You get tea & pastries after arrival which is nice. Wonderful beds and lovely cushions! they have umbrellas lovely sunbeds (do ask for some towels) with turtles :) nutella for breakfast very nice bathrooms, which are big
a couple of things, which can be easily done better: - better guest service. There were 2 receptionists at all times when i was there, and they were clearly not looking after the guest as good as they could have done - we didnt know there were eggs- so we heard a conversation about it and then we asked for it. We got each one egg, which i thought was savy. Breakfast otherwise good, but my coffee was forgotten and it wasnt asked if we need anything else. -wifi broke down and had to be restarted after we asked - pool is not heated which is a shame as so nice looking - it doesnt say in the room if the water and the pastries are free (they are) -the receptionists left the building when we came and we met them on the street- what would have happened if we would have come and they wouldnt be there? -no credit card payment, which should be mentioned in here -we asked for dinner places and were told one place- upon asking for another, the guys werent really able to tell us more, which is a pity. -no hair dryer, adaptor or charger for phone
From the moment we arrived, our concierge Idris made our stay comfortable. The Riad is located in a convenient location about 10 minutes away walking from the souks, Traditional Moroccan breakfast was hearty and filled us up before every morning and we enjoyed the terrace as well in the evenings. Definitely recommend for a couple.
The room was well equipped, breakfast was delicious and varied each day, staff couldn't be more helpful and we were allowed extra late check out free of charge. The roof terrace was a real bonus too!
Quite hard to find (but think that's the case with all riads) and expensive to buy drinks in the riad.
The place is great, people very friendly and the rooms are clean and very pretty. if you have a loud neighbour, it might be hard to sleep. Location is centric but not easy to get there at night. Lots of guys try to get money to walk with you. I recomend you get a taxi instead.
The staff were absolutely wonderful, very kind, warm and attentive. I highly recommend the food at the riad, it was my all time favorite for the whole stay. Breakfast was never quite the same and all very good. The riad is very well located and it was easy for taxi drivers to find the small square. Souks are just a few steps away and a walk down to the new part is not so far. Also after getting adjusted it would have been easy to walk to and fro Jemmaa el Fna. The riad arranged for a car to come pick us up at the airport upon arrival as we had never been in Marrakesh before and it was already evening. A member of the staff was at the square to meet us so all went smoothly. Getting a taxi for the airport upon departure was also no problem because of this good location.
Sounds travel quite easily but it did not bother us except once when there were late arrivals.
Staff were incredible and the attention to detail of the decor was second to none.
If I'm being very picky, the wifi could be a bit slow & there was only 1 mirror in the room (the one in the bathroom). That's me being very picky.
All of it The traditional Moroccan Decor The breakfast The wine The rooftop terrace Location is right next to the souks Near to most attractions The wonderful and attentive staff - nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable bed
Room was on ground floor so not much light but there wasn't anything else available but on saying that it was extremely comfortable.
Staff didn't pay attention to the requests made and forgot twice to deliver the required breakfast. Sleep on ground floor impossible when other visitors coming or leaving as the suitcases are dragged and staff not attentive.
Booked the riad to surprise the girlfriend for her birthday and it did not disappoint. It was our first time to Marrakech so we did not know what to expect. The whole experience was truly amazing! The staff are wonderful, the rooms/riad is beautiful and the breakfast was out of this world. We will be returning without a doubt, thanks for making an unforgettable stay!
We stayed here for our honeymoon, the riads stunning, chic but authentic. The staff were so welcoming (they have me a bunch of roses as we just got married!) and the room was gorgeous. It's a 15min walk or very cheap taxi to main square and souls. Highly recommended!
Nothing bad to say at all!
EVERYTHING was AMAZING ..
Everything! Fab breakfast, beautiful decor, extremely helpful staff - who even played some traditional music for us one evening :) Place was extremely clean and tidy, and in my opinion the huge stay was unbelievably good value to for money -- will absolutely be back. About 15 mins walk from the main square, so easy to explore the city, but nice and quiet place to stay.
Helpful, accommodating staff, lovely rooms and comfortable relaxing roof terrace. Good breakfast.
Nothing not to like really.
Staff was great. Very authentic rooms.
Wifi was weak.
As I imagine a raid it is like be in the 12 century, all nice and neat, a beautiful decoration with a bath in the middle of the patio so you can relax your feet after a long day walking. I chose this raid because I want to invest my money in one owned by spaniards. Good taste, good food and ask for marroco wine.
I was very surprised that the owners were no there, but my disspointment was when thre was not a little touch from them, like a letter as a welcome to us....it was our honey moon and nothing was set in the room but roses petals on the bed.....they should be more into those touches....it would make a huge difference.
Great location, amazing and very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast and excellent rooms. The riad only has 5 rooms, so feels like a very special and intimate place
Swimming pool is more for decoration purposes rather than for swimming
Very well decorated with taste, you get an authentic feeling when you walk in. The rooms have charm, and the staff is very kind.
beautiful rooms and building
Great service... responsive & helpful
Intermittent wifi connection in my room - BAB DEBBAGH
Beautiful place! Comfortable stay! Our best times in Marrakech were spent lounging in the riad, drinking wine, and enjoying the atmosphere.
Only cash accepted as payment.
Simo and his colleagues, Noor and Driss, took wonderful care of us. We were guests at the Palacio for a week. They helped up rent a car to retrieve a lost suitcase in Casablanca and many other small things that made our stay in Marrakech memorable. While the location of the riad seems a bit daunting at first, all taxi drivers know "Le Parking de Larousse." We found the location to be great; we could go through the souk or circumvent it, to get to the Katoubia. We had a terrific time. Hans von Baeyer & Barbara Watkinson
Amazing breakfast, home made moroccan food, excellent service. Beautiful riad, exquisite design and taste in the deco. Receptionist Simon treated us like family and made us feel at home, he was the best ambassador for Marrakech and the riad would have not been the same experience without him.
We had cold showers twice, but there was construction next door so it could have been caused by that.
1 Staff was very prepared and helped with all our request, like: booking restaurant, hamam, give directions etc.. 2 Place is awesome, very weel designed 3 Restaurant is fantastic, food is excellent 4 Terrace is awesome
This riad is in a good location (within a five minute walk of the souk). I could not have chosen a better riad. It truly gave me a wonderful Morrocan experience.
Wonderful hidden gem, you open the doors to a gorgeous palacial riad. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. We throughly loved our stay and would highly recommend staying there.
