurent has created the most artistic and comfortable environment...a sanctuary from the buzz of the outside world....Noos Noos is located in The Spic Market/ The Old Jewish Quarter and is a perfect location for visiting Marakech....it's a very short walk to the hustle and bustle of the souks and just a "bee line" to Jamaa el Fna. Each room in the Riad is individually designed .....each a feast for the eye! Chose any room....you'll be delighted, all are perfect! The breakfasts were delicious, quiet and peaceful....just the way I enjoy my start to a day.....We often lounged on the rooftop, again, a magical delight of design and comfort and quiet....watching the storks who so cleverly and artistically were nesting on the adjacent mosque's minaret....the call to prayer the only sound to interrupt the silence and somehow I found it to be quite soothing....reminding me what a privilege it was to be at Riad Noos Noos and in Morocco....I remain grateful....
Absolutely....nothing!!! Though leaving was a bit sorrowful.....
Laurent, the host was completely affable as was the staff....staying at Riad Noos Noos was exceptional....we felt we were staying in a small, comfortable, friendly museum. Laurent has put his every effort into creating a most beautiful Riad. The attention to detail in every room, staircase, rooftop....is amazing....almost too beautiful to leave to venture out....Breakfast was delightful and fresh...Any desire we had Laurent and his staff did their best to fulfil...I would definitely recommend staying here for as long as possible...
there isn't anything we disliked....
Riad owner & staff were superb. Friendly, helpful & informative. Owner organised airport transfers, spa treatments and excursions on our behalf (our French isn’t brilliant). Lovely meal served on our arrival upon request. Clean & comfortable. Beautifully renovated and refurbished. Location was ideal, far enough away from centre to be quiet and only 15 minute walk to souks, etc. Wonderful roof terrace. Would thoroughly recommend.
Location only 'Good' as was very tucked away down a few alleyways. Would recommend transfer from airport as we did. Wifi only 'Good' as not available in our room which was on roof terrace, however we could receive it easily in the salon.
I cannot recommend this Riad enough and can see why the majority of reviews are all excellent, we absolutely loved it, thank you! + WARM WELCOME: The French owner Laurent was a superb host and spoke perfect English and all the staff were extremely friendly. + INFORMATION: Excellent email communication pre-booking. Laurent goes above and beyond in making you welcome, providing us with maps and plenty of details on what to do during our 2 days in Marrakesh. + TRANSPORT: Laurent organised a taxi to collect us from the airport (15 euros) and met us when the taxi arrived which was perfect as would have been very difficult to find otherwise. Likewise when we departed he carried our luggage to the taxi and ensured we got off safely. + LOCATION: Very well located only 10-15 mins from the airport and within a 10 minute walk of the Medina. The Riad is in the old Jewish quarter "The Mellah", tucked down a few side streets a couple of minutes from the Bahia Palace making it easy to return to after a long day sight-seeing. + FOOD: Delicious dinner on arrival (18 euros pp) lovely soup, huge tagine and rich chocolate dessert washed down with a local "Flag" beer. Breakfast was included and was also excellent with lots of fresh produce ranging from freshly-squeezed orange to omelettes and pancakes. Thank you to the Chef Fatima! + ROOMS: We really enjoyed admiring this wonderful building and eye for detail in all the interior design and classic Moroccan style which Laurent spent 5 years building. Very comfortable bedroom and great communal areas including a nice library with a great collection and a lovely roof terrace. Would definitely love to return here and spend more time relaxing in the Riad as well as exploring Marrakesh, thank you for making our time so special!
Did not dislike anything this was a superb Riad and run by a wonderful owner Laurent. Ten out of Ten.
Tea whenever you need it helpful staff and helpful owner individual rooms nice decor good location excellent shower
breakfast could offer a bit more choice
Laurent and staff were absolutely lovely and could not be more accommodating - they made the trip!
The Riad is at a short distance from the main square, but far enough from the noise of the center, which is perfect. It is silent, very clean, cozy and the wifi works perfectly. The breakfast is great and the staff is kind and serviceable. In general, everything about this Riad is excellent.
It is right next to a mosque that makes the call for the pray every night at 5:30 am, like any mosque over there, which is a little bit annoying, but it only lasts for 10 minutes. However, it is not actually a negative aspect of this Riad because there are mosques like this all over the city, so it is almost impossible to find a place to stay in Marrakech that doesn't have this problem.
Laurent and his staff are amazing. They looked after us with such kindness and care that we couldn't ask for a better host. they made us feel like family and at home. Fatima is the best chef and her dinners were incredible! I'd definitely come back to stay here :)
nothing - everything was perfect
The owner was very hands-on and friendly.
The bed left my back a little sore.
Great hospitality from Laurent and his team. Informal cooking lesson from chef Fatima was very useful. Breakfast is a good variety and enough to last you the day.
Laurent, the French owner, was great - very welcoming and helpful. His Riad is beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of antiques, art nouveau and quirky collections. It was an oasis of calm in the middle of the old Jewish quarter and near the Spice Market. Great breakfast and plenty of it. Lovely roof top area. Staff were wonderful. Highly recommend.
Nothing to dislike
Staying at Riad Noos Noos was probably the best thing I have done when planning my trip to Marrakech. You are at the same time very close to the hustle and bustle of the city, but the Riad is incredibly peaceful. By trying to access the riad alley, you emerge on Medina´s environment. I have no words to say how lovely is Mr. Laurent (the riad´s owner) and all his staff. No doubt when I come back to Marrakech I will stay there again!
Noos-Noos is a relatively small riad, c. 12 rooms. It is located in a classical, well restored Marakech town house.Laurent, the french manager creates a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The place is impecably clean, the breakfast with several hot choices prepared on the spot.
The managers restaurant recommendations should be considered with some caution.
Staff was great. Laurent goes above and beyond to make your stay complete.
We adored Riad Noos Noos, I really could never have imagined anything like it and to be honest, this comment won't do it justice. It's a haven in an amazing location- the staff, facilities, attention and food were just incredible. Thank you Laurent and your team, we really hope that we see you all again.
The riad is well located close to the Spice Market and within easy walking distance of the main square. The owner, Laurent is charming, friendly and helpful and has an excellent team. The riad is very clean and beautifully furnished, The breakfasts are ample and we enjoyed the delicious dinners prepared by Fatima.
We liked everything!
We looked through literally dozens of reviews of Marrakech riads until we decided on this one, and I have to say that even then this place exceeded our expectations. The riad has been restored and furnished beautifully, it is spotlessly clean, our room was comfortable and peaceful, the terrace was the perfect place to relax, the breakfast and dinner (you need to order this by the day if you want it) were amazing, the owner and staff were lovely, the location was great (easy 10 minute walk to the main square) and the place felt so safe that we left our valuables in our room and didn't use the safety lockers that are available. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family. If you are looking for the perfect riad in Marrakech, you've found it!
Laurent, the host, will spend a lot of time to tell you everything you need to know about the city. He is a great host. Staff is very attentive in general. This is one of the most "personal" hotels I have stayed in. This Riad is situated in the old Jewish quarter. Tourism is not yet as developed as in the center of the Medina which was a fact we appreciated a lot. Finally, the place is decorated very tastefully.
This is going to be very picky. It is not a major problem. The mattress was protected with a plastic cover. In a hot night that makes sleeping a bit sweaty. There is however, air condition and a fan in every room.
Wonderful hotel with lovely people. Laurent is a person with big heart and tgia is reflected everywhere.Thank you so much for everything, it was amazing experience! We will definitely come again!
Great facilities: hamam and massage room. The owner was very helpful in helping me book additional activities.
Location was a bit difficult to find and slightly off the beaten track. However this actually became a positive when I saw how busy the centre of town was. The only other negative was the loudness of the next door synagog.
The ambiance of the Riad was peaceful and calming. We both enjoyed walking through the front door into beautiful surroundings which were a world away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. The staff were so helpful and super friendly...they really helped make our brief stay more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone who is visiting Marrakesh.
The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome and took the time to help us organsie our week and the trips we wanted to make. The room was very very nice. The entire Riad was decorated exceptionally. Breakfast was great. Excellent location for seeing the sites and markets. Lovely roof top for relaxing. I will definitely be staying here again next time in Marrakech.
Only one small thing: the booking.com page says "You can relax in the hot tub" but it is in the middle of breakfast room/lounge area and I never saw anyone use it so I'm not sure this is true.
All the staff were very friendly with wonderful smiles. Laurent was an excellent host.
