Everything ... from the staff helpfullness to the location, everything was quite perfect. Decoration is a plus for those who enjoy it. It is inside the Medina, 5 min walk to the main square and, at the same time, close to one of the gates, making transportation very easy (cars, vans, buses are not alowed in the Medina).
This place has a charm. I am going again to Marrakesh soon and trying to find other nice place, because I like changes, but it is not so easy. My wife still tries to convince me to go again to Palais Sebban. This place is extraordinary. We spent 6 nights and it was ramarkable stay. You can see that from the photos. They not even give a feeling of how good is the the place. They say staff is nice in many of the places, but in Palais Sebban you feel like the staff are your friends. The breakfast is just ok, but better than in many other riads. I do not want you to feel that I am the salesman of this Riad :), but if you are coming 1st time to Marrakesh and you do not want to spend too much time on choosing you have no better place to choose. The prices for rooms are ok. For resto, a bit expensive, but food is top class (X-mass dinner was amzing). Even tour guides bring some groups of tourists to this riad as to an attraction. What they do 1st is not studying the menu, but looking around, as the place is so beautiful. Deco of this riad is outstanding. Hard to find comparable in booking.com at this price range. Really. You must know that some french architects wrote books based on this riad as example of art in architecture. So many specific rooms (ask the reception guy for a riad tour). Each different and so charming. I am maybe like a saleseman of this riad, but really it is a place that is specific... The staff was very nice. No issues with anything. Also convenient location. Maybe 150 m from the riad and you are in the beginning of souk paths. Recommendation: take the taxi transfer from the riad. They work with company that is profi. 20 eur and you get the luggage straight to the riad reception. At the roof there is a plenty of sunbeds when you can take a suntan even in winter. Wy wife really enjoyed it. The riad is silent place to stay, even if around there is a 'mess' (if you know what I mean :) ) and lots of things going on.
One thing only: In winter, as it might be a bit cold, the aircon could be a bit more efficient. When we were leaving the room, we left it ON, but when we came back it was OFF (job of cleaning personnel). Then to heat back the room took a bit of time. Sleeping at night when outside temp it 8 deg celcius is not fun when your room is not worm. This is a remark to the riad management. Anyway... there are extra blankets so we surviewd :)
Perfect...absolutely amazing, beautiful riad, fantastic staff. Thanks so much for an amazing much needed break!
Excellent and beautiful Riad in the heart of the old part of Marrakech. All staff extremely helpful. Each room is unique and traditionally decorated. Overall one of the best parts of our trip to Marrakech!
The restaurant is lovely but there are better value for money places elsewhere. Difficult to find but so are all Riads and they will provide a transfer for you if request.
The Riad was everything that we could have wanted. Great atmosphere and style.
47 steps each way to one of the top suits in the Riad. With recent replaced hips and knees this was difficult for me to undertake! With the extensive walking in the Madina I need a holiday to recover.
Building, location, staff, authenticity, ambience.
Breakfast could be better - sometimes no bread and labelling would help.
Tranquility & Cleanliness
Shortage of drink options. ( ran out of Rose Wine whilst we were there and took several days to replace) I guess to be expected for an Islamic country though)
